[Gemma]

Juni

He looks at me and smiles, sipping his beer. He tells me I go straight for the hard question but he likes that about me. He tells me he has courted two girl in his entire life, had a friends with benefits here and there but he's clean and has good recommendations in his resume.

"That is." I say with a little laugh. "I had one boyfriend. Total asswipe but I was young and dumb. No one else since then and I'm clean as well." I tell him and add. "On birth control too if you are curious."

Leo

I kind of growled under my breath. To think she’s had such a bad experience with love and relationship is sickening. She’s obviously a great girl that deserves way more. She of course tells me that she’s on the pill if I was interested. I almost coughed out my beer when she said that.

“Woah um June I like you a lot. But... I don’t want you to think that I’m some alpha dog and that I’m like your ex... I don’t want you to think I’m taking advantage of you.”

Juni

I chuckle as he about chokes on his beer. He tells me he likes me a lot but he doesn't want to think that he is some alpha dog and that he's like my ex. I roll my eyes a little.

"Please, my ex was an ass. He just wanted to be with me because I was the freaky girl with a weird element. Hell his friends dared him to date me." I explain. "You don't seem to be anything like that."

I grin and lean forward on the tables. "Besides maybe I want to take advantage of you? Ever think about that, hot stuff. I mean you are drool worthy to look at. All the girls at the station about swoon when you go work out at the station gym." I say playfully.

[RED]

Leo

She notes that a lot of women in the station swoon when they see me working out. And she isn’t wrong but then again everyone is careful not to be involved with another detective. In our line of work we like someone that will wake up the next morning without a bullet in their head.

“Well to be fair I’m not the only one that works out there. Sean also works out very shirtless if I may add.” I tell her and smiled at the way she was teasing me before I leaned into her as well.

Juni

"Yeah but Sean is more the pretty boy type. You are the more rugged bad boy type. Not my words. One of the new interns say it." I say with a laugh as he smiles.

I take a bite of my pizza and smile a little bit. "Besides I'm not interested in Sean."

[RED]

Leo

I looked at her and just smiled a little at her when she tells me that I’m more of a bad boy than a pretty boy cop. I laugh a little and just sat back on the chair and just took a long sip of my beer.

“Well it’s good to know that you are actually physically attracted to me. Even if I was a moody angry detective in your eyes.” I taunt her back.

Juni

I roll my eyes as he taunts me. "You're hot there is no denying that but your were a real grumpy face. Figured there was no point in trying since you didn't seem to like me." I tell him and Watson hops up into my lap.

I stroke his head with my free hand as I finish my second slice of pizza.

[RED]

Leo

I nod my head completely agreeing with her that I was a bit rough around the edges. “Well hopefully I can make it up to you for being such a grumpy face as you so politely pointed out for me.” I tell her and I just reached out to lightly comb Watson’s fur and he let me. That’s a good thing.

[Gemma]

Juni

He nods and says that hopefully he can make it up to me. He reaches over to comb Watson's fur and he lets him. He stares at Leo unsure if he liked him or not.

"Well hopefully you can." I say playfully and add. "You're off to a good start though." Watson meows and jumps over into Leo's lap and pokes him with his paw a little.

Leo

I looked at her and just gave her a smile when she tells me that I’m making a good start. I looked back at Watson and just smiled when he poked at me. I scratched at his scruff and just looked back at his master.

“I’ll keep working at gaining your trust and perhaps have you like me a little more?”

[Gemma]

Juni

He smiles and looks at Watson before he scratches his scruff, looking back at me. He tells me he'll have to keep working at gaining my trust and perhaps have me like him a little more.

"Mmm maybe. I mean I already kind of liked you but like I said I thought you were a grumpy face who didn't like me." I tell him and clean up my plate. "Want another slice or another beer?"

Cora

“Wow single mom. Sounds like you’re really must be attached to your mother. I think you’re really sweeet and caring of the people you love. That’s a really good qualities.” I told him and just smiled a little bit at him.

I reached my hand out to him and just held him to mine. “Well what else can you tell me on the family department.”

