Ace cooperated. “Let me patch up his arm please.” Ace pleaded quietly. Nick got back and landed by Hailey. “Hey. They’re not far. I found them. I need your help getting them though. Ace is making sure they don’t leave..” he told her quietly, hating to lie to her but he couldn’t admit how badly he’d fucked up in front of Zar.

Chasity landed down with them all, looking at Ace when he asked that. Scoffing she went to where she had their supplies, grabbing a bandage wrap and threw it over to Ace.Hailey and Zar both looked when they saw Nick, Hailey looking at him in confusion."Oh okay um, alright. Zar stay here with the kids alright?" Zar nodded, wanting to go with them but someone needed to stay here in case. She stood up and moved closer to Nick, since she still wasn't able to fly well.
Ace caught it easily and moved close to hunt. He wrapped up his arm, punching his skin to try and get through to him. “Hunt. Please babe.” He mumbled in a faint whisper.Nick picked up Hailey when she was ready and flew her back to the others, cursing himself the whole way. But he knew Ethan would protect the younger ones of their flock so it was a worthy trade. He and Hailey could find a way out, especially if they didn’t have to worry about the others.

Despite what Ace was trying to do, nothing was working on Hunt. He just stood there still as a statue, emotionless eyes staring forward.Hailey held on tightly to Nick as they went up in the air, looking around a little bit as they flew."Are they hurt?"
Ace leaned his head on hunts shoulder for a moment before stepping back, trying to find out what to do. “Not that I saw. But Hunt’s still under their control. Faye isn’t though.” He told her, biting his lip. “The girl is there though.”

Chasity looked at the two of them from where she was and she scoffed a bit, rolling her eyes."Bunch of damn softies.""Seriously?" Hailey said with a heavy sigh, looking around more. When the camp came more into view, she furrowed her eyebrows as she looked down at it. There were Erasers down there too....what was going on?
Ace turned on her. “They kept you isolated, huh?” He questioned softly. “You don’t seem to know that you can have a sort of family..” he commented. Nick flew down to the ground near the camp. “We just have to get the others out. I don’t know how to get to hunt but we’ll try.” He mumbled to her.

"I didn't grow up with playmates and siblings if that's what you mean," Chasity replied from where she was standing, arms crossed as she faced Ace,"Not like I needed them anyways.""I thought...," Hailey trailed off a bit, tensing up a bit when they got closer to the ground. Once there she stood up out of Nick's arms, looking over to where the others were and she frowned.
Chasity looked over as they landed, turning to them instead now."Queen bee herself. You're who I was really looking for."
Ace shrugged. “True. But you’re missing out. That companionship is a million times better than whatever the school can give you. Come with us...” he tried to sway her. Nick stayed tense by Hailey’s side. “You’ve got us. Now you’re gonna let the rest of my flock go.”

"Piss off," Chasity replied to Ace, moving closer to Nick and Hailey,"Hows your wing doing sweetheart? I hear Hunt broke it.""Screw you, what do you want?" Hailey replied, her voice dripping with venom. What was going on? She was so confused, she thought Nick had gotten them but they were still here. Was this a trade off? Her and Nick for them?
"That wasn't the deal Nick I told you, you bring me Hailey, I won't kill Hunt and I might consider letting the rest of your Flock go," Chastiy replied, going over to Ace towards Ace and Hunt now instead.
Ace shook his head at chastity. “It must be such a sad life for you...” he mumbled. “You’ve been obsessed with getting a guy and girl. It would make sense to have Hailey and I. We’re more mature for what they want. Hunt and Ace won’t cooperate. And Faye is too young anyways. So I don’t see why you won’t go with this.

I'll let you figure out what those reasons are," Chastiy replied, moving over a little ways and motioning for Faye to follow her before looking back at Hailey and Nick,"You two, get over here. Now."Hailey watched the girl as she moved around, giving a small glance over to Nick and sighed. She didn't like it but she did what she was told, moving over towards the girl. She knew if she even thought about attacking her, Chasity would be able to tell anyways so there wasn't really a point.
Faye shot a glance to nick and Hailey, unable to keep from moving where chastity wanted. Nick glared slightly. He hated that chastity could anticipate his moves so much or else he would’ve just killed her by now. He glanced at Hailey, feeling guilty but he was trying to do the best he could for the majority of the flock and the two of them were always willing to sacrifice for the others.

