(view spoiler)[ I know, I couldn't believe she denied him!! :( Like, I can kind of sympathise and understand why but at the same time I was just like why did you say you don't know him?!

I also can't understand why she doesn't just tell Chris. Like I can tell she's conflicted but at the same time she says they've been going out a year and he seems quite understanding. And I'm sure he would be able everything too.

The funeral was absolutely heartbreaking. When she broke down about Khalil and Natasha-- in tears!! (Especially hard hearing it on audio!)

The interrogation was infuriating!! Some of the questions they asked... UGHHHHH. Fully spinning their own narrative on the whole situation. I liked how she was making sure they didn't take the wrong thing from what she was saying though. (hide spoiler)]

ch 15 (view spoiler)[hearing the reason that Khalil sold drugs hit me haaaard. I'd forgotten that that was the reason :'( . I'm just getting to the interview with the DA and i don't think i'm ready for the rage that this will give me....but I'm excited for when she finally decides to used her voice.<\spoiler>
@Cate yes! It's like they forgot she was a child and instead saw her as a pawn to spin their own narrative. But she stood her ground. Good on her. (hide spoiler)]

It's absolutely heartbreaking and disgusting at the same time that Starr's dad is instantly targeted by the cops and in front of his kids, even when the realise who Starr is. But as well how they reduced Mav to almost nothing in front of them. It's so horrible. (hide spoiler)]

(view spoiler)[ I'm glad that her dad and uncle decided to help devante out. He seemed like a nice enough guy.

I'm glad she sorted things out with Chris as well. He seems good for her. Although I probably would have died if that was my boyfriend up on stage doing anything that would draw attention to the both of us. Glad she found it funny.

I'm so anxious to see the outcome of the hearing. I happy for Starr how she was able to stand strong. And that she stood up to Hailey, even though she shouldn't have hit her because I knew it was only gonna turn out for the worst for her. But Hailey was such an asshole. I had been hoping Starr'd drop her cause even minus all the racist stuff she still seemed like a horrible person.
