I have exciting news to share but it needs some background first. I am on a few street teams, one of them is Denise Swanson's. (A street team does free promotion for authors, passing out bookmarks etc.)You gained points depending on what you did. You cashed in your points for a prize. The grand prize was Denise will name a character after you in her next book. Guess who won that grand prize, yours truly?! I won this prize last summer and I have been waiting a year for this book to come out. I, Candace Davidson will be a character in Murder of a Needled Knitter. I don't know if Denise will be using my whole name or just my first name. I am thrilled regardless.
If you haven't picked up a book by Denise Swanson, pick up Murder of a Needled Knitter out Sept 2, 2014. I can't wait to read my name in black and white! If nothing else you can say that you know a celebrity, LOL!
