Ed Erwin I recently read Clockwork Futures: The Science of Steampunk and the Reinvention of the Modern World, which is not about steampunk fiction, but rather about the people and things that inspired it. Tesla and Edison are among those people.

The author doesn't mention very many steampunk books, actually, but does mention The Five Fists of Science and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen, Vol. 1.
