David smiled sadly as she walked away. It would never work again because of him. He messed everything up and now that he'd lost her he saw everything about her that he'd liked. The easy smile. The friendly voice. Everything.

David nervously walked towards the library where he knew lily would be after talking to her earlier. He opened the door and walked inside. Seeing her, he sat down beside her. "Hey," he whispered,

Lily walked of and silently danced in the empty hallway. She had been wanting a date to the dance forever, and now her and David were together again. Everything was absolutely perfect.

Lily skipped the rest of the way to her dorm and told Rose all about it. She went to sleep happy that night.
