Nick let Jayden stay by him as well, staying near the car. He watched Zar and Faye.

Brandie slipped inside. “Hey!! I found the others!” She called out to them.

Faye hugged her tightly. “I’m back. We’re back and it’s all okay.” She assured her softly.

Zar continued to cry into her shoulder, pulling back a little after a second to look at her."You're not hurt, you're okay?" She reached her hands up to touch her cheeks, examining her.

Victor looked up when he heard Brandie, smiling brightly and getting up. He went outside, seeing Hailey first and hugging her tightly.

"Hey little man," Hailey hugged him back, getting down on one knee to hug him better.

Hunt also looked up when he heard Brandie, currently in the middle of making some lunch. He smiled though, turning off the stove so he could go greet them.

Faye nodded. “Yep. I’m okay..” she assured with a gentle smile. “Are you alright?” She asked gently to make sure.

Brandie followed them back outside.

Ace had been helping Hunt with lunch but stepped away when he heard Brandie. He loosely took hunts hand before stepping outside with him.

Cass ran up to Hailey as well, hugging her tightly.

Nick stayed back and watched them quietly.

Zar laughed softly when she assured her she was alright, nodding to her question. She then, shockingly, moved her head forward and kissed Faye. It didn't last long, a quick kiss before she moved her head back into her shoulder and continued hugging her.

Hailey smiled when Cass came over as well, hugging her back along with Victor and kissed the top of her head.

Hunt took his hand back and got outside, smiling when he saw everyone hugging. That smile dropped quick however when he looked past everyone to where Nick was and saw Chasity standing there next to him.

Faye was caught off guard by the kiss but brushed her lips against hers softly. She hugged her tightly, leaning her head down to be closer. “We brought back a couple others..” she cautioned faintly.

Ace glanced around and frowned when he noticed Chastity and someone else standing with nick by the car. He raised an eyebrow and glanced to Hailey. “Why did you bring her back with you?” He asked, nodding his head towards chastity.

Zar hugged her until she mentioned other people and she lifted her head up, looking over to Nick. She noticed Chasity there and she frowned heavily. What was she doing there?

Hailey looked up at Ace when he asked that, glancing over at Chasity. She let go of the kids and opened her mouth to explain, but Hunt interrupted her as he started down the steps, obviously enraged.

"The hell is she doing here? Why the hell is that bitch here?!" He demanded, walking towards her but Hailey stepped in front of him to stop him.

Chasity shifted her weight uncomfortably, putting herself almost all the way behind Nick.

Faye glanced at her. “I know we don’t trust her. But she helped us escape. We figure she at least deserves a chance to survive.” She explained faintly.

Nick glanced to chastity before at Hunt. “We brought her here because she deserves a chance to live. They were gonna kill her and have put her through the same abuse that we all lived through.” He explained calmly, letting Chastity hide behind him. “It was my decision. Not Hailey’s.”

"But...she controlled you. And Hunt. Took you to that place," Zar said in confusion, looking as Hunt yelled.

"Good that's what that bitch deserves! You shoulda left her there!" Hunt yelled, struggling a bit against Hailey so he could get to her.

"Hunt no stop, stop. No one deserves that," Hailey said, putting both her hands on his. best to keep him away from them.

“Yes. But she also helped us escape. She didn’t have to but she chose to help us.” Faye said faintly. “And then there’s Jayden. He’s another hybrid like us. But he’s got healing capabilities...”

Nick tensed up and stayed in front of Chastity. “Come on Hunt. It was my choice so come at me..” he said lowly, stepping towards them.

Ace came over to hunt to try and calm him though he was pissed too. Chastity had caused all that had happened to them and hurt Hunt and them all.

Zar listened to her, eyeing the other guy that was standing there as well. She bit the inside of her cheek, not knowing if she liked this."You trust her?"

"I've kicked your ass before Nick, I can do it again," Hunt glared at him now as well, trying to shrug off Hailey and Ace.

"Hey stop it! This is not Nicks fault, all of us brought her back here with us, thats on all of us, us 3," Hailey said, pushing Hunt back more,"I know you're pissed at her, I get it. But she's one of the main reasons we got outta there."

“Not entirely. But she’s been helping us. We wouldn’t have gotten out without her..” she explained. “She may not even stay with us but we couldn’t leave her in the school.”

