augustus is a tall and lanky teen with tan skin. he puts a lot of time into skin care, and because of this has very clear skin. he has messy-ish white hair, and small eyes that have blue markings under his eyes that seem to glow when he is feeling a strong emotion. they glow a lot because of how emotional he is. augustus normally wears formal attire that consists of the colores teal, white, and gold. he has a crown that wraps around his head. it is gold with a blue gem. his hair covers some of it, and he has some piercings in his ears. the jewelry he wears is gold as well. he is either smirking or pouting around people, there is no between unless he is alone. for some reason he is the only one in the royal family with the blue markings on his face. personality: augustus is an adventurous prince, who hates sitting in one spot for too long. he loves the outdoors, and cannot stand being told what to do. he tries to act arrogant and overly confident, to hide his own flaws and insecurities. he actually is really emotional and dramatic, compared to how he makes himself look around people who don't know him. he has spent a lot of time alone crying, which he feels helps release stress, etc. he has a slight inferiority complex towards his brother who is going to be the future king. he has always felt like he was in his older brother's shadow, and honestly, he is. the citizens of wintervale could care less about him. of course, they act like they do, but he knows it isn't true.

augustus is a huge flirt, as well as a heart breaker. despite this, when he meets someone that he actually likes, he becomes a lot more shy/timid, and careful with what he says. he has a bit of a temper, and sees almost anything as a challenge towards him.


history: when augustus was born, tensions in the kingdoms were in much better shape. when he turned twelve, things started to become horrible for the kingdoms. ever since he was a toddler, there was clear favoritism towards his older brother who would one day become king. as much as augustus tried to be happy and play, his father insisted that he shouldn't even be allowed to reside in the kingdom despite being his own son. augustus's mother cherished him because of the mistreatment he received daily. she was too afraid to speak up for him though. when he became older, things became worse. his father forced him to train and learn how to fight. his reasoning for this was; "since you're basically useless, you can become a bodyguard for your brother." augustus's brother knew of this mistreatment and never said a thing about it, which caused a growing amount of hatred towards him from augustus. eventually his mother spoke out, and despite his father becoming enraged, things have slowly started to get better.

Kai hates them, because he's always told that he has his mother's eyes. Kai has a slim and athletic build, that can usually be seen through his choice of clothing.

PERSONALITY kai is very fiery and hotheaded. He is temperamental and angry. Kai is stubborn and sarcastic. He swears when frustrated, which is literally always. Kai's real emotions are guarded by a wall of sarcasm, anger and swearing. From a young age, he learned that no one truly cares about you. They may seem to, but in reality; they don't give a damn. He so desperately want's to open up to someone.

HISTORY kai never knew his parents. He never knew the warmth of family. He never knew what it felt like to have someone who is proud of you, and who supports him. Instead, he has the white fang. They took him in, but he was treated as a nuisance from day one. He was forced to do most of the work. When he was old enough, they trained him for battle, and for murder. Kai never wanted any of that. He just wanted a normal childhood. When the high king fell, Kai knew he would never be able to leave the white fang. Ever since then, he has become angrier, realizing he has no future. Kai continues to do their bidding, in hopes that one day he will be able to leave.

Yuki is sweet, kind, and gentle. She can be rather dense and clueless time to time. Yuki can be extremely energetic and a huge handful. Growing up, Yuki's mother constantly was with different men. The first couple didn't really like Yuki, so when she was 6, she learned to close off her heart and put on an act. She would change herself just so her mother's boyfriends wouldn't hate her. Despite her mother's wishes, Yuki visited her father every week. She always loved to hang out with him because she never had to put up an act or pretend to be something she's not. However, when she was about 10, she was visiting him one night, and he just stopped breathing in his sleep. She tried to wake him up, but he never woke from his slumber. A few days later, she buried him under a tree. She took his hat, pocket watch, and his journal and decided to go on an adventure. She left without letting her mother know, for she never wished to return. She became a traveler and did as she pleased for a couple years. She recently joined the rebellion, in hopes to stop white fang.