[Gemma]

Sean

"Yea, growing up I was her right hand. She had to work a lot so I took care of Eric." I tell her and smile as she tells me that she thinks I am really sweet and caring of the people I love. That those are good qualities.

She reaches out to hold my hand and asks what else I can tell her about my family. "Well I have a five year old cousin. She is the cutest thing. Going through a princess phase too. Wears this little princess dress everywhere she goes."

Cora

“That’s really nice. Before my mom met the captain we’ve only had one another. No family. No friends. Having an elemental daughter that could be in the watch lists.” I explained to him and just took a sip of the wine and looked at him again.

“Anyway why don’t we get to the juicy things. Have you had any girls in your life?” I asked him.

[Gemma]

Sean

I nod a little hearing that she grew up with just her mom and her since having an elemental daughter that could be in the watch lists. "Yeah, I know the feeling. It's rough having an elemental kid. I was always good at hiding it so I wouldn't cause trouble for my mom."

I blush a little as she just straight out asks me about the girls in my life. "Well I don't really have one in my life at the moment. I did have a girlfriend back in high school but we broke up when I went away to college. Been busy with work since." I tell her.

"What about you? Any guys in your life?"

Cora

I looked at him curiously when he starts talking about only one ex girlfriend. My head was tilted to the side a bit when the waiter came wirh our order.

“So I don’t understand you’re very attractive and sweet. How on earth are you not able to find girls that might want to attract you to them?” I asked him. He was the ying to Leo’s yang you can completely tell that.

Leo

She looks at me surprised as she tilts her head to the side. She tells me she doesn't understand that how on earth was I not finding any girls. I blush a little and sip my wine to hide it.

"Well it wasn't so much that I wasn't able to find girls. I was just so focused on work and helping my family that I just never really paid much attention to it." I tell her.

Cora

I nodded my head noticing the blush in his cheeks when I started smiling a lot. “And then I came into the picture. With these sparks that are driving us towards each other.” I whispered to him when I reached out to him and held his hand in mine. Feeling those exquisite sparks just igniting when our skin touches.

“I can understand why you’re hesitant of me in the beginning.” I explained to him.

Sean

She nods her head and whispers that then she came into the picture with these sparks that are driving us towards each other. She reaches out for my hand again and tells me she can understand why I was hesitant of her in the beginning.

"Yeah, still didn't give me the right to be an ass." I say rubbing the back of my neck. "Really sorry about that. It's just your the first girl in a while that I really felt drawn too and I guess I didn't handle it well."

Cora

I shake my head but give him a playful smile for a bit. “No no it’s fine. I mean you were just an ass because you’ve never felt this. I mean.... I think I was a little too much of a romantic when I met you at the station. I thought that fate brought us together.” I whispered to him blushing a little when he rubs the back of his neck.

“You do that a lot. You rub your neck whenever you’re being vulnerable or nervous.” I tell him

Sean

She shakes her head and gives me a playful smile. She tells me it is fine and that I was an ass because I never felt like this. That she also might have come on too strong since she thought fate had brought us together.

"Oh, I never noticed." I say as she points out that I rub my neck when I'm being vulnerable or nervous. "I guess I do." I say with a laugh.

Cora

I looked back at him and smiled when he tells me he never noticed and I laugh a little thinking it was really cute. “Alright then in that case it’s your turn. To pin point a tell tale sign on me. If you can’t in that case I suggest we go to Vegas after we solve this case.” I said to him smiling. When I took a bite out of the pasta bowl.

Sean

She tells me in that case it is my turn to pin point a tell tale sigh on her. If I can't then she suggests she we go Vegas after the case is over. I look at her surprised and chuckle.

"Why Vegas?" I ask her as our food as served and we dig in.

Cora

“Well if we all go at the casinos as a group it’ll be easier for me to go play poker and read the players so that I can have the upper hand.” I tell him and just smiled a little bit and just drank a bit of my wine.

“So come on my little detective. Show me what you got, analyze me.” I winked at him playfully

Sean

I shake my head chuckling at her answer to my question. "Well I never took you as a gambler." I say thinking it was kind of cute of her. She winks she asks me to show her what I've got.

