Adding a specific edition to a series but not all editions?

I need to add a specific edition of a book to a series but I don't want all the editions of that particular book to be listed in the series. How can I do that?

That is not possible. And if only one edition belongs to the series, it is likely the series doesn't fit the Goodreads policies for series. Imprints are not series on Goodreads, see here https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/2...