Wren is a young woman around the age of 23. She has striking shiny black hair that is chopped off right above her shoulders, near her chin. Her eyes are a dark violet shade, despite this, she is a normal human. She has long and dark eyelashes framing her doll eyes. Wren is pretty pale, although it holds a healthy glow. Wren is very tall, and has a fit build. Wren typically wears a white blouse with a black skirt, black stockings and high heeled shoes.

PERSONALITY
Wren is a very prideful woman. She is strong and kind. Yet also very rude and scary. Wren believes that human life is special, and isn't afraid to hurt someone if they think otherwise. She goes through stages of it every day, it's usually worse in the morning when she is the most stressed.

HISTORY
Wren doesn't talk much about her past. Her family was very poor, living off the streets. One day, they were caught stealing and taken to the dungeons. Wren hasn't seen them since. After weeks of living on her own, she was taken in by the previous royal doctor, who became the only father figure in her life. He introduced her to medicine and other things, and she discovered her passion for it. A few years after that, Wren discovered her healing ability. She would help minorly wounded people who came in. Wren never thought she would end up taking the royal doctor's place when he retired. Wren was 19, which is very young, but she obviously had a talent for healing. About two years after she took the position, the previous doctor passed in his sleep. Wren was distraught and wished she could have done something to save him. She vowed to never let another person die.

lucille's parents were both citizens of edinburgh. they were born before the white fang took over, and were ultimately horrified when they did so. when they found out that edinburgh was a part of the legion, her family planned to leave for another kingdom. thankfully, they realized that they weren't really on the side of the white fang, and were only pretending to support their cause. as lucille grew older, it was evident that she was smarter than most of the other kids, but had a much darker side to her. this led her into getting into trouble for bullying throughout her school years. when she turned seventeen, she became fed up with school, as well as her parents who were always on her back about things. she moved out, and eventually established herself as an author. then she finally made the decision to join the white fang. adela's family had been poor ever since she was born. her mother stayed at home, often crying and drinking, while her father worked as a guard at the castle. she was left to do household chores and grocery shopping because her mother couldn't seem to get her life together. one day while shopping for things with the money her father had earned, she found a few adults gambling. wanting to join in on the fun, she did so and bet her father's earnings. adela was a natural. she had earned three times that, and when she came home with the extra money, her mother and father were shocked. this led to her mother taking her to gamble while her father was working. of course her father didn't approve of this, but adela had fun doing it, so he said nothing. this was how her addiction began. eventually, adela started to lose gambling matches, which angered her mother. now, adela is almost an adult, who doesn't have a stable lifestyle. she'll go from being so far into debt that she could get arrested, to being incredibly rich. weapons ; abilities(view spoiler)[hansuke carries multiple knives with him, but tends to rely on his abilities more depending on the situation he's in. he uses gravity magic, and is able to control the gravity of anything he touches. of course, he can't alter the gravity of large objects, but he can do so on people. once he alters something's gravity, he can move it around with a wave of his hand. he can sometimes get out of control, and when this happens objects that he didn't even touch will start flying around at rapid speeds. this can harm him and others, especially if an objects hits someone hard enough. (hide spoiler)] || personality ; history(view spoiler)[hansuke is the type of person who can lose his temper in a matter of seconds, yet still think rationally. he isn't someone you would want to mess with, because he wouldn't hesitate to start a fight in broad daylight. only a few people have dared to irritate him on purpose, and he only lets one person get away with it. despite being a killer he's very sensitive, and will often worry about the families of his targets- especially if they have children. he does his job perfectly, and won't usually complain about it. hansuke is very insecure about his height which is why he wears heeled shoes. if anyone asks about the heeled shoes, his excuse is that they're stylish. hansuke has quite a lot of money as he robs his targets after getting rid of them, so he goes shopping a lot. he is still angry at the white fang for what they did, but doesn't really want to be killed for trying to leave. nor does he want to lose his mentor- even if she did unspeakable things. a meme that would describe him is 'the panicked gay'. he doesn't know how to express the fact that he likes someone, and will either freak out or get super aggressive when put on the spot. hansuke doesn't like to admit it, but he is very clingy and will get attached to others easily. there is a part of himself that he keeps hidden from others. this part of him is very sad- almost pathetic in his opinion, and he'll often think about the people who have left him throughout his life. he is far from forgiving, and will almost never except someone's apology- even if it was over something simple like touching his hat. he hates people touching his belongings, especially the hat he wears. it was his fathers, and now his.

