Hello. My daughter (11) who hardly ever reads is trying to remember a first book in a middle-grade trilogy that she enjoyed years ago. This is all she can give me: A king played a poker with devil and lost. Devil takes King's son and daughter and take them to hell as his slaves. To escape, the son pretends to be the devil's grandmother and steals three strands of devil's hair. It is a trilogy, and she remembers the book cover being red, blue, and yellow (not in particular order). She said it was average size for middle grade (like first Harry Potter book in size). I googled for hours with no luck. If anyone can figure this out, I'd be so grateful. Especially since she usually never wants to read!
