It was remarkable. Mrs. Evans was a formidable woman and the fact that she really had nothing to lose gave her the power to stand up for what was right.
I was shocked that she made the decision. It might have been easier for a grandmother than the mother but it was still very brave of Mrs. Evans. Turned out well.