"Good, now get in the car," Chasity said, motioning truck she had moved to. It was one of those open backed ones so they were able to just hop right in. She kept Faye by her side though, much rather preferring to travel by air after all."You gotta be fucking kidding me," Hailey said with a shake of her head, looking over at Nick for a second before back at Chasity.
"Do I look like in kidding? Van. Now. Not like you can fly right now buttercup," she replied.
Hailey had about 100 words that she wanted to call this girl right now but she settled for just getting in the back of the damn truck, sending a look over to Ace and Hunt, who Chasity hadn't done anything with.
Nick stayed back. “Let Hunt out of your control. Leave him and the rest of my flock alone. You’ve got a guy and two girls. That’s all you said you needed.” He told chastity lowly.

Nick glanced her over. “Alright queen bitch.” He muttered, going over and climbing in the van. He wasn’t gonna keep poking and endanger his entire flock. Ace stayed right by Hunt. “Please. You’ve got what you want.. let him go...”

Chasity glared at Nick as he got into the van, the Eraser that was in front starting up the engine. At Ace's words Chasity finally released the hold that she had on Hunt.Hunt gasped when he was let go, dropping down to one knee in confusion. What the? What in the heck? Confusion poured over his mind before he realized what had happened and he looked up, his eyes finding Chasity's right away and all he could see was red looking at her. He was pissed.
"You fucking bitch," he practically growled.
Ace blocked him as soon as he came to. “Let them go hunt. We can’t.” He mumbled softly. He wanted to kill chastity too but knew they needed to get back to the flock and protect them. They were the oldest of them now so they had to take care of the younger ones before rescuing the others. Nick shut his eyes, hitting the back of his head against the wall of the van.

Hunt wasn't really listening to Ace, he tried to run at her anyways, being blocked by Ace of course."You bitch! I'm gonna kill you you hear me, I'll fucking kill you!" he shouted at her.
"Yeah yeah, God he's noisy. Let's go," Chasity said, hitting the side of the truck and it started up, taking Nick and Hailey with them. Then she also took off into the air with Faye, leaving Hunt and Ace alone in the camp.
Hailey bit her lip when Hunt came to, sighing heavily and putting her face in her hands. What the hell were they gonna do now?
Nick was quiet before moving and sitting by Hailey. “I know you’re pissed. I fucked up and I’m sorry. But we’ve got a lot better chance of getting out than them.” He mumbled. “Ethan will keep the flock safe...”Ace held Hunt back. He stayed quiet until they were gone. “Hunt. Look at me. Please.”

Hailey felt Nick come to sit closer to her though she didn't look at him, just kept her face in her hands. She did listen to him though, nodding her head after a second and sighing heavily."Well...maybe this'll be a lesson for next time," she said, looking over at him,"If I say you shouldn't do something, maybe you shouldn't do it.'
Hunt watched as she flew away, struggling a little bit more against Ace until he couldn't see them anymore.
"Fucking," he cursed, breathing heavily and he finally actually looked at Ace like he asked him to.
“Obviously. I thought I could handle it. But I’m gonna figure this out. We’ll get us out.” He mumbled quietly. Nick bit his lip and watched her. “I thought I could work it where they’d just take us. Get the others out.” Ace held him tight. “I know. I know. This is fucked up and super shitty but I need you right now and we’ve gotta get our shit together to care for the rest of the flock. With you and I, we’ll be able to protect them.. and then we’re gonna figure out saving nick and Hailey and Faye.” He said quietly.