hansuke's father was an avid supporter of the white fang, even if he wasn't a member. he did as much as he could to support them, and because he was wealthy he'd invest a lot of money into this. his mother on the other hand hated the white fang. she didn't like that they were so violent in their ways, and voiced her opinions constantly. this got her killed by a member of the white fang. while hansuke's father supported the white fang, he became very angry after his wife's death. this incident caused him to stop supporting the white fang as he realized that one of their main goals was to cause chaos. he stopped funding them, and got himself killed. hansuke witnessed both of his parent's deaths within the same month. the assassin that killed hansuke's father took him back to the white fang's base. when word caught on about his abilities, the leaders of the white fang decided that hansuke would become an assassin for them whether he wanted to or not. he still held a lot of pent up anger and hatred for the assassin that killed his only family, but the assassin soon became his mentor much to hansuke's dismay. eventually he became close to this mentor, and has been known to visit her for advice often. in fact, she became a second mother. his mentor's name is asano: (view spoiler)[ (hide spoiler)] (hide spoiler)]

asra has soft tufts of snow white hair that lie on his head like a mop. His hair is always messy and unkempt. Meg sometimes puts flowers or clips into his hair. Asra's eyes are a violet shade mixed with a light grey. He has short, dark eyelashes to frame his almond eyes. Asra has a very tan skin tone, due to all the sun exposure he has had. Unlike his sister, who never leaves their shop. Asra is very tall, with a lean, semi muscular figure that is partially hidden due to his choice of clothing.

PERSONALITY asra is generally a very kind and bubbly individual. He is friendly to everyone, and always tries to help everyone as best as he can. Asra is a traveling healer, and also reads tarot cards with his arcana deck. He has a fondness for animals, especially snakes. On the outside, Asra appears very happy, but on the inside, he is full of hatred and anger.

FACTS asra has a pet snake named ki, he is still so angry with his sister but he can't bring himself to hate her.


HISTORY asra was born into a family of tarot readers and psychics. His mother and father owned a shop in the town square of Edinburgh. They lived in the space above the building, where Asra spent most of his childhood. When Asra was five years old, his mother had a daughter. Asra's mother died in childbirth, which caused Asra to despise her.
Many years passed, and Asra began to hate his sister less and less as she grew older. Asra taught her how to use the cards and read people's fortunes, using the crystal ball and such. When Asra was twenty, and his sister was fifteen, their father passed away. Asra closed down the shop and left with his sister, traveling around Ionia. PERSONALITY
naoki is a very interesting man. He is very lazy and unmotivated, yet also very driven and witty. Naoki likes to lock all of his pain away and use humor as a coping mechanism. A huge chunk of himself is missing and that makes Naoki want to stop living. He again, hides all of his suicidal tendencies behind a wall of humor. Naoki feels like he isn't worth living, because of all the bad stuff he's done. Even though he left the white fang, he feels like nothing could make up for all the people that he hurt.

HISTORY
naoki's childhood was one of hatred and cruelty. His mother died during childbirth and his father was disgusted that Naoki shared his ability. He believed Naoki was the cause of his mother's death, so he resented him for years. Naoki was bullied and abused, until one fateful day when he was given an opportunity to escape all of the torment. Naoki had met a member of the white fang, someone who would become his best friend until his untimely demise four years later. Naoki grew evil and power hungry. He hurt people, so many people. Naoki even killed his father. One day, when Naoki and his friend were on a mission, His friend was fatally wounded. He died in Naoki's trembling arms. His last wishes were for Naoki to leave, to stop hurting people. Of course, Naoki obeyed. He changed his ways, despite how difficult it was. After a few weeks, Naoki realized nothing could fill the void that he so desperately tried to fill. He began to realize that he was worthless, he didn't deserve to live anymore. After a few months of pain, he was accepted into a group of people, a rebellion, who became family to him. They tried to help him as best as they could, but alas; Naoki wouldn't listen.
ABILITIES

