Beatrice your blog is amazing and this is definitely the group for you! I loved reading your recent reviews - Getting Schooled by Emma Chase was one of my favs this year. I have Hot Asset on audio (Zach Webber is a fav narrator) but haven't read it yet - now I want to! And you're a swimmer? Me too! I've eecently been dipping my toe in the shallow end a little and am excited to broaden my reading. Hello everyone! I'm Amanda and I live in Derbyshire UK. I'm married with 2 young sons. My eldest is 6 yrs and diagnosed autistic, my youngest is 2 yrs and is suspected autistic. I work as a veterinary nurse so it shouldn't come as too much of a surprise to learn we share our home with Bertie the Labrador and Humphrey the cat (I have to be very strict with myself and not take home every abandoned waif and stray that ends up at the vets!) Reading has always been important to me, but even more so after having my children and facing the daily challenges that we do. It's a very necessary bit of me time, as well as an important calming activity for my children. I do prefer to sit and read a physical copy of a book, but I find that it's easier for me to combine listening to the audio with reading the kindle copy. I tend to gravitate more towards mystery books and I haven't read heaps of romance, but I've been doing the summer romance bingo and I've discovered some writers who I will definitely be reading more of like Debbie MaComber and Sarah Morgan. And FYI, I tend to ramble on a lot so someone just tell me to hush if I'm banging on too much- I won't be offended 😂 xx

Hi Amanda! A fellow chatterbox! I'm so glad you're here!

I love reading stories about characters on the autism spectrum. I've come across some really good YA ones - I don't know why those characters just fascinate me, but they do. I am partial to the way they are so literal. Plus, in a book you can get inside their brains and see the way they're thinking. I have such an appreciation for those affected by autism now.

Sounds like you've had a great intro to romance with Sarah Morgan and Debbie MacComber. It's going to be great getting your opinion on the author's we'll be reading in the next few months. I'm so glad you're on board!

Hello my name is Laura aka mom2triplets04 on YouTube, Facebook, books amino, Twitter, Goodreads.

I am a mom to G/B/G triplets that are teens going into high school this September. I work in an elementary school part time as a cafeteria/recess monitor. I love working with the little ones.

I read anything from middle grade to adult but my favorite genres are mystery thriller (fast paced books) or new adult (romance). I tend to struggle with classics and fantasy give me a realistic fiction and I’m reading for hours. I tend to use audio books for fantasy novels. I also DNF books often because I get bored very quickly and jump from book to book. Think I have ADD as my attention span is very short.

My favorite new adult author is Colleen Hoover so she’s an auto buy author and I’m glad you are starting with her new book.

Colleen Hoover is, for example, an author I would probably not have read but found that I really enjoyed All Your Perfects.
