Lily stood on her tiptoes and gave her dad a kiss on the cheek. She hugged her mom. "I'll write to you everyday!!!!" she said, smiling. She joined her brothers on the train. She found one of the only empty compartments with boy inside. She and her brothers filed in quickly. "Hope you don't mind? Everywhere else is full." she said, sitting down. "I'm Lily! Lily Potter." she said, holding out her hand.

"Yes, we are. This is Albus and James." she said. Her brother both waved and smiled a Weasly smile. "Oh your not going to tease him because he's Neville's kid are you? Neville was fun when he came over for Christmas parties. Now it's professor Longbottom" she said, rolling her eyes.

"Well, they way my dad tells the story, Neville is the hero. Sure my dad destroyed the dark lord, but Neville destroyed the final horcrux." she said, getting out a newspaper. It was the one made right after the final battle. She always kept a copy of that one on her at all times. Her mum had given it to her when she was 5.

"I'm pretty sure Uncle Ron has his card!!!" she said, smiling. Uncle Ron always collected chocolate frog cards. "I think We're going to find our cousins. Bye sis!!" James said, smiling and giving a look to his brother. They both got up and out the car.

"No, not really. Course, everybody is probably going to stare at me when my name is called, but I'm very nice and friendly. That has to count for something, right?" she asked. Her parents had always told her get good friends and good grades. God knows what would happen if she took after Draco malfoy, that slimeball. ((I'm dealing with a Doctor Who fan who doesn't know what Fantastic means. oh gosh...))

"Oh yes, I love Quidditch!!!!!!!!!!! My mom's captain of the Holyhead Harpies!" she said, smiling.
"Well, I go to my mom's practice and they lend me a broom. I can catch a snitch in under thirty minutes and I'm fantastic at keeper. I probably wont make the house team. Albus says they already let James in as the last player, and none of the players last year were overage." she sighed.

"Yeah. He did let me ride it once, but now he lets James use it. James is over protective of it. I completely understand, it being the last one." She said, looking out the window

"Gryffindor. Both my brothers are there and my cousins are there too. I guess Hufflepuff would be okay though." She said. What ever house she was in, she hoped he was in it. Luna was very nice and Neville was the most fantastic overage she had ever met.

"Well, Ravenclaw usually studies their books and barely pays attention to other people. Luna is the only one I've seen who actually has sort of a un-Hermione like aura other than Cho. I think Gryffindor would be best. Plus, the hat takes your choice into accommodation. Dad taught me that." She said.

"Yeah. If you just say you want Gryffindor then you'll probably get it. Me being myself I probably will get Gryffindor. That does mean no playing Redditch, but I can always practice with James. He always likes to have people in the stands when he's on the field." She said, looking into his eyes. ((can we like, skip ahead to third year and then they can start dating? I mean, their 11!!!))
((Or maybe He just doesn't get flying and during Luke a free period or something Lily is teaching him.))
Lily walked on the field with her broom in hand. She had Quiditch practice right after this, so she had her robes for that on. She mounted her broom and threw a golf ball high into the air. She kicked off and caught it quickly. Even if James was the seeker, she still liked to practice it. She was the keeper. She wondered when David would get here.

Lily saw David out of the corner of her eye. She quietly flew around the pitch until she was right behind him. She yelled behind him, "BOO!!".

Lily started laughing. "Gotcha!!!!! So, ready for pre-practice session?" she asked, looking straight at those beautiful eyes she had a crush on. She wasn't even sure he took her that seriously, when they had only known each other for three years.

Lily kicked off. She flew next to him. "If you keep thinking like that, you'll never make the team. Now," she put her hair up in a ponytail,"I'm going to throw the quaffle and you catch it and try and score on me. I'm not going to go easy because I'm not supposed to go easy at the try-outs." She said, zooming off to the goals.

Lily shifted a bit towards the left but then realized a split second before he threw he was going for the right one. She drove for it and took it down. She came up five seconds later with a ball in her hand. "Try that one again, and it won't work" she said, raising her eyebrows. She threw the ball again, farther.
