I think something similar happens in Origins. I don't remember the guy standing outside her window though. I think the guy was a martial arts instructor. Good luck.
It's not that; I do not have that marked as "to read" yet, and I know that I had done so with the book I'm referring to. Also, I am almost positive that her mother is dead in the book, that it is just her and her father. But the book you mentioned DOES sound good, and I'm adding it to my TBR pile :) Thank you for your attempt at helping - and at giving me a new interesting book! :)
I don't know Zombie books, so I can't directly help you. But maybe I have an idea to help you look for the book. GR has a sort function for the time a books was added. If you have a certain idea like "It was definitely within the last year, but not after Easter" you can narrow down the 32k books you added maybe to a manageable size to go through and look for the zombie books you added in that time-frame.
Oh wow!! Thank you!! (And, it really was within the last year, but not after Easter that I added it!!)Do you just mean clicking on "date added", and then scrolling until I find the section of dates I am looking for? If not...I can't find the option; but I think that's what you mean to do :)
It is also good that I have never read a zombie book before, and am just starting to find a few here and there that interest me, so there won't be too many zombie books to sort through!! :)

Yes, it might be a bit of a pain to get there with date added, but when you enable the infinite scroll at the bottom, where you can say if it sould show 20 books per page, 50, 100 etc. then you should be able to get through it in a decent amount of time. Not a pain free solution, but I hope you're going to find your book, when you reach your target timeframe. :)
Yeah, that's what I'm doing now :) I have it on infinite scroll, and I'm scrollin' away...a small enough amount of pain :) It'll be worth it :) Thank you again for this idea!!
Wow, I would have never thought this...but I just decided to try switching to 100 books per page instead of the infinite scroll, which I have had it set to since I first found Goodreads. And by clicking as far ahead as possible for number pages, I got to my time frame a LOT faster!!
Not yet! Just got to April 15, and I'm going to search between then and January (I have it going backwards in time). I'll post if I find it!! :)
I found it!!!!
I found it via a combination of things...I was looking in the time frame that I said. I found a book that I thought COULD be it, so I typed it into my email search (I felt that there was a better chance that the excerpt was in an email than on Goodreads). I opened up the emails that I had read that came up in my search, and I found the book!! It wasn't the book that I typed in, but a different book that somehow the email with the excerpt came up when I searched "Voodoo Moon." How funny is that?!
I was actually a little off with the time frame...the email arrived last October. So I'm lucky I found it this quickly :P
Thank you guys for trying to help!! :)
Glad to hear it :) Now I have to go check out the book! I haven't read much in the way of Zombie stuff either.
Oh, that's great! Sometimes coincidence helps.^^ I hope you can enjoy the book now after you found out what it was. :)