Nick sighed and shook his head. He walked over and grabbed Hunt from behind, holding him tight so he wouldn’t fight. It was again out of character for him but he didn’t care. “You’re gonna get over it Hunt. She’s already promised that she’s not gonna mess With any of our minds. She helped us escape and you’re gonna just accept it that she’s here now. Or you can beat the shit out of me until you feel better and then accept it.” He muttered lowly.

Zar listened and nodded her head, sighing softly and watching what was going down with Hunt."I think we should get them inside, away from Hunt. Let him cool down a bit."

Hunt glared at Nick as he came over to him, tensing when he was grabbed."Get the hell off of me asshole!"

Hailey watched Nick do this, frowning. This wasn't like him. We'll it wasn't like Hunt to be violent either, though she knew he was pissed about Chasity.

Faye nodded and let Zar go, heading over to Chastity and Jayden. “Come on. Let’s get inside and give them a minute.” She told them gently, leading the way.

“I have to make sure you’re not gonna go off and hurt her. If you’re gonna come after any of us, It’s gonna be me.” Nick said lowly, letting him go after a moment and stepping back.

Zar went to the door first, holding it open for them.

Chasity looked at Faye when she came over, nodding and moving last the group of them and into the house.

Hunt struggled against Nick as he held him, glaring heavily at Chasity as she passed by to the house. Once he was let go he turned around and pushed Nick."Dick."

"That's enough," Hailey said to Hunt, putting a hand in his arm.

Faye followed them inside quietly. “Zar, maybe to one of the bedrooms if possible?” She suggested, not knowing the way around the house.

Nick rolled his eyes at him. “Come on. Just beat the crap out of me until you feel better Hunt..” he said lowly.

Ace frowned. He sent Cass and victor inside too before coming back to them to get nick and Hunt separated.

Zar nodded and lead them into the bedroom she had been staying at with Ace, keeping a decent distance between her and them though. She didn't trust them, but Hailey and Nick did enough to bring them back. That counted for something.

Chasity looked around the house as they were less im, biting the inside of her cheek.

"Hey no stop it, both of you. God," Hailey said, pulling Hunt a few steps away from Nick,"No fighting."

"If this dude would stop pushing my damn buttons we wouldn't have a problem," Hunt replied, glaring at Nick though he did not move towards him again

Faye thanked her gently. She glanced to chastity and Jayden. “We’re gonna let them sort things out. And then we’ll go from there.” She assured them both.

Jayden nodded and glanced to Zar and then Faye. “Thank you.” He told them softly.

Nick shrugged and looked at Hailey. “Just let him swing at me. If it’ll help whatever our problems are, it’s worth it..” he replied quietly, standing still and watching them.

Zar looked at them both, moving over and taking Fayes arm."Hunt and Ace were working on lunch. We could go finish it while they're outside?"

"You're making me wanna, talking to me like that," Hunt said, taking a step towards him but Hailey held him back.

"Nick go inside. Now," Hailey ordered him, holding onto Hunt still.

Faye nodded slightly. “That sounds like a good idea. We’ll bring food up for you guys. We just need to make sure hunt cools off before you’re around him.” She explained.

Nick shook his head. He turned and walked away before taking off and flying up and away from them.

Chasity looked at her and nodded.

Zar stayed there for a second more before going back down the hallway towards the kitchen, taking Fayes hand as she walked.

Hailey watched Nick go, sighing a bit and letting Hunt go so he could go by Ace.

Hunt sighed heavily, putting his hands on his hips and looking down at the ground.

Jayden glanced over at her quietly.

Faye followed after Zar to make lunch. “I’m glad you’re okay. I missed you...” she mumbled softly.

Ace wrapped his arms around hunt. “It’s fine. We’re gonna be fine.” He whispered.

Nick flew around for a bit.

Zar looked back over to her, smiling."I missed you too...I was so worried about you, worried what they were doing to you."

Hailey looked at the two of them, figuring Nick needed to cool off as well at Hunt."Stay out here for a while, okay? We dont need you busting up the house."

Hunt let Ace do this, looking up at Hailey as she spoke."You can't tell me you trust that bitch."

Hailey sighed softly."Not completely, no. But she helped us get out, we wouldn't have been able to do it so easily without her. The School turned on her, they were gonna kill her."

"Good, should've let em," Hunt said with a shake of his head.

“It’s okay. They didn’t do much.” She assured. “They mainly wanted Hailey and Nick I guess. I was just a backup it seemed.” She explained as they worked together on lunch.

