Yup! This is the book that was based on the movie.. or rather, this was the book that that the movie was based after.
Either way.. it was a great book. Frank Abagnale is a genius con. Some of the tricks he did in this book were unbelievable.

Crumb, from what I read, much of the book was exaggerated or fabricated. The premise is true, but not all of the story is. I was disappointed to learn this. Let me know if you find anything to the contrary.