izanagi didn't have a normal childhood. he didn't know who is parents were, as he grew up in an orphanage. when he was very young playing around with friends, he had thought of how cool his hair would be if it were a totally different color. unsurprisingly, his hair turned emerald green, causing fear to spread through his orphanage. he was an outcast. people feared him, while others enjoyed tormenting him. the owners of the orphanage would turn a blind eye to the other children hurting/bullying him, hoping he'd die, etc. this went on for years. his trust for others slowly dwindled, but one day he met a girl. he was in his early teens, and had freshly joined the rebellion. this girl was a member of the rebellion as well. or so he thought. after becoming very close with this girl, she betrayed his trust. she was a spy for the white fang, and he was wrapped around her finger. things of course, didn't end with a happy ending. she was killed, and he was left with a broken heart and no trust for others. his paranoia began to worsen after this. from being mistreated by the people who he thought were friends, to meeting the 'love of his life' and being betrayed by her, remaining a member of the rebellion was not a good idea. still, he kept at it, insisting that he was fine. Whilst it seems physically impossible for a 19 year old boy growing up in a lower class family in Ionia, Jared seems to have an air of innocence and purity to him. He's grown to be almost sickeningly optimistic about the future, which tends to draw either reactions of pity or anger, the anger often resulting in a bruised- yet still smiling- Jared. It's rare to ever find him with a genuine frown on his face, and it's hard to not smile when in his presence. This being said, he's extremely close to the few friends he has, and it's more common that he'll be sad because they're sad.

While Edinburgh may be the kingdom of wisdom and intelligence, Jared is a bit dim. He's extremely book smart- don't get me wrong- but when it comes to real life situations, he's often left confused. Which is unfortunate, with Ionia being in the situation it's in; Jared's often left in rather uncomfortable and unfortunate scenarios. With this in mind, Jared's extremely trusting, which makes him an easy target for many- however, he's also incredibly awful at keeping secrets.

Jared was born into a lowerclass family in Edinburgh, his spidey senses tinkling as soon as he left the womb. His father was jobless man with one leg too little, and his mother worked as a professor. claire was born in blackridge. she has an older brother, and both of her parents are alive. her father was an adviser to the king for a long time, until he was found committing fraud and arrested. he is in prison at the moment. her mother was and still is an avid supporter of the white fang. she was angry with the kingdom, and when her husband was arrested, this angered her further. she pushed her ideals onto claire and her brother. claire agreed, but her brother didn't. when he became old enough to leave, he joined the rebellion and tried to get claire to leave with him. of course she didn't. during the time her brother was gone, she was home-schooled. the thing is, her mother used her. she trained her in the 'ways of seduction', and taught her how to use her charm, etc. she was a natural born femme fatale. what made her mother somewhat happy was the fact that because claire was homosexual, she wouldn't fall in love with the men she had roped around her finger. claire joined the white fang at a young age, and has become an executive. she holds a lot of power in the white fang now that she has proved herself worthy.

This is surprising, but Dylan can get flustered very easily. Dylan uses foul language a lot, but she knows when to stop so she doesn't go overboard. dylan's family was very rich. Her family served the King and Queen of Blackridge directly, until their untimely demise when Dylan was 10. She got into lots of fights as a child, which gave her a bad reputation. Many people were scared of her, and Dylan took advantage of that. When Dylan was old enough, she joined the White Fang, which was something she dreamed about doing since she was young. Dylan cut her hair and changed everything else about herself after joining. She quickly moved up the ranks, but many of the members were iffy about her.