Ace held him close, trying to help him calm down. “Well deal with it hunt. We don’t have to trust or like her. We just gotta deal for a bit though.” He murmured.

Zar nodded, looking over at her. She went and gave her another small hug, so very glad that she was back and safe.

Hunt sighed again, nodding after a moment."I wasn't gonna fight Nick."

"Yeah right, you would be if I didn't stop you," Hailey said with a chuckle, patting their backs,"I'll come out in a bit and check on you two." She went back inside afterwards, looking at the kids on the couch and smiling.

Faye hugged her close.

Ace rolled his eyes. “He doesn’t care if you fight him or not. It’s like he’s willing to let you beat him up.” He commented softly.

Nick eventually returned and landed in the backyard so he’d be away from the others.

Zar hugged her a bit longer before pulling away, searching her face for a moment before moving back. She started finishing up the lunch the boys had been cooking.

Hunt looked at him when he said that, nodding a bit."Did kinda seem that way....I don't wanna be mad and fight him anymore, I was just mad about Chasity."

Faye smiled gently when she pulled away. She helped finish lunch for everyone.

Ace nodded. “That’s fair.” He agreed. He stayed close to him. “Well give her a chance, and then go from there?” He suggested.

Nick quietly came into the house through the back door.

Hunt looked at him and bit his lip, not wanting that. He didn't want that girl anywhere near him or his family. But everyone else seemed to be willing to give her a chance and he sighed."I can do that...probably."

Hailey was sitting with the kids currently, explaining a bit to them. She looked up when the back door opened, seeing Nick. She didn't get up though, just tayed with the kids.

“We’ll try. And we can talk to nick or Hailey. Make her promise to not use any of that mind stuff on us.” He commented softly, trying to help.

Nick barely glanced at her. He headed to where his stuff had been left, grabbing clean clothes before heading to go shower. He still felt like he had blood all over him.

Hunt nodded at Aces words, moving up the steeps and onto the porch with him. He took a seat on the swing out there and sighed, looking at Ace and offering a small smile.

Hailey watched him for a moment, taking a deep breath once he had gone to shower.

Thankfully the food was pretty much made when the girls took over, just some sandwiches and mac and cheese. Zar plated everything and brought 4 out, 2 for the kids and 2 for Hailey and Nick.

"Thanks," Hailey said to Zar, putting Nicks off to the side for when he got done showering. She would have to let Chasity and Jayden shower as well.

Ace sat close to him and leaned his head on his shoulder. He smiled weakly.

Nick showered quickly before getting dressed. He came back out, putting his dirty clothes in his bag to deal with later.

Faye took two plates out to Ace and Hunt before taking two up to Jayden and Chastity. “You can probably come down if you want.” She offered softly.

Hunt smiled when he was leaned on, kissing the top of his head. He thanked Faye when she brought the food out for them, pretty darn hungry.

Chasity looked up when Faye came, shaking her head after a second."I'm okay up here right now."

Hailey started eating when Nick came back in, pointing to his plate."That's for you."

Ace sat up and took his food, thanking Faye as well. He stayed close to hunt while they ate.

Faye nodded slightly. “Alright. I’ll be back up in a few so you guys can take showers and rest some more if needed.” She assured gently before coming back down to eat with the others.

Nick shook his head. “I’m not hungry. Thanks though.” He replied softly. “I’m gonna go keep watch.” He informed her before heading outside again.

Hunt ate with Ace, looking up when Nick came outside. He said nothing, just cast his eyes downwards after a moment.

Zar came into the living room to eat with Hailey and the kids, letting Faye sit by her once she had gotten back down.

Ace glanced at nick but kept his attention focused on Hunt. He rocked the swing gently as they ate together.

Faye glanced at Hailey when nick left. “Did he ever talk to you?” She asked curiously.

Nick felt fine. He just wanted to keep watch. He couldn’t risk anything else happening to them. He flew up to the roof and watched out around them.

(Lol. I dunno honestly. I figure he’s kinda just freaked out and blaming himself for all this unless we come up with some ideas that might cause drama / explain it)

Faye nodded slightly. “Alright. I guess we’ll just have to give him some time to chill out and then go from there.” She agreed quietly, glancing at her. She kept eating her food, leaning slightly on Zar.

Hailey nodded, taking a bite of her sandwich."I guess so. I'm just worried to do that, you know? He was quiet and a loner when we were younger, we all got him to open up over the years. I don't want him to progress backwards."