"Well I noticed when you are thinking, you bite you lip and your brow furrows a little bit. You get this look in your eye too. It is kind of cute."

Cora

I chuckle a little and just shrug my shoulders. “I am not a gambler but I do know how to have a good time in different scenarios. I’m just good at poker or casinos because a lot of my targets are men that enjoy they’re pastime in casinos.” I explained to him when he tells me a little of my tales.

“Well I am impressed by your initial response of analysis towards me. I figured with me disappearing a lot on you it would be difficult for you to do so.”

Sean

She chuckles and tells me she isn't a gambler but she does know how to have a good time in different scenarios. She tells me she is impressed by my initial response of analysis towards her. She figured with her disappearing a lot on me it would be difficult for me to do so.

"Yea, I just picked up little things I noticed no really anything big." I tell her with a little smile.

Cora

“Oh well... I’ll try to not disappear too often. I can tell that it gets tiring trying to keep up with me:” I winked at him playfully before I relaxed a little more with him. It was nice to just unwind and disconnect from our world for a brief moment.

“So aside from being a detective. I’ve heard rumors with the female workers in your offices. They think you and Leo are a thing, when did you two met?”

Sean

She tells me she will try to not disappear too often and that she can tell that it gets tiring trying to keep up with her. I chuckle a little we a nod. "It is a little tiring when I have to try and track you down."

I look at her surprises as she bring up Leo and me. "What?!? I mean we are buds but not a thing." I tell her. "I have known him since I started at the station four years ago. We were both rookies and got paired up together."

Cora

I smiled a little when he seemed to be flustered when I called him and Leo a thing. “I am sorry that I just brought that up out of the blue. I know it’s rather odd but you know I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t invading into any Love triangle.” I tell him and just reached out and held his hand

“But hey... it’s just a question. With the kiss you gave me it just showed me that this girls are wrong.”

Sean

She smiles and tells me she is sorry she brought that up out of the blue. That she knows it’s rather odd but she just wanted to make sure she wasn’t invading into any love triangles.

"Nope, Leo and I are just buddies." I tell her and chuckle as she adds the kiss I gave her showed her those girls were wrong. "Well I am glad you think so." I say with a smile.

Cora

I chuckled and just bit my lip a little realizing that the more i talked to him. The more i loved hearing him and learning from him. I reached out to him and took his hand in mine. Letting my fingers lace together with his.

"You were an ass in the beginning detective, but... I feel myself starting to like you even more." I tell him

Sean

She chuckles and bits her lip a little. she reaches out and laces out fingers together. She tells me that I was an ass in the beginning but she feels herself starting to like me even more.

I smile and squeeze her hand softly. "I'm glad that I didn't ruin my chance with you." I say glad she was starting to like me because I was really starting to like her too.

Cora

I smiled at him just feeling myself blush when he tells me that he is pretty glad that he didn't ruin his chances with me. I guess he was pretty close to although... I have no idea how i would've stopped myself from just jumping him with that spark we have.

"So now we should address the elephant in the room... my father." I tell him cautiously but i still didn't let go of his hand.

"I know that you worked hard to be a detective but my father is not petty enough to kick you out or anything."

Sean

I sigh as she brings up the captain, her father. She tells me her father isn't petty enough to kick me out or anything. I squeeze her hand softly and rub my thumb along her hand as I think.

"I know. I'm just worried since I would be dating my boss's daughter. I just don't want to screw thing up with him because he as been really good to me and I respect him a lot. I won't be where I am today without him." I tell her.

Cora

I arched my eyebrow when he called us dating and I was momentarily happy but I didn’t want to show it. I had to be prudent and I just waited patiently when I just let out a sigh.

“Well first of all. I am flattered that you’re saying that we’re daying. Second I understand and I agree that it makes sense for us to tread lightly, so I’m not going to go to HR and be all like I’m with this man. And I’m certainly not going to tell my father about us yet.”

[Gemma]

Sean

She let's out a little sigh and tells me she is flattered that I said we are dating. I blush a little not even noticing I did that. She adds she understands and it makes sense for us to tread lightly.

"Thank you for understanding." I say with a smile and draw her hands to my lips. "It means a lot."

