Done - Two different page counts for same ISBN - 9781579622268

Hi guys,

A book has come up in our book group that has me a bit stumped on what to do. Rust is listed as 160pp on Goodreads with the ISBN 9781579622268 and 1579622267. A member had reported she had read it for a challenge, but her version was 293pp.

I did some googling, and it appears those two ISBNs, come up with a version of 160pp (see https://www.amazon.com/Rust-Julie-Mar...) but also a version with 293pp (see https://www.bookdepository.com/Rust-J...).

Any advice on how to handle this when the ISBNs are identical?

Your links got mixed up - Amazon shows 293 pages and Book Depository shows 160 pages :-)

Worldcat is usually reliable when it comes to page counts and is only second to a book in hand in terms of authenticity. Page count for current GR record was added by a bot before publication so it's most probably incorrect.

I changed the page count to 293 as per multiple sources - book in hand, worldcat, amazon.

Fantastic, thank you. And I have bookmarked WorldCat, as that looks like a great resource. Will check that out first next time this comes up (as no doubt it will again).