Zar let Faye lean on her, listening to their conversation but not piping in. She didn't even know what had happened after all.

((Hmmm, probably mostly mad about what they did to Hailey but also a bit about what they'd put the others through. The whole killing of the head scientist could just be sorta like a blind rage and revenge since they'd been the ones threatening and plotting to get Hailey pregnant))

Faye nodded slightly. "Yeah, that's fair. But he's gotta come back and be with us at some point. We can't let him shut himself off from us." She commented before glancing at Zar. She tilted her head to whisper to her. "When we were escaping, Nick went a bit ballistic. He killed the head scientist, harmed a bunch of the rest and then stuck around to fight and kill some erasers before following us." She summarized faintly.

"I know, that's what I'm trying to prevent," Hailey replied with a nod, listening to her explain what had happened. She actually hadn't noticed that he had killed the main scientist...That man was sick though, she understood that one.

Zar listened to the explanation, furrowing her eyebrows."That's odd. Nick doesn't normally loose his cool like that."

Faye nodded slightly. "Yeah, we'll get through to him. Or more likely, you will Hailey." She replied, glancing at her before back to Zar. "That's why we're worried. It's not like him at all.."

Later on that night, Hailey decided to give it a try to have Hunt and Chasity in the same room. She can out onto the porch where the two boys had been this entire time, looking at them and sighing."Hunt, you think you can handle being in a room with her, all nice and calm like?"

Hunt had moved so he was lying down in Ace's lap, looking up when Hailey came outside. He sighed heavily and thought about it for a moment."Maybe. I'll give it a shot. But if she acts like a bitch I will hit her."

Chasity had managed to make it downstairs after the shower, dressed in some of Hailey's clothes until they were able to get her some of her own. So far the kindest one to her had been Victor, who let her partake in playing Jenga with him. So that's what they were doing, silently playing a game as she worked on not accidentally getting into everyone's head.

Ace rolled his eyes at Hunt. “No. We’re not gonna hit anyone. You’re gonna be busy holding my hand.” He told him quietly. He waited until Hunt got up before following him. He was just as wary of Chastity but was trying to be good and give her a shot.

Jayden had joined them in playing Jenga after he’d gotten cleaned up, borrowing some of aces clothes that Faye had grabbed for him.

Faye had stayed up with Zar and the others after Ethan and his family had gone to bed. She was cuddling with her and Cass on the couch


Nick was still keeping watch on the roof, avoiding them all.

"Hey I have another hand, I might," Hunt replied, sitting up with a groan. He did take Ace's hand though and followed Hailey back into the house. His eyes found Chasity right away and he felt a small fire ignite in his chest.

Chasity tried pulling out a block but it ended up toppling the whole thing down. She chuckled slightly as it did so, sighing."I think that means I lost."

"It does," Victor replied with a little laugh of his own, gathering up the fallen pieces.

Zar had her head resting on Faye's shoulder as they sat there, nearly falling asleep already.

Ace shifted and shook his head. He hugged Hunt from behind, holding both his arms. “No fighting. We’re just gonna be civil and then we can go cuddle in bed.” He murmured in his ear.

Jayden shrugged. “I don’t know why this is so fun but it’s kinda cool.” He commented, helping gather the fallen blocks and started to stack them again. He glanced up when Hailey brought the other two boys inside.

Hunt took a deep breath to calm his nerves when he looked at her from across the way, leaning into Ace a little bit to try and relax himself.

Chasity also looked up when they came in, seeing the look that Hunt was giving her. She shifted uncomfortably and looked down at the ground."I'm sorry okay? Really, I am. To...everyone."

Hailey looked at her when she spoke, standing off to the side a bit and seeing if they could resolve this alone.

Ace kept ahold of Hunt as chastity spoke. He nodded to her and spoke up before hunt could. “What made you switch sides? You controlled us and took some of us with you but then came back with them when they escaped... why should we trust that you’re not just gonna feed us right back to them again?” He asked calmly, rubbing hunts arm.

Jayden looked over but remained quiet for the time being.

Chasity listened to his question, nodding her head a little bit."They were gonna kill me. They were only using me to catch Hailey and the others, they turned on me almost as soon as I brought them back to the School."

"So what? They turned on you, the hell did you start relying on the people you caught then?" Hunt asked, crossing his arms over his chest.

"Because they actually seemed to give a damn," Chasity said with a shrug, looking around at them all,"Hailey and Nick especially, actually seemed like they thought I could be worth something else."
