Faye was still checking their packs, biting her lip as sh concentrated and tried to find some way to make it lighter for them without leaving behind essentials. “I don’t need to rest. I’m okay.. but it’ll be good to rest out wings for a little bit st last..”

"I still think you should rest, even for a little bit. We're really far away and hidden good in this tree. If anyone comes, we can fly out of it quick," he said, offering a small smile,"It'll be fine."

Faye yawned softly and leaned against the truck of the tree. She listened around them.

"Shouldn't he have been back by now?" Hailey asked Ace probably for the 14th time in the past 30 minutes as she paced back and forth, biting her nails. Hunt looked up from his spot, trying to hold back a scowl on his face.
"I already told you 100 times Hailey, Nick will get back when he gets back. He's invisible, he can't pass through walls. He probably needs to wait until someone opens the door so he can slip out," he said as he passed a heavy rock back and forth between his hands and a form of working out. Hailey frowned heavily and sighed, continuing to pace and looking around as she did so.

Nick had spent the rest of the night and the next day inside the facility. He got as much info and passcodes and routine known as he could, figuring out which wing that Ace and Zar were in along with what the plans for them were. That evening, he finally was able to slip out again and make his way back to where Hunt and Hailey were waiting. He did his best to keep invisible until he got close. “Hey...” he greeted, appearing near them.

Hailey paced and paced, waiting for Nick to show up. She was crawling out of her skin waiting there for him. But as she turned, she suddenly heard his voice and there he was. Her shoulders relaxed a lot and she went closer to him, putting her hands on his arms, feeling them.
"Thank God, are you okay? Did you get hurt anywhere?" she asked, giving him a little pat down.
"Jesus Christ, you're not his mother," Hunt said from where he was, rolling his eyes,"His a big boy, I'm sure he handled everything fine."

Nick smirked faintly, watching as Hailey checked him over for injuries. He looked exhausted but fine otherwise. “Yeah. I’m good. Don’t worry.” He promised. He glanced over at Hunt, checking on him. He seemed to be in better shape which was a pretty good sign. He bit his lip and moved to sit down at their little camp.

Hailey continued to pat him even after he said that he was okay, just wanting to make sure. She did stop after a moment though, hearing Hunt's words and frowning.
"I can't help it. Motherly instincts and what not," she said, going over and leaning against the caves walls.
"Excuses, excuses. My point still stands that it's creepy," Hunt said, looking at Nick as he sat down,"Did you find them?" He also threw him a bag that had some dinner they had gotten, a hamburger, fries, small slice of pie and some chips as well as a water.

Nick nodded, biting his lip at haileys comment. He kept quiet though, listening to the two of them bicker. He glanced at Hunt. “Thanks.” He said, taking the water. He opened it and downed some before setting it next to him. “So what’d I miss?” He asked, wanting their recap before he gave his since his would take much longer.

"Nothing really, just mother bear over there walking all over the place," Hunt replied, motioning over to Hailey,"So, what happened? You found them, so are they okay?"
Hailey frowned a bit at Hunt's words, not saying anything though. She was more interested in what happened on Nick's end.

Nick shrugged. “I wasn’t really there for long near them where I could see directly. They seemed okay. Freaked out. Zar especially. They’ve got plans for her... Hailey too if they’d have gotten her.” He explained softly as he took out some of the food. He ate a few bites before speaking again. “I was able to steal some stuff and make a bit of a map though.”

"Alright, well that's good. So what's our next course of action then?" Hunt asked, looking between Hailey and Nick.

"What is it?" she asked, not knowing if she wanted to take any more risks, that involved Nick or Hunt anyways. She didn't want them to get hurt, but she would still hear Nick out.
"Spill it," Hunt added in, reaching for his water and taking a sip.

"No, I don't think that's a good idea. Some of the doctors there are probably from when they were in there, they would recognize you," she said, not wanting to take that risk. She wouldn't mind risking him going back in there invisible, but she wanted him to stay that way, out of sight.
"She has a point," Hunt said with slight annoyance, biting his nail a bit as he sat there,"I think it would be better if you follow them into the birdcage then, with their help, take out the scientists watching and Hailey and I can get the door open. Or...just me would be better since they have "plans" for Hailey."

Hailey looked at Nick, sighing a bit and thinking. She didn't like it, not in the least. There were so many things that could go wrong and if something went wrong when they were still in the building and not in the birdcage, then her and Hunt couldn't do much of anything about it. Yes, it could go perfect, nothing bad happening at all. She knew that. But was she willing to take the risk? She wasn't sure. But on the other hand if she didn't agree with Nick then he would just get mad and annoyed with her. She started biting her nails a bit as she thought about this.

"Oh....," she struggled for the word for a moment, shaking her head and taking a deep breath,"Okay...we'll.....we'll do it your way."

“Okay. I’ll get them out safely. I promise.” He told Hailey, knowing that reassurance would likely held her. He smiled faintly at her before looking away. He bit his lip lightly.

Hunt watched her go and sighed softly as well, reaching down for his water and drinking what was left of it before refilling it from one of the jugs they had. Taking 3 pills out of the container, he took them all at once with half of his bottle of water.

"I'm fine, wounds are closing fine, I'll live. Just get some sleep," he told him, nudging him gently with his foot. He had slept a lot of the day so he was pretty wide awake now. He would make sure nothing happened to Hailey while she was out there, or Nick while he was sleeping.

Nick slept soundly through the rest of the evening and the night, his mind and body recharging. He spent the next day with Hailey and Hunt, telling them nearly everything that he’d found out and what info would be important to them in case they ever got captured. He slept again that next night while Hailey kept watch. He was up before dawn though, needing to get to the facility and be ready to get in. He got up and went to his bag, emptying the pockets of his jeans so he wouldn’t lose anything important. Just wanting to be careful in case something went wrong.

"Heading out soon?" he questioned him. Hailey was hanging out in the tree again, where she had been for pretty much the whole day yesterday and today. She, of course, went back in the cave to eat and talk about the plan and what was found, but then she would just go back to the tree.

"Are you leaving now?" she asked him.
"I duuno, Faye hasn't slept yet. I think we should let her get an hour or two before we go, give us a chance to rest our wings too," he replied, trying to take everyone into account here. Victor and Cass had already rested enough, Faye hadn't.
