Hailey hoped so as well, not wanting that to be done to her. But...better her than Faye or it did come down to it. At the mention of the other girl, she furrowed her eyebrows."Why?"

“They’re gonna kill her off. And she’s been tortured too. I figure she deserves a shot out of here, even if it’s not with us.” He mumbled softly. “Plus she’s powerful. It’d be better to have her on our side than against us going forward in case they choose to keep her alive..” he added. Nick kept rubbing her back, trying to comfort her however possible.

Hailey listened, nodding a few times and thinking about it."She got us into this...She controlled Hunt, made him hurt us." She leaned a little into his touch, spreading her wings out slightly so he had more space.
“I know. But she’s also able to use her abilities to sense others. And can block pain and whatever other signals.” Nick explained faintly. “I just want to get her out. She doesn’t have to join us but even if she does, I will make sure she stays doing right. If not, I’ll handle it.” He promised, glancing at her. “They kept her alone..”

Hailey listened and nodded, hearing his point and she got it."I dunno if I trust her, but no one deserves that. We'll grab her if we can, get out together and then make a decision on where she's gonna go once were out. Sound okay?"
Nick nodded. “Yeah. Sounds fair to me. And we’ll make sure she won’t do any of that mind stuff on us.” He promised. He let her go for a moment. “We can go back and sit...” He offered softly.

Hailey nodded, then nodded again and she took his hand, leading him over to where Faye was resting. She seemed like she needed it, this whole ordeal was probably stressing her out a lot.
Nick sat with them. He let Faye rest, knowing that she needed it since everything was so stressful. “We’ll get through this. You should try and rest though love.” He said gently, wrapping his arms around her.

Hailey sat down next to him, cuddling close. She used the hoodie he had given her ad a blanket, not wanting to wear it right now. She nodded her head but instead of closing her eyes, she rested her head against his shoulder and looked up at him.
Nick kept her close. He kissed the top of her head gently. “What are you thinking?” He asked softly. He stretched his wings out behind him, liking to have them open as a bit of a shield when possible.

Hailey leaned into the kiss and shook her head, relaxing back a bit more into him when he moved his wings open."Nothing. Much...anyways."
Nick nodded slightly. “Okay.” He agreed. He curled his wings around them both and held her close. Faye stirred awake and moved closer to them both, wanting the contact too.
Nick shifted and put an arm around Faye too so he could keep them close and safe.

Faye nodded slightly. “Just wanted to be close..” she murmured, sitting by them. Nick shifted his wings so they were slightly around Faye too. He kept rubbing Hailey’s back to relax her.

"Okay," Hailey replied, giving her hand a small squeeze,"Get some more sleep." She wondered for a moment what the rest of them were doing, what they were thinking and planning. She hoped they were safe.
Nick fell quiet and closed his eyes for a moment. He was exhausted m and though he didn’t want to sleep, he felt like he had to at least a bit so he could stay functioning and be able to protect them as best as he could.

Hailey noticed when his eyes closed, smiling softly. She leaned up and kissed him softly before relaxing against him again, going to stay awake so he could get some well deserved sleep.
Nick kissed her back softly and sweetly. “I’m sorry love.” He mumbled when she pulled back. He kept rubbing her back until he dozed off a couple minutes later. Faye stayed awake, glancing at Hailey. “He okay?” She asked softly.

Hailey watched him until he fell asleep, resting there against him. At Fayes question, she took a deep breath before letting it out slowly."He's tired and worried, I think he feels bad...feels like it's his fault we're in this mess." She kept her voice down so Nick wouldn't wake up.
Faye nodded. “That’s fair. He feels like he’s the leader. And that he’s supposed to protect us all so I guess it makes sense that he feels like he’s failed.. but we’re gonna make it through this...” She answered faintly.

"Yeah. It wasn't the worst thing he could've done, it probably would be worked. If they didn't have a damn mind controller on their side," Hailey said with a small chuckle, looking at Faye,"Nick says he wants to get her out with us, maybe make her part of the Flock if she behaves....What do you think about that?"
Faye shrugged. “I dunno. Hunt will definitely not be on board. I. She controlled me some but I still could sorta think for myself and almost hear her in my head..” she explained. “But nobody deserves to be stuck here. Getting her out seems okay as long as she won’t turn on us...”

Faye nodded slightly. “That seems like a good plan.” She agreed softly. She curled up. “I can stay up if you want to rest with him for a bit.” She offered. Nick and Hailey seemed to need the time together to just relax.

“No. I’m good. You both have barely slept and have been watching over me. I can handle being up for a bit.” She promised. “Just snuggle with him and get some sleep..” she added before getting up.

Nick shifted and hugged her closer when she took his hand. He held tight to her while he slept for a bit. Faye moved and stretched her wings. She flew around for a bit to just move and keep busy.

(( Yush! (: ))Soon it was Sunday, it honestly seemed like such a short time to Hailey. But going in and out of experiments, sleeping whenever she could, it just felt like a short time. She was doing just that currently, lying down on the ground and just staring up at the sky, taking deep breaths. She tried to minimize her moving, the experiments they were doing on her were getting more and more invasive.
Jayden had been let out into the bird cage with them, then wanting Hailey healed up again prior to whatever they had planned for today or the next day. He had the card hidden with him. Nick glanced up when the door opened, glad it wasn’t any scientists coming in but they made it seem like they’d be in today to get them later.

Hailey tensed when the door opened, sure it was the a scientists again. But it wasn't, just Jayden. She didn't really have the energy to move at the moment so she just laid there, figuring he'd come over to her. Today was the day they needed to get out, they needed to do it before they came in. Cause she wasn't sure what was gonna happen to her if they took her.
Jayden came over quietly. “Got the key. Well just need the right time to go.” He mumbled as he crouched by Hailey. He wordlessly began healing her up. Nick stayed close when Jayden came over, protective of Hailey.

“This afternoon probably. More get out early today along with the smaller crew. But getting all four of us there might be a struggle..” he commented quietly, hoping that they had some ideas. Nick listened, glancing at Hailey. “We might be able to disable a few whenever they come in here...”

Hailey nodded her head, her body finally easing up on the pain once Jayden was done healing her. Sighing softly, she slowly sat up, glad there was no longer any sharp pain coursing through her body anymore."Thanks Jayden."
Jayden nodded to her. “Yeah. Of course. Is there anything else I can do?” He offered quietly. Nick shook his head, not wanting to be healed or anything. Jayden would need his energy for helping them out later.

Do you think you'd be able to talk to her from in here? Or is that too far?"
Nick shrugged. “She could sense you in here when we’ve been in the lab. So maybe. But she’d have to actually be listening for it I think.” He explained. “I can try though I guess.” He looked around, unsure how to think loudly in hopes of getting her attention. ‘Chastity? Any chance you’re listening to my brain??’ He thought. Jayden stood and stretched his wings.

Chasity's head was buried in her knees as she sat in her cage, tired and exhausted from what they were putting her through. Sleep was not coming to her though so she was keeping her mind open, listening to the thoughts of those that she could and she happened to hear Nick. 'That's once way to put that. What's up?'Hailey waited while Nick gave it a try, rubbing up and down her arms a little bit.
Nick shifted and put an arm around Hailey gently as she moved around. ‘Well. It’s true..’ he replied to chastity. ‘We’re gonna try and get out today. Where are you at?’ He asked to start, wanting to be able to find her.