HISTORY
ryo was born into a family of nobles who worked directly under the high king. From birth, it was decided that Ryo would become one of the king's personal and most trusted guards. Of course, Ryo had no say in any of it, so naturally; Ryo's childhood was pretty shitty. He had little to no freedom whatsoever. Once Ryo was old enough to serve, he was quickly ushered into it by his parents. Ryo ended up being very good at his job, and he ended up making some friends along the way. Of course, when the High King was murdered, everyone thought that it was their fault, so Ryo needed to escape. He tried going to his family, but they tossed him aside like a worthless piece of trash. Ryo had nowhere to go, so he tried hiding in the dark forest. Unfortunately for Ryo, the guards had been following him. He was saved by a mysterious girl named Sophie, who Ryo later became infatuated with. Ryo was able to escape with the help of Sophie, and now he tries his best to stay hidden.

history shigeru's mother and father were definitely not expecting him. after multiple doctors telling her she wouldn't be able to have a child, she did. it was almost a blessing to his mother and father. he ended up being an only child, but he was very spoiled. he didn't let this get to his head, as his parents wouldn't let him. while they were lenient, they worried for him, etc. one day, a family moved into the home next to his. he didn't think much of it, until one night when he heard yelling from out of the window. being the curious young boy he was, he opened it, only to see a boy around his age, maybe older. from that day on, shigeru would be very persistent in trying to be friends with the boy. he already had many friends, so his parents were rather confused when he'd come home upset because the two didn't hit it off immediately. shigeru didn't give up though, and it all payed off in the end. jass and shigeru became friends, after god knows how long he tried.

appearance jae-hwa is at an average height for a male, standing at around 5'9. he has light skin, and almond shaped eyes. his eyes are a shade of dark gray, often filled with little to no emotion. he has dark eyebrows, and one of them has a small scar going through it. his jawline looks as if it could cut through solid diamond, and he usually has a cold expression on his face. jae-hwa suffers from rbf syndrome, making him look angry all the time. he has a toned body, but doesn't flaunt it.

personality jae-hwa, who tries his best to be a nice person is rather blunt, secretive, and cold. this of course stems from his childhood, but no matter how hard he tries to change himself, it doesn't work. he is horrible at holding his tongue, and ends up talking back to superiors, etc. this gets him into more trouble than he'd like to admit.

he's secretive about a lot of things, even information that people should know. all his life he's had a mysterious side about him, but he didn't keep secrets very often. jae-hwa is rather notorious for this among spy masters, and it is a surprise that he is still allowed to work under them. there isn't much of a reason as to why he keeps so many secrets. it could possibly be that he is looking out for himself, as he was raised on ideals like that. his loyalty to the rebellion is often questioned, but those who are close to him know that he would never side with the white fang.

as nice as jae-hwa tries to be, he comes off as cold and aloof. he rarely smiles, and most people haven't even heard his laugh. which is angelic, by the way. he does have a lot of friends and contacts, that he will often without shame, use for information.

jae-hwa looks good, and he knows it. he often uses his looks to his advantage, which tends to get him into sticky situations. sometimes people will be upset that he used them, and other times, they become too pushy with him. he despises being harassed by people who think he's interested, but he can endure such things up to some point as long as he gets information out of it. jae-hwa often pushes himself past his limit, seemingly never taking breaks from work. he takes job after job, despite being told he should rest. he also knows full well that nobody will protect him in his line of work. someone please make the poor boy take a vacation.

history jae-hwa's history is rather tragic, but most members of the rebellion have gone through similar, if not worse events. his mother was a member of the white fang before she met his father. of course their ideals clashed, but his mother eventually left the white fang for his father. they lived a peaceful life for a while, until the white fang became suspicious of her. after giving birth to jae-hwa, the family thought their life was going to be perfect. they definitely didn't expect two white fang members to come knocking on their door. unknowingly, his mother opened the door, only to get stabbed. jae-hwa was only a toddler then, and he was curious. he went down stairs to see what his mother was doing, only to find her bleeding out on the floor. the perpetrators had fled, leaving jae-hwa alone with his now dying mother. he was devastated of course, and despite his mother (who was literally bleeding out) trying to calm him, he couldn't stop crying. eventually his father came home to this terrible sight. jae-hwa who had passed out from all the crying, and his wife who was dead on the floor. his father didn't know what to do. eventually, he became useless. he quit work, and barely took care of himself. if jae-hwa didn't take matters into his own hands, he would be dead. he stole, begged, etc until he could get an official job. he has had to escape multiple times to get away from dangerous people and while he doesn't have a vendetta against the white fang, he doesn't agree with their ideals in the first place. when he joined the rebellion he decided to become a spy. he continuously immerses himself in work.