Hailey listened to him, nodding her head a little bit as he spoke."Got one of them out at least, she left Hunt. But not Faye." She sighed again, shaking her head.Hunt listened to his words, sort of anyways. He put his hands on his shoulders after a moment and looked at him, shaking his head.
"I'm so sorry....I'm so so sorry I hurt you," he said, tears welling up. He remembered most of it. Hurting Zar, then Ace. Breaking Hailey's wing, fighting Nick. He had done that, all of that.
Nick nodded. “Yeah. Not an epic fail but still a fail. I did talk with Ethan though. He will keep our flock safe. And they’ve got family all over so they can move around if needed.” He mumbled, wanting her to know. Ace held onto him. “It’s okay. You weren’t in control. I know you weren’t. But will you just hug me because I’ve missed you a lot and I really need one right now?” He asked faintly.

Hailey nodded her head again at his words."Good. They're all smart, they'll know what to do." She looked down at the floor of the truck, trying to think this all out. She felt a little weird though.Hunt looked at him, hugging him tightly after a moment. He cried a little bit into his shoulder, his body in so much pain and he felt like crap. He was being mind controlled for, what, 2 weeks now? Now that the adrenaline of seeing Chasity was wearing off, he realized just how crappy he felt.
Nick nodded. “I wanted to have a backup plan. They’ll be safe.” He promised. He glanced over her in the dim truck, watching her worriedly for a moment. Ace hugged him tightly, trying not to cry too. “We’ve got to take a long way back, just in case but we’ve got a safe place to stay. Food. Beds. Everything.” He assured quietly. “I’ve got you hunt.” He leaned up and kissed him.

"I know," Hailey replied, glancing over at him for a second before she winced a little bit. Her head felt weird, not like it hurt, but like it was just getting heavier. What the hell?Hunt kept hugging onto Ace, nodding his head and he sniffled, trying to cease his tears. He looked back at Ace, kissing him back when kissed."I'm sorry Ace." He apologized again once he pulled back, tears still running down his cheeks.
“What’s going on?” He asked worriedly, seeing the look on her face. He was running on adrenaline still so he didnt notice if he was feeling off too. He was too busy worrying about her and the flock instead. “I know. But it’s okay. It’s gonna be okay now.” He promised, cupping his cheeks and wiping the tears away.

"I'm sorry," Hunt whimpered again, sniffling more but he let Ace wipe the tears off of his face. He felt awful, he let that girl control him and he hurt his own Flock in the process.
Nick nodded. “Okay. keep trying to keep her Out I guess though I don’t know how to do that.” He said worriedly, thinking. Ace nodded. “Let’s get back to the others, okay? And then we can get this all sorted out. But I think you probably need a shower, food and a nap.” He suggested gently, not wanting to stay put.

"I know, I'm trying," Hailey replied, tapping her foot a little bit in irritation. This was really stinking annoying, having someone try to poke and prod their way into your brain. Sighing a little bit, she closed her eyes as she worked on keeping her out, trying to push her out if she can, but it was hard when he didn't understand how any of her mind reading stuff worked.Hunt nodded his head a little at his words, the tears off of his face, even though more threatened to come anyways. He didn't even know where they were.
Nick nodded. He kept quiet and let his mind wander with all sorts of random thoughts. He didn’t know if it would cause any interference for chastity but it was worth a shot. “Are you okay to fly for a while? It looks like they took all the erasers but id rather be extra cautious.” Ace asked him softly,’letting him go but he stayed close. He tried to think of what to tell Zar when they got back too, knowing she’d be upset.

Hailey stayed like this for a little while until it seemed like Chasity backed off and her head started feeling better."Jesus Christ, persistent bitch," she said once she had stopped trying, shaking her head a little and looking around to make sure she was feeling okay.
"Yeah I think so...I should be able to," Hunt replied with a nod, staying close to him. He wanted to go and get Hailey and Nick and Faye, but he wasn't even sure if he'd make it back to wherever they were going right now. But he would try.
Nick slumped down a bit in the back of the van and closed his eyes. He’d barely slept the past few days and though he didn’t want to sleep, he needed the rest if he was gonna be able to function by the time they got to wherever they were takin them. Ace nodded. He took off after a few and started back towards ethans place. He took a long messy way there though to lose any erasers If they were being tracked.

