Kimber Li (kimberliauthor) | 1 comments Newblood & the Ice Princess (Tales of the Elven Princesses Book 1) by Kimber Li

Good morning! My new release is a YA Contemporary Fantasy, a massive revision of my first published novel. I obtained my Reversal of Rights and independently published it last month.

Blurb:

Ophelia longs to be free, free of Diabetes, free to attend the college of her choice, free of her monstrous ex-boyfriend.

Gaining that freedom comes at a terrible cost, for Alaska isn’t called ‘the last great place to hide’ for nothing. Other than human renegades, an array of creatures hide among the blinding white snow. Bear-shifters. Vampires.

Elves of the Borean Realm.

Adrian’s the new guy in school. He faked his identity to get close to Ophelia, knowing the same monsters who took his sister would try to take her too. He knows better than to get too close, but he has no idea her exceptional senses make that effort futile.

Or that only she possesses the power needed to defeat the Newbloods and save her species from extinction.

M.F. Hopkins | 12 comments Kinda' new to the group, and I have two of a three-book paranormal saga that came out in late 2017, so I hope it's okay that I list them here. Thanks!

The first two books of my Angelo, Texas Trilogy are available in Kindle and print format.
Angelo, Texas
A Good and Fair Trade
They are of a paranormal romance fantasy nature, and feature a variety of multi-cultural/mixed couples. In the third book that I'm currently writing, there will also be a m/m couple. I'm all about inclusiveness! :)
If you are so inclined, please read the synopses and previews of both books to see if either or both might interest you. Thank you in advance!

Boris Slocum (boris_slocum) | 7 comments Happy to announce indie publication of my first book, a dark fantasy novella entitled "Wergild: A Heartwarming Tale of Coldblooded Vengeance." Not the first thing I've written, but the first I've published. It was a delight to write from beginning to end. It's available on Amazon in print and ebook.

The Blurb:

Tormented, robbed, and murdered by their Gheet neighbors, the Surrey folk of the County of Blenheim are a battered and cowed people in their own land. It's what happens when you lose a war. Deirdre is just a Surrey farm-girl, but when the Gheet murder those she holds most dear, she refuses to sit around and wait for her own slaughter. She wants justice, she wants vengeance, she wants blood, and she's willing to do anything to get it, even if that means selling her soul to the fiend, a dark and malevolent creature that lurks in the far-off barrow in the blackest woods of the forest. One way or the other, she'll have her vengeance.

Valerie Sells | 50 comments A Better Guide in Ourselves - a contemporary retelling of 'Mansfield Park' - is #2 in the Austen High Collection.

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07RK33NK2

Good advice can be gained from family, friends, and loved ones, but ultimately, there is a better guide in ourselves, is only we would listen.

Becki Nelson is looking forward to her summer break from Austen High this year. She has so many plans both for fun and in helping others, but she is especially excited when she hears that all the Miller siblings are finally coming home.

Better not to mention Alyson who never liked her anyway, but T.J. has been like a brother to Becki, and Connor was always her best friend.

Of course, things change when children become teens, and home can feel like a whole other place when new faces show up to alter things.

How will Becki navigate a her way through a summer full of new friends, old habits, family drama, and surprises both good and bad? Join her on this adventure and find out for yourself!

Men, though, pay for the use of the Nerve with Taint (a compulsion) and Corruption (a mutation.) The story follows three male Wielders and their struggle to not fall to their afflictions as well as trying to find out more about the shadow government trying to keep the cure away from them.

Torture and fleeing from the law and body corruption and dedication and love. :)

The Carnelian Fox by Kay MacLeod

Monsters don’t exist. At least, they didn’t until we created them.
Maiyamon was once merely a game. Now it's a global reality. After dozens of hit monster collecting games raked in billions of credits per year, it was inevitable someone would create real ones. Unfortunately, it wasn’t so obvious how many people would dump them in the wild…

Sam Wentworth grew up with nothing. She’s worked tirelessly just to get through college and earn her first monster. Bankrupt and exhausted, she sets her sights on fame and fortune in Maiyamon arenas. Instead, Sam’s caught between battling the rampaging elemental creatures abandoned by their owners and standing up to a toxic group intent on ending the game forever.

With her flame fox cub, Finn, at her side, Sam sets out to build a team capable of protecting both innocent people’s lives and the creatures she loves. That’s the easy part.

Monsters may fill the world, but it’s humans she fears the most…
