ABANDONED. Two books I need to find. Suspense, horror, science fiction

First book is about a guy's wife who runs off and joins a cult. He tracks her down and joins himself in order to get her back. I don't remember the author or name.

Second book is about a coven of vampires in a big city (possibly New York) and the eldest leader is trying to keep the younger members of the coven from going crazy and exposing them. also trying to maintain control of the coven but it's a blood moon or some phenomenon that causes them to go bezerk and they called it The Feast. One of the younger vampires thinks it's time for new blood (no pun intended) and tries to undermine the leader. Againn, don't remember the author or name.
