The one thing I learnt a lot about was Clinton's leadership style. In particular was the effort Clinton put into forging intimate relationships with other leaders across the world; and the different ways she approached this depending on who it was. As she states, 'Relations between nations are based on shared interests and values - but also on personalities. The personal element matters more in international affairs than many would expect, for good or ill' (P191).
