Nick moved a away from Faye, shoving the doctor who’d hit Faye. He glared and shook his head, trying to sort out how to protect Hailey and Faye from whatever they wanted to do.

Best be careful, there's a whole lotta things I could do to her."Hailey kicked at the other scientist, trying to get the one behind her as well but it was no use. They got her and moved her back to the door. waiting for the other scientist to follow along.
Nick glared and spat at him. He couldn’t kill the dude but he could certainly try and make his life more difficult. Faye grabbed nicks arm and pulled him back. She knew what had been done to Zar and didn’t want Hailey suffering the same fate because nick couldn’t keep his cool.

The scientist looked down at his clothes when Nick spit on him and chuckled,not doing anything back though. He just backed up with the others, opening the door."Good thing for me is, she's a pretty one." He went with the other scientists then, taking Hailey with them.
Nick glared and almost went after them but Faye held him back. He cussed loudly once they were gone, pulling away from her. He ran a hand through his hair tiredly, unsure what to do.

(( Yush! (: ))It was a while later when the door opened up again, roughly maybe 4 or 5 hours. The scientists said nothing, just pushed Hailey through the door before leaving.
Hailey fell when they pushed her back into the Birdcage, swallowing a little and letting out a small sob. She had been crying. Whatever they had done to her obviously hadn't been good. She had bruises already forming on her arms, probably from needles mostly but a few looked like from hits or grabs. And they had taken her jacket.
Nick got up when the door opened. He saw Hailey in just her tank top and tugged off his hoodie, offering it to her as he came over. He wrapped her arms around her gently after a moment, hating that he couldn’t protect her.

Hailey looked at Nick when he came over, taking his hoodie though didn't put it on just yet. She hugged him tightly afterwards, wiping at the tears that were going down her cheeks.
Nick hugged her close. “I’ve got you love. I’m so sorry but I’ve got you.” He whispered, kissing her head. He wanted to ask what happened but didn’t want her to feel forced to talk about it.

Hailey sobbed softly as she hugged him, sniffling afterwards. She didn't say anything for a little while, just cried softly into his shoulder."I'm okay...I'm okay."
“We can talk about it if you want.” He offered gently. He shifted and let Faye join their hug, keeping an arm around each girl. “I’ve got you.” He whispered softly.

Hailey sniffled, looking at Faye when she came close and she took one of her hands."He didn't do...didnt do anything, didn't do that anyways. Just made threats. But...they took samples of..." She stopped them, shaking her head and just curling up closer with Nick.
“Blood samples?” He guessed. Tilting his head. He kept them both close, offering what comfort he could. Faye rubbed Hailey’s hand and stayed close with them both. She closed her eyes for a moment.

Hailey shook her head at Nick, looking up at him after a moment."Vaginal...samples." She wiped at more of the tears on her face, letting out a shaky breath.
Nick cursed and shook his head. “I’m sorry love.” He mumbled. His mind started wandering, thinking they were probably gonna try and get her pregnant cause why else would they need that sort of sample. He didn’t want that to happen, especially if it meant someone else was messing with her.

Hailey nodded her head, curling up in Nicks lap and resting there with him. She was in pain, she was sickened by what had just been done to her, but she needed to keep her head up. This wasn't gonna break her."The lab is the weakest spot I noticed. They have their deliveries just on the other side of that, cars and people going in and out all the time. So far it's the best place I saw for us to get out of."
Nick nodded. “Alright. Well we’ll start trying to figure out some sort of plan with that.” He assured faintly, keeping his arms around her as they sat down. He opened his wings and curled them around the girls, wishing he could do more to protect them from whatever the scientists wanted.

Hailey nodded, sniffling and she moved a little and out the hoodie that Nick had given her on, taking Fayes hand back afterwards. She closed her eyes after that, not falling asleep even though she was tired, they had done a lot to her, taken a lot of blood.
Nick kept his arms and wings around them. “Try and get some rest while we can. I’ll stay up and keep you safe.” He promised them, knowing Hailey especially needed the rest. He watched them worriedly. Faye rubbed her hand gently

Hailey opened her eyes and looked at him, shaking her head just a little. But even as she was doing that she felt her eyes closing again. Sighing softly, she leaned up and gave him a gentle, quick kiss before resting her head back on his shoulder.
Nick kissed her softly, kissing her forehead when she pulled away. “I’ll be right here.” He promised her gently. He glanced at Faye who’d already closed her eyes and seemed to be trying to get some rest.

Hailey nodded, extending an arm over to Faye so she could reat on her a little bit as well. She was warm down and she did feel safe in Nicks arms, wrapped around his wings like that and she did soon fall asleep.
Nick held them both in his arms and let them snuggle close while they slept. He had to do what he could until he figured out how to keep them safe. His mind wandered, thinking how he should’ve practiced with his abilities to see if he could use them to hide others too.

(( Mhhh yes yes, that can work (; ))It was later on in the day the following day, the scientists had already come and taken Faye and Hailey once, together this time. And now they were back, the door opening up with the same scientists from before. This time they had Chasity with them. She didn't look good at all, bruised and beaten up, not a part of her arms that didn't have blood on them or were purple. All she had on was a long dirty shirt as well.
Hailey was lying down with Faye when they came, rubbing an area along her wings that always felt really nice, like scratching a cat behind the ears. She sat up then the door opened, putting herself between Faye and them right away. She furrowed her eyebrows when she saw Chasity and the state she was in though. She was working with them, why was she was beat up?
Nick had barely slept, staying up all-night and then he couldn’t relax when they took the girls again. Once they were back, he stayed between them and the door so they could rest without being ambushed. He stood and watched the door when it opened and Chastity was brought in with the scientists this time. Faye stirred but didn’t move, figuring they’d leave her alone if she stayed still.
(While nick is taken and maybe chatting with chastity along with whatever else, maybe they let Jayden into the birdcage to heal the girls and keep them in better shape and he can tell them he wants to try and get out if they’ll help him?h

The man looked over at Hailey and chuckled."Nothing much. Saving that for you honey."