etc jae-hwa's abilities allow him to know when someone is lying. this ability is rather valuable in blackridge, and the spy force. he keeps a few knives on him. he has gone through some extensive combat training, in case something happens while working.

She is a very pale woman, with an ashen skin tone. Buni has a heart-shaped face, which is framed by her hair. She has very light, pink-ish rose almond-shaped eyes, framed with ridiculously long eyelashes. Buni has small lips with an accentuated cupids bow. She usually slathers her lips in either a dark red or black shade. Her nose is small and thin, also very pointed. Her cheekbones aren't very defined, but she has a very sharp jawline that could probably cut butter. She has many scars that litter her body, but the most prominent is a burn scar in the middle of her chest. Buni's hair is very long, and very dark. Her hair is very soft and silky, even in prison; she manages to keep it neat. Buni's voice is low with a slight accent to it. She curses a lot, but is trying to stop.

PERSONALITY
Overall, Buni is a huge binch. She is cruel towards everyone and hates most people. Buni despises everyone, and can't bring herself to trust anyone anymore. Despite (technically) still being a member of the White Fang, Buni hates them as well. Buni used to be very sassy and sarcastic until the 'incident happened'. Buni feels no affection towards anyone anymore. The only thing she feels is anger. Anger towards Ionia.


FACTS buni's name is pronounced like "Bunny";Buni has special handcuffs that prevent her from using her ability.


HISTORY
buni was born into the white fang. Her mother and father were members, although her mother was higher ranked than her father. Buni learned of her abilities at a very young age. When she was 7, she was allowed to go on very minor missions with her father, which eventually sparked her need to stay in the White Fang after her parents retired. Buni climbed the ranks due to her many years in the White Fang. She was feared by all of the lower members, and that brought joy to Buni. Buni was doing very well, although she had one rule. Don't get close to anyone. People hurt people, and Buni was doing just fine until he came along. Buni didn't show affection, but she had fallen hard for him until he betrayed her. He had gotten her imprisoned in Darkwater, Ionia's high security prison. She is currently locked up in maximum security.
ABILITIES
buni has the ability to manipulate her own blood, and the blood of others. She can't die from blood loss, and her body heals wounds very quickly.

lana is typically a nice person. She might not seem like it, due to her hard exterior. Lana has built up a wall of seriousness and harshness to protect others and herself. Lana is alright with being alone, but she desperately wishes for friends even if she doesn't show it.


FACTS every time lana removes a memory from someone, a fraction of it goes into her own memories, thus causing her to be stuck with horrible memories; every few years when it gets to where lana cannot handle it, she wipes parts of her memories away; lana keeps all of her own memories locked up in a chest under her bed; lana keeps the rest in vials.


HISTORY
when Lana was 15 years old, she wiped her memories completely and placed them into an old ale bottle and locked it away in a chest. After a few years, Lana realized that she could use her abilities to help people. She had little money and was far too young to open up a shop, so Lana began to travel Ionia in search of people that wanted to forget. A few years passed again, and Lana couldn't handle the memories anymore. Her head was swarming with horrible things, and she had no more room to contain vials. Lana had collected just enough money to purchase a small shop, and so she did. Lana quickly set up shop in Falkhaven. After one month, Lana couldn't take it anymore. She erased most of her memories and placed them into another bottle, locking that one into the chest. Lana repeats this process every few years.

