Dr. Wu sighed a little bit at Nick's words, having hoped that he didn't lump her in with the rest of them after she agreed to help him. She packed up her things and grabbed the bag, nodding."I'm just worried about the delivery. She's still very young and I would hate for something to happen to either of them. I would recommend, if we can get you out of here successfully, you bring her to a professional for the delivery.'

Nick watched her for a moment. "Agreed. But anything with professionals is a risk too as they might be working with Dr. Lee or otherwise freak out about our differences." He told her quietly. He looked back to Hailey, knowing they couldn't keep Dr. Wu talking to them for too long.

Dr. Wu nodded."I know it's a risk, but if you can get the delivery done quickly enough and get out, there's less risk of them capturing you again." He grabbed the handle for her bag and turned."I need to go now. Hailey, keep on resting and trying to drink as many fluids as possible." She exited the room then, looking at Jess and Kai in the hallway."Kids, you can go back in now.

Hailey watched as she left, sighing heavily and rubbing her forehead.

Nick nodded. He shifted closer to her once Dr. Wu had left. "She has a bit of a point. But that can be a concern for later." He mumbled softly, rubbing her hand. "Are you alright otherwise though?" He asked gently.

Jess nodded and thanked Dr. Wu before heading back into the Birdcage.

"Yeah she does, I would like it if we had the chance to have someone who knows what they're doing give me a hand, but we can't trust hospitals," Hailey replied, leaning a little on Nick when he shifted closer,"I'm alright though. Just kinda wild, seeing the baby like that. Knowing that it's actually in there, you know?"

Nick nodded slightly. “I’m sure Brandie will be able to help with it. Or we will figure something out once it’s closer.” He assured her quietly. He held her gently. “It’s definitely wild..”

"Yeah Brandie was my first thought. Her or Chasity," Hailey replied, thinking for some reason that Chasity might have some sort of experience with babies, growing up in the School so close to the scientists and what not. Of course, she could be wrong about that.

Nick nodded. “Yeah. So that’ll be fine.” He agreed quietly. “we can worry about it more later. It’s still really early.” He commented, looking over at her.

"Yeah," Hailey replied, sighing softly and rubbing her tummy. She really, really missed the rest of her Flock too. She wanted to get out of here as soon as possible so she could see them all again. She really hoped Riggs and Dr. Wu would be able to give them something to work with, get them outta here.

Nick gently kissed her cheek. “We’re gonna get out.” He promised quietly, keeping his arms around her. He was already working out a plan though he knew he’d definitely need the others input about it to make sure they’d be able to escape.

"I know, I just...want out now," Hailey replied with a heavy sigh, missing the rest of the Flock desperately. She really hoped they were doing well. The oldest one there now was Chasity she believed and, even though she had been there the shortest (minus Mason) she really did have good leadership skills. However, she always thought the one best to take charge if something happened to herself or Nick, Faye would be best. Hmmm, she wondered who was bossing everyone around now that she wasn't there?

Nick nodded. “Me too. I’m missing them all.” He commented faintly. He usually wasn’t that honest or open about it but it was starting to really bother him, especially with how crazy things had been. He knew that Ethan would help care for the flock.

Nick nodded. “Yeah. And ace is a good counter to them. Seems like Kai has similar style as well, a bit more mellow to counteract Riggs.” He observed softly. “And Jess. She’ll fit right in. She’s constantly been here to help care for you and everything it seems.”

"Yeah, she will. I can see her and Faye being good friends," Hailey replied with a smile and a small nod. Thinking about her Flock though, as nice as it was, was also a little depressing. God, she missed them so much! She would give anything to be curling up with Cass and Victor right about now...

Nick nodded. He snuggled close to Hailey. “That’ll be good. Give zar more people that she feels comfortable with.” He said softly. He was a bit worried that having them all together was going to put them all in more danger but he’d worry about that once they were all back together.

"Yeah, if she'll be willing to open up to them," Hailey replied. Though if Faye was cool with them, Zar would probably follow suit eventually. She sighed softly and moved a little closer to Nick as well, trying not to think about them too much and make herself depressed.

Nick rubbed her side gently and stayed close. He tried not to think too much about the flock, knowing his focus needed to be on getting them out first and then he could figure out how to keep them all safe.

Riggs sighed heavily as he came back into the Birdcage, scratching the back of his head a bit. He had been gone pretty much all day with the "good old doctors" trying to leave more about how the hell to get outta there. And he thinks he had a solid plan. He looked to see where everyone was when he realized that everyone but Nick was gone. Frowning, he stepped in more, the door closing behind him."Where is everyone?"

the others had been allowed to the game room, Dr Wu trying to keep things normal for them all. Nick wasn’t allowed though as they were concerned about what he might do. He was sitting on the ground with his wings stretched out when Riggs walked in. “Game room..” he shrugged slightly and looked around rather than at him.