Nick glared at the guy but stepped over towards them after giving Hailey a quick kiss on the cheek. “I’ll see you in a bit,” he promised, figuring he’d start fighting once has out of the birdcage or in the lab so the girls wouldn’t be affected. (Yay!)

Chasity caught the thought coming from him and she sniffled, shaking her head. 'Don't do that' she thought sending it over to him. It was a skill she had that she had kept hidden from the scientists, not letting them know about it. 'They brought me to control you if you fought, don't do it if you don't think you can win.'Hailey watched as Nick went with them, not wanting him to but they didn't have a choice right now. She sighed and reached over to Faye pulling her close and wrapping her arms around her.
Nick tilted his head when he heard her voice. ‘Winning doesn’t matter. These bastards deserve to be killed and I need to protect my girls.’ He thought, thinking she had to be able to hear him. He tensed up a bit as he followed them. Faye moved close to her and hugged her gently.
A bit later, Jayden was allowed into the birdcage to stretch his wings and heal up the girls. He stepped inside quietly and watched as the door was just behind him.

Chasity followed along with them all as they walked, hearing Nicks thoughts. 'Nick, just don't. I have to control you if you try, you won't get far.' They headed through the hallways towards the lab.Hailey held tight onto Faye ad they sat there, looking up when the door was opened up again. It was Jayden. He had helped her before with her wing, but that didn't mean she trusted him. She opened up her own wings and moved them around them like a shield, watching him.
He sighed and barely nodded. ‘I’m Guessing you’re not able to control them?’ He thought, trying to learn what he could. Jayden opened and stretched his wings out. He glanced at the girls. “Hey.. I’m just here to fly a bit. But they said I can heal you guys up and get you some of your strength back.” He offered gently, staying back so he wouldn’t seem threatening.

Chasity glanced over at him ad they walked, wincing a little from the pain. 'No, they can block me out. It's possible to and I taught them how to do it. Just never thought they would use it against me.'Hailey listened to him as he spoke, shaking her head slowly when he mentioned healing them. She didn't want any man that worked with the School near her or Faye.
Nick glanced at her. ‘Okay. That makes sense...’ he agreed. ‘I’m sorry to see that they’re hurting you too..’ “Hailey. It might help. Give us a bit more strength for you know..” Faye reasoned softly. “I’ll at least let you heal up my arms if you’re willing. They’re really sore..” she offered.
Jayden nodded. “Okay.’ He said softly. He walked over to her and crouched near them. “I have chastity’s key card. Can you help and we’ll get out?’ He told them in a faint whisper, taking fayes arms gently to start healing them.

Chasity didn't reply to that one, looking up when they got back into the area of the lab."Get back over there." The scientist gave a hard shove to Chasity, nearly knocking her off her feet. Sighing, she moved over next to a crate where they had been keeping her, sitting down on the floor with her knees against her chest. "You over on that table." The man moved over to one of the tables they had, patting it for Nick to get up on. The other scientists started getting stuff ready to take his blood.Hailey looked at her, but said nothing. She watched Jayden closely when he came over, keeping her arms around Faye in case she needed to pull her away."Why are they doing that to her? She was with them. You're with them."
Nick complied and sat on the table. ‘That’s why we worked so hard to escape. We’re human and didn’t want to be tortured like this. I don’t know if you were raised with others or not because we never saw you but we were sorta raised together... that’s why they’re my family.’ He thought, not sure if she was listening but he had to keep his mind busy or else he’d fight the doctors or something dumb. Jayden shrugged. “She got you guys here. Her purpose is done pretty much.” He mumbled. “And I want out. She knew that and left me her card to help...”

Chasity was listening to him, it was kinda hard not to listen to thoughts some times. She bit the inside of her cheek and sighed. 'You're the lucky ones, growing up with others. I was the only one.'Hailey listened to him explain a little bit, nodding slowly."Did you grow up here? I don't remember you, either of you. How old are you?"
Nick stayed still for the doctors, closing his eyes. ‘Two different experiment sets I guess.’ He thought. ‘You’d probably feel different about this place if they hadn’t kept you isolated.’Jayden heaped fayes arms. “16. I think. They kept us separate. Testing to see how we did alone I guess. Or we weren’t good enough to join you all. I dunno.’

So he was as old as she was. Why in the hell hadn't they all been part of the same group? She didn't think Chasity was much older either."Okay. You you want out. You have a key card, best chance for us to get out too. Have a plan in mind?"
Nick opened his eyes and glanced at the doctor. “Why do you need me shirtless?” He questioned quietly, glancing at them. Jayden shrugged and sat nearby. “Lab is best way out cause they have a dock close by for bringing stuff in and out. High traffic though so we’d have to time it right. But I may be able to get some of them out of there though.’ He said softly.

“What do you want with my wings?” He tensed up, seeing the scissors. If they clipped his wings, he wouldn’t have a chance at getting out. He couldn’t let that happen. Jayden nodded. “Soon. Sundays typically have less staff here..” he commented.

Hailey glared at the 2 doctors that were cornering her, scared, but she was trying not to let that show. When one moved at her she moved back, but the other grabbed her arm."No, fuck!" She cursed, struggling against him.