elanor tends to appear aloof and off putting, but she is actually a very nice person once you get to meet her. she tends to observe others, remaining quiet in most social situations. she's very opinionated, and rarely likes to admit when she's wrong about something. elanor has a certain air about her. despite having a shady background, she holds herself with dignity. most people respect her, while some despise her. if elanor dislikes someone, she'll make it obvious by being aggressive towards them. she does pack a punch, but rarely fights. elanor prefers to use her words more than her fists.

elanor was born in blackridge, and raised in falkhaven when she turned thirteen. for the first thirteen years of her life, she was dependent on no one. she had to do things for herself, and turned to thievery simply to survive. life was hard for her during these years. her father, a shady con-man hated by all, and her mother an innocent young woman. the two of them abandoned her like trash, and parted their own separate ways. elanor, who was young and naive at the time would sit there waiting for someone to come back. of course, this didn't happen. at least, not when she expected it to. she made a few friends while living on the streets of blackridge- despite the bad rep blackridge got, not everyone there was horrible. she eventually found herself at an orphanage, forgetting about her original family. the friends she had made were all she needed. at twelve years old, she was one of the few children at the orphanage soon to be a teenager. her fate was already decided for her. nobody would want to adopt a child so old- often, people preferred to adopt younger children. or so she thought. when she turned thirteen, elanor was adopted by a family that was moving to falkhaven. they weren't necessarily rich, but they were well off. life was great. she missed her friends, for sure, but she doesn't regret anything.

hotaru is an attractive male, with looks that could be compared to the cliche prince stereotype. except, he's far from a prince. his short almost choppy blond hair is a bit messy, despite trying his best every day to comb it down. hotaru's golden-yellow eyes are almost mesmerizing, seemingly sparkling all of the time. he stands at a height of 6'3, being taller than most people.

hotaru comes off as a happy go lucky spirit, who doesn't get angry. this isn't the case though, he has many flaws, despite trying to be a good person. he is a hard worker, supporting his family by working. he's used to not getting recognized for things, mainly because of his large family. hotaru tries his best to give advice to others, but is oblivious to when it is bad. he's rather cocky when he's with those close to him. it's hard to tell if he's joking around, or if he's really that confident, though. he loves nature, often finding himself in the palace gardens. he is a very loyal companion, and despises seeing his friends upset. hotaru is rather flirtatious, even if he isn't trying to be.

hotaru's family was pretty normal- they lived in northstar, with an average home. his mother worked as a maid in the palace, and his father was a blacksmith. he has two older siblings, one male and one female. with three children, it was a struggle to get by, but they made do. his sister became a servant like his mother, and his brother joined the military. it was devastating when he did so yes, but he receives letters from his older brother often. hotaru tried several different jobs, rarely enjoying them. it was hard for him to enjoy what he did, which was what he cared about most. eventually, he decided to work as a servant. with his personality and looks, people were surprised with this decision. hotaru on the other hand, loved it. he enjoyed working, and has met many different people while doing so.

with his gold, catlike eyes, isao is already a bit intimidating looking. his naturally indifferent, almost annoyed expression doesn't help either. despite this, he's a small boy. he is rather petite and thin, standing at a whopping 5'6. he has little to no muscle on him, but he's pretty agile, as well as flexible. his hair reaches his chin, with his roots being a dark brown, while the rest of his hair is blonde. his thin eyebrows are dark, matching his roots. isao has a really nice smile, although he doesn't do so often. he's either scowling, or looking indifferent- usually, there's no in between.

isao has always had a hard time making friends. with his hot headed nature and his seemingly irritable personality, people rarely wanted to associate with him. so, he tends to be a bit of a loner. of course, isao does yearn to have friends, maybe someone to be affectionate with, but there's another problem he has. expressing emotions is hard for him. inside, he's very nice. yet, when trying to compliment people or even say hi, he comes off as an asshole. he doesn't know why, but he hates it. isao is surprisingly really innocent, and a tad bit naive. he doesn't really like being outside, but being cooped up in one place for too long is uncomfortable for him. isao, despite being very nonathletic loves to walk. it releases any stress he has, and is overall very calming. isao is rather impulsive, often acting without thinking. he's pretty smart normally, but when he's angry it's as if he can no longer think clearly. which is true, of course.

