He nodded and started writing on a new parchment. He actually tried this time.

She grabbed it and yawned. She skimmed over it and decided it was perfect. She nodded and handed it back to him. She yawned again and fell back to sleep.

Lily dreamed of their first kiss. She mumbled and crossed her arms, still asleep.

Lily's eyes fluttered open when he missed her cheek. When he moved her head, she fully woke up and said, "Well thank you, David, but I was going to sleep in my bed. We have early class tomorrow." She said, smiling and getting up. "Not that I didn't enjoy that dream." She said, walking towards her dorm.

Lily was extremely nervous when she heard that David was coming over for a Christmas party. Her mum was doing her hair nice and pretty. Once she was finished, Lily told her thanks and put her lipstick on. "Mum, when you and Dad were dating, did you ever go over to each other houses for Christmas?" she asked curiously. "Yes, sweetie. We went over tons of times. Since I was dad's best friend's sister, he went over to the Burrow tons of times." She said dreamily.

David smiled as they were huddled around the portkey. "This is gonna be great." Neville nodded. "Yeah." Luna smiled. "Harry and Ginny are so nice," she said dreamily

Lily finished her makeup and headed out of the bathroom so the rest of the family could use it. Her dad was outside the hallway and saw her and stopped. "Who are you and what have you done to Lily Luna Potter?" he joked. She smiled. "Dad, you've seen me with makeup on, haven't you?" she asked. Her dad shook his head. "No, remember last Christmas, when Ron poked you in the eye with his wand? I had on foundation and lipstick, but that was it. Mum said I should put the full face on this time." She said, walking towards her dad.

The portkey started glowing. "Hands on," Neville said and they put there hands on it. There was a flash, and they were standing outside the potters house. Neville went and knocked on the door, knocking over a pot on the way. Luna smiled and repaired it.

Lily heard a knock at the door and literally ran to the front door, almost tripping on her heels. Hopefully, it was David and not Ron's family, not that she wasn't excited for his family. She opened the door to find Neville, and her heart jumped. She hugged Neville before anything else.

Neville hugged her back. "You look great," he said before going into the house. Luna smiled and waved as she went by. It left David standing there smiling at her. "You look beautiful."

Lily realized she was hugging Neville and pulled away. "Sorry" she muttered, and waved back to Luna. When she heard David, the door shut behind her. She jumped and landed really close to David. "Oh, gosh, I'm a mess right now!!!! First I hug your dad thinking he's you and then I fall into you like this!!!" she said, scooting away a bit.
