William Hayashi | 2 comments Conception continues the saga of William Hayashi's Darkside Trilogy, telling the story of those African Americans discovered living on the backside of the Moon in Discovery: Volume 1 Of The Darkside Trilogy.

The Story begins with a Black graduate student's counter intuitive discovery in gravitational research in the early 1960s.

His discovery makes fulfilling a dream he and his best friends in high school had of finding a place where they could live out their lives without the deprivations of a prejudiced America.

Over several decades the high school friends manage to master the technologies needed to not only travel into space, but build a hidden, underground home under the lunar surface.

From their hidden community, those specially-selected residents watch in humor as the Apollo 11 mission lands the first men on the moon; at least the first white men!

Confrontation introduces the reader to the extraordinary people who not only have the vision to live off the planet Earth, but also design and build the technology necessary to accomplish the task.

Conception sets the table for the final installment of the trilogy, Confrontation, due out in the fall of 2014.
