2. How are names significant in the novel?
3. Ransom is a professor of philology. Why is this significant? In what ways is this a book about language and communication?
4. The novel deals with several Christian concepts. Which ones and how to Lewis deal with them?
5. What does this novel have to say about Humanity?
6. The narrative is centered on Ransom, but it is a document presented by an unnamed narrator. Why do you think Lewis frames the story in this way?
