message 11958: by Prior Eaton (new)

Prior Eaton I thought it was something about the ‘savage song’.

ITS REALLY GOOD

message 11967: by [deleted user] (new)

Definitely a must read

message 11968: by Abby (new)

Abby | 110 comments Anyone else get into those slumps where you struggle to read even though every book you try to start seems good?

message 11969: by Caleb (new)

Caleb (caleb27) Yes. Happens a couple times a year depending on how much I’m reading.

message 11970: by Caleb (new)

Caleb (caleb27) When that happens, I just try to read a different format, or nothing at all.

message 11971: by [deleted user] (new)

It's called boredom

message 11972: by Caleb (new)

Caleb (caleb27) You may leave 🚪

message 11973: by Abby (new)

Abby | 110 comments For me it's not boredom. I'll try and read another genre. Reading nothing hasn't worked yet. I've been struggling to read since school let out.

message 11974: by Caleb (new)

Caleb (caleb27) I get that. I’ll probably be burnt out for a couple weeks soon here.

message 11975: by Caleb (new)

Caleb (caleb27) I’ve finished about 14 books in the last 2 and a half weeks.

message 11976: by [deleted user] (new)

I may leaf loll

message 11977: by Abby (new)

Abby | 110 comments I don't have time to read that fast. If it's a good week I may get through three books.

message 11978: by [deleted user] (new)

reading slumps suckkkkk

When it happens I'll try a new genre

message 11979: by jess (new)

jess (jess_the_best) | 314 comments I don’t think I’ve ever had a reading slump tbh

message 11980: by Abby (new)

Abby | 110 comments I don't get into them often. Usually I just get tired of one genre and swap genres for a month. I blame this reading slump on stress.

message 11981: by Caleb (new)

Caleb (caleb27) Fair enough

message 11982: by Abby (new)

Abby | 110 comments I may be finally getting out of it. I started a new book and actually want to keep reading it.

message 11983: by Caleb (new)

Caleb (caleb27) Good

What's that you're reading?

Abby | 110 comments Wizard's First Rule

message 11987: by Prior Eaton (new)

Prior Eaton You know when you hold your hands together so like finger in between each other. Then with your thumbs which will be on the side you move your thumbs in a small circle or like up and down soothingly and gently.

message 11988: by Prior Eaton (new)

Prior Eaton It can also be like you place your hand on top of the others persons or half way or something like that and your move your thumb up and down gently.

message 11989: by Charlotte (new)

Charlotte What does furrowed his/her eyebrows mean? Because honestly I don’t understand what it means. And I’ve been seeing it everywhere.

message 11990: by Prior Eaton (new)

Prior Eaton I think it means to raise your eyebrows. either out of frustration or concern.
Hope it helps!!

message 11991: by Prior Eaton (new)

Prior Eaton It is.
:)

message 11992: by Charlotte (new)

Charlotte Oh!! Thank you :))

message 11993: by Prior Eaton (new)

Prior Eaton 😀

message 11994: by Prior Eaton (new)

Prior Eaton Would you recommend the book?

message 11995: by Charlotte (new)

Charlotte Was it good????

message 11996: by Charlotte (new)

Charlotte Oh thank you I really want to read it!!

message 11997: by Prior Eaton (new)

Prior Eaton Ok then I will try that.

message 11998: by jess (new)

jess (jess_the_best) | 314 comments Question about annotating: when you highlight the book do you ever feel sad? I mean your destroying perfectly good books

message 11999: by Charlotte (new)

Charlotte That’s a good point. I want to start annotating my books but I’m scared I’ll muck it up. Especially as I like to keep my books pristine. I

message 12000: by Caleb (new)

Caleb (caleb27) I’m a bad highlighter, so I don’t.