Riggs nodded a bit, puffing his cheeks out a bit. God, being alone with Nick? This was really, really weird."Turn yourself invisible and then come over here with me. I'll tell you where to stand so they won't see you with me." He said this quietly, though he figured that Nick would pick up on it. He moved over to the small pond that they had in there and sat down on the rocky edge of it, sighing slightly.

Nick didn’t answer right away. He stood after a minute before stretching and flying around a bit. He dove down into the trees before landing and turning invisible. He lurked near the pond, glancing to Riggs. “Okay what’s up?”

Riggs waited for him over there, taking some water from the pond and messing around with it a bit. He didn't even glance up when he heard Nick's voice."If you stand right by the red rock, under he tree branch, that's an area that the cameras won't be able to see you at all if you wanna, you know, become visible again."

Nick looked around quietly, following his instructions and standing where he said to. “Thanks.” He mumbled quietly though he stayed invisible. He figured that it was a good test of endurance to see how long he could easily maintain staying invisible.

"Yup," Riggs replied, not thrilled to be talking to Nick after all but, like, he was the only one that was here. He kept on messing around with the water as he tried to think of how to word what he was trying to say."So I think I found a way outta here. Well, one possibility for a way outta here anyways."

Nick leaned back against the tree trunk and studied Riggs quietly. “Okay. So what is it?” He asked quietly. He knew he had to reply since Riggs wouldn’t be able To see him.

"Well I know using Jess' powers is one option and I found a way that we would be able to get through all of the doors easily, since she works better with certain locks rather than others. Problem is, it's longer than it would take just going through the doors you're suppose to use to get to this place," Riggs began explaining, continuing to play with the water and keeping his head turned so it wouldn't look like he was speaking,"But if he can get to the main lab, there's basically a garage door there that they use to transport stuff easily. And I think I found a good way to open up said garage door."

Nick nodded as he listened to his explanations. “What’s your way to open the door?” He asked quietly. He was trying to rake in all the information Riggs was providing to come up with a decent plan that would get them all out together and safely.

"Fire," Riggs said, a slight smile on his face as he said this," They use oxygen tanks when they operate sometimes and the ones that are empty, or mostly empty, they store there for about a week until they get picked up and refilled. And they're just hanging out in front of the door."

Nick nodded. “Alright. I can see that working..” he agreed with a faint smile. “It doesn’t take much. Only issue might be is if they’re mostly empty then they won’t explode as well..”

"Nope, not as much as if they were full, but it'll still give up something. And Dr. Wu has access to the medicine and guess what medicine we happen to have here?" Riggs paused for a moment, swirling the water around a little bit,"Nitroglycerin tablets. Which, in case you didn't know, explode when it comes into contact with fire."

“So basically, as long as we can get a bit of a fire going, we can blast the door out with those tablets.” Nick summarized faintly to get it straight in his head. He studied Riggs quietly.

"Yep. I figure we can add some alcohol to the pot as well, just to make sure everything is gonna work out," Riggs replied sighing a bit. He opened up his wings to stretch them out as he continued playing around with the water, making different shapes with it.

Nick reappeared after a minute, glancing at Riggs. “Fair enough. When’s the soonest we can go?” He asked quietly, wanting to plan ahead and get them all out as soon as possible.

"Well they cleared the tanks out today, that's why I happened to notice them. And when I asked, that's when they said about every week they took them. So I would give it 5 or 6 more days so we can have as many tanks over there as possible to get the biggest explosion possible. I might even be able to get Dr. Wu to sneak over a mostly or half full one over there if she can," Riggs explained.

Nick nodded slightly. A week was more than enough time. They’d be able to prepare and hopefully get a solid plan in place. He looked over and watched Riggs for a moment. “Thank you.”

"Yep," Riggs replied, gathering up some more water to move that around as well. He didn't think there was much else to say to Nick. He didn't exactly enjoy the other guys company, and he knew that Nick probably felt the same. Riggs had been flirting with his girl after all...but he still thought he could do better for her than he could.

Nick watched him for a moment. “we’re not gonna leave without you. I hope you know that.”

Riggs glanced up slightly in his direction before looking away again, not wanting them to know he was speaking to him after all."If it comes down to it and I can't get out, yes you fucking are. I'm not gonna keep you guys here just for me."

Nick shook his head. “That’s not how our flock works.” He told him quietly. “We don’t leave one of our own behind.” He added with a sight shrug.
