      We live in rural America so it is not unusual to see wild animals. We have had just about everything that is native here in our yard. The last thing I saw was our neighbors dog chasing a fox.

Gosh .. just look at my tbr with thousands of titles. But I recently FINALLY read The Yearling which I first heard about when I was in about 6th grade ....
I think the next oldest that's been hanging around the edges for ages is Up the Down Staircase which I first heard of in high school (sometime in the mid '60s).
