About halfway through this. Not at all what I expected, but so far, so good. (Not sure what I expected... I guess I didn’t know it takes place in our modern world.)

I am almost in the middle of it. I was hoping for more witchcraft and less romance, but I'm enjoying it. It's very easy to read.

Halfway through it, and unless the tempo picks up, I know I won't be reading the rest of the series.

We have a damsel in distress, that insists she's not a damsel in distress (ou-kay, then), we have the forbidden love that the world is against but the star-crossed lovers are determined, we have the mysterious pasts of all the characters, we have the unmasked infodumps.

So far, not impressed.