[RED]

Cora

I feel those sparks again when he kissed my hand and I’m just drawn to him like a moth to a fire. I don’t know why I needed him so much but I really did.

“No of course. I don’t want any hurdles that are going to potentially harm what we’re trying to discover. As much as I love my father there’s times and places for everything.” I whispered to him and blushed.

“Besides you still have to work on leaving me breathless.” I winked at him

Sean

She tells me of course not and she doesn't want any hurdles that are going to harm what we are trying to discover. I smile as she blushes and wink adding I still have to work on leaving her breathless.

"Well I will glad try to do so." I say playfully. "So... dessert? My treat. This place has some really good desserts." I tell her and add. "Oh and before you try to tell me no or want to split the bill. This meal is on me. Call it my apology for being an ass and a thank you for giving me a second chance."

Cora

“Oh we can try the devils food cake. I’m a real sucker for chocolate.” I tell him confessing another trait of how much of a typical girl I am. I looked up at him when he tells me this is on him. Of course I’m going to object because this is the first time we’re alone. I wasn’t going to not pitch in about something.

“Fine you can pay for dinner but I’m telling you that next time. It’s on me.”

Sean

She tells me we can try the devil's food cake and she is a real sucker for chocolate. "I guess you are in luck since I am a fan of chocolate too." I say with a smile and chuckle as she tells me fine I can pay for dinner but next time it is on her.

"Alright, fair enough." I say and wave down the waiter to order our dessert.

Cora

I chuckled a little when he tells me that he loves chocolate too. I bite my lip when I looked at my glass of wine. “I wonder what other things we can do with chocolate in the future.” I whispered to him. Taking a sip of my wine when the waiter comes takes our order and leaves.

“So after this. Should we call it a night?” I asked him

Sean

She chuckles and bites her lip as she looks at her glass of wine. She whispers she wonders what other thing we can do with chocolate in the future. I look at her with wide eyes and blush as she takes a sip of wine.

The waiter comes over to take our order and asks me if we should call it a night after this. "Probably. We do have work tomorrow after all." I say.

[RED]

Cora

I looked at him and smiled a little when he tells Me we should probably call it a night. That we do have work tomorrow in the morning. Part of me didn’t want the night to end yet. Not when we’re at a good start right now.

“Ummm Okay. You don’t need to drive me back to work for my bike. I went ahead and sent it back home.” I whispered to him and just bit my lip a little when the cake came.

Sean

She smiles a little and tells me okay, that she already sent her bike back to her home. "Well then I'll drive you home. If that is okay?" I tell her and the waiter bring over the cake for us.

I was sad to see the night end went we were starting to go well for us. But I wasn't going to be greedy. I was just glad to get to finally know her a little better.

[RED]

Cora

I bite my lip and nod a bit when he asked if he could just take me home. I was trying to make little bites of the cake. So I could just prolonge a longer moment with him as much as possible. I looked back at him and smiled.

“So tomorrow. I feel confident that we’re growing closer to finding the icyn man. “

[Gemma]

Sean

We both eat our cake taking our time with it. She smiles a little and tells me that tomorrow she feels confident that we are growing closer to finding the guy behind icyn.

"That would be great. The sooner we bust this guy the better." I tell her with a little smile. "Gives us a little more time to do stuff like this too."

[RED]

Cora

I just rolled my eyes a little when he tells me that we will be doing this more often as soon as we solve this case. “You do know that after this case there’s going to be another case and another. Is it to weird to think there’s a possibility to have a life beyond this line of work?” I asked him softly.

[Gemma]

Sean

"I know. But this case isn't one of our normal ones. I mean this one is big for the station." I tell her and chuckle a little at her comment about if it was too weird to think there’s a possibility to have a life beyond this line of work.

"I don't think so. I mean I'd like to have a life outside of work. Just taking balancing the two." I tell her.

[RED]

Cora

“Well I’m sure that you’ll figure out the balance. If not then I’ll always be able to help you as well.” I beamed happily when the waiter comes with the check. Of course Sean pays like he promised but I slip in the generous tip on my part.

“Thank you for dinner. Maybe next time we can try something much more casual?”
