Does he ever! I finished a couple of weeks ago, and I have yet to formulate a review. It is one of those books that lingers in the mind.
Although it's a little late, some of you might be interested in listening to this podcast on Moby Dick.It is put out by BBC Radio 4 for In Our Time. It's an interesting discussion of MD and addresses Melville's influences and digressive nature of the narrative.

I should mention for those of you unfamiliar with the In Our Time podcast that it doesn't actually end when the host thanks his guests. So stay tuned because what follows is a discussion about what the guests would have liked to include in the podcast. Some of the most interesting points emerge after the podcast has officially concluded. It doesn't officially end until the producer comes in asking if the guests would like tea or coffee.

Great discussion Tamara. Thanks for passing it along. I listened to it twice. The second time with some tea.