isao was born in wintervale, as an only child. he and his mother did fine there, until she met a male from blackridge. he was apparently a noble visiting wintervale, but this was an obvious lie, at least to isao. he tried to convince his mother that it was a lie. that she was being tricked, but the male had wooed her. their relationship was rushed, and overall he had a bad feeling about it. somehow, the male convinced isao's mother to move to blackridge. with the promise of living a nice life there, and being protected. isao was pissed. it was insane, yet his mother went along with it. around a year later, he found himself in blackridge, knowing nothing, and nobody. the only person he had was his devastated mother. shortly after moving, the man left her. abandoning isao and his mother in a kingdom they were completely unfamiliar with.

even with her tall height, katherine still doesn't make much of an impression on people. the first thing people notice about her is her blue eyes, filled with emotion. she has long blonde hair that reaches her lower back, and ivory skin. she often carries a large satchel with her, as she is a messenger.

katherine is a very selfless and kind, but due to this people take advantage of her. she doesn't mind it though, as she doesn't like to upset others. she tends to feel like a burden towards others, and only has a few friends. one of which, is a member of the white fang. she is very neutral with the rebellion and the white fang, but works as a messenger for the latter. she is very timid, and could never harm anyone, so she does other things.

katherine's parents were both white fang members, which is why she is as well. they expected the most out of her, and tried to train her into an assassin. this didn't work very well, as she was incredibly timid at birth. upset with this, katherine's parents were very neglectful. some of the more nurturing white fang members pitched into help, but they had their own jobs to do. she was alone for a long time, until she met a boy a few years older than her. in a way, their situations were very similar. somehow, despite having completely different personalities, the two clicked. Niko has many scars, although the most prominent ones are on his neck. He has incredibly sharp teeth as well.

PERSONALITY
Niko is very hotheaded. Even the slightest things can set him off. Niko is very cold and tends to stay away from most people. Friends and lovers are pointless in his opinion. He is incredibly rude to everyone, even the people who are kind to him. Niko gets flustered very easily, although he feels little to no emotion most of the time. It's not like Niko cant feel emotion, he just believes that he doesn't deserve to feel any.

He chose to reside in a small home in Falkhaven, although Niko travels around Ionia, searching for possible victims.

satoshi is a tall, almost lanky male. he isn't ridiculously muscular, but he does have nice looking legs. he has pale, blemish free skin, and two piercings just below his lips. his eyes are slanted upwards, and he has short eyebrows. he keeps his hair parted to the right, so his bangs are swept neatly to the left of his face. satoshi's hair is an almond brown, and is incredibly soft. his ears are pierced, and his lips are often a red color due to biting them a lot.

satoshi is the type of person who's incredibly rude and annoying, yet you can't get enough of him. basically to sum it all up, he's skinny, he's rich, and he's a little bit of a bitch. satoshi looks good- he knows it. being a(n) (half) incubus helps lure people to him, and he lives for it. he know's what can get people riled up- a small touch there, a bite of his lips there, he knows it all. satoshi keeps it a secret that he's a(n) (half) incubus, a gay one at that, but it's kind of obvious. there's an odd aura about him that screams "something's off about me". he openly flirts with anyone, enjoying being a tease. on the other hand, satoshi can get flustered easily. he usually makes the first move, and expects for other people to accept it. he isn't used to people making the first move, and if he's actually into them, he'll get super flustered. satoshi is ridiculously sassy, unable to bite back any remarks. he's an emotional mess, often insulting someone and then bursting into tears. he's the type to angry cry, and often can't stop himself from doing so. he doesn't really know or believe in true love as he's used to dating around with people, only lasting a few months at most. satoshi knows what it's like to be used- he's grown accustomed to it, but tries his best to stay away from people who'd even think of using him. there's a small part of him that is rather sad, but it rarely comes out if ever. this side is far from 'emotional', and is more contemplative.