Hailey looked over at Nick from her spot and reached over, taking his hand. She played with his fingers a little, just absent mindly, but was going to let him sleep if he wanted to. He probably needed it.Hunt followed along with him, having a much harder time flying of course. But he was holding on, doing his best to get where they needed to go. Then he could pass out.
Nick squeezed her hand gently. He didn’t plan on sleeping but just being in contact with her was a slight comfort as they tried to sort out what to do. Ace kept a close eye on him as they flew. He led him around a pretty twisted way before back to Ethan’s house, landing in the backyard.

Hailey sighed a little bit, kissing the back of Nick's hand when he took her hand back."I'm sorry about the fight we had. I know why you wanted to go out, I get it. I was just thinking in a way that I thought would make things easier."Hunt flew with him all the way to the house, breathing heavily by the time they finally landed. And when he landed he didn't even get to his feet, just went right down on his hands and knees instead.
Zar saw the two of them from the roof and she stood up, jumping off and going over to them.
"What happened, where are the others?" she asked Ace.
“I’m sorry too.” Nick mumbled. “I just. I want to keep our flock safe and together. That made me a bit of an idiot obviously..” he commented quietly. Ace landed by Hunt, frowning slightly at how he dropped down. He kept a close eye on him for a moment before glancing to Zar. “Nick and I fucked up. We got Hunt back but they wanted nick and Hailey and Faye..” he mumbled. “So in other words, were even worse off from where we started...”

Hailey nodded her head a bit, scooting over closer to Nick and she rested her head against his shoulder."Stuff like that, stuff like trying to keep our families safe and sound sometimes make us so unwise things. It's not entirely your fault, you wanted them back just like the rest of us did."Zar listened to his words, feeling the tears coming up in her eyes right away. Faye was still with them...and now they had Nick and Hailey too? Sniffling, she shook her head and went over to Hunt to check on him.
"Where are you hurt?" she asked, thinking that was what was wrong.
Hunt shook his head at her concern though, taking deep breaths."Nowhere really...just exhausted."
Nick put his arm around her gently. “At least the younger ones are safe now. We’ve just gotta get Faye out and it’ll be alright.” He mumbled faintly. Ace nodded slightly. “Let’s get you inside and you can just lay down and sleep.” He said softly, wanting to get Hunt taken care of and then he’d talk more to Zar.

"Yeah. I think we can do that," Hailey replied to him, sighing a bit,"We got out before, busted the others out too, I think we can do it again." Of course she knew that the School would be taking extra precautions with them though so it would probably be a bit harder..."Yeah...okay," Hunt said, swallowing thickly and moving to standing, though he was unsteady on his legs.
Zar moved around to one side of him so he wouldn't fall, supporting him as they moved into the house.
Nick nodded in agreement. “And it’s only three of us. Not 8.” He commented faintly. He held her close to him. Ace supported Hunt and guided him into the house. He led him to the room that he and Zar had been sharing so he could lay down.

"Good point," Hailey replied with a sigh, looking up when they happened to hit a bump in the road. God she hated cars. How much longer would it be until they were there?Ethan was in the living room with the younger kids when they came in and he looked up in alarm when they came in. He followed them into the room after a moment, eyeing the one who looked like he was gonna pass out.
"Is he okay, is he hurt?" he asked, wondering what he could do.
Zar helped Hunt down to the bed once they got him in the room, glancing over at Ethan when he spoke up and she tensed up.
"He's just tired," she informed the guy, moving so Ace was between Ethan and herself.
Hunt groaned a little once he was down on the bed, swallowing thickly and looking over at his arm. That was really his only actual injury. And it hurt like a bitch.
Nick held her gently. “We’ll be okay.” He promised faintly, biting his lip. He fell quiet as the car kept driving, unsure where they were going. Ace got Hunt onto the bed before straightening up and glancing at Ethan. “He just needs some rest. I’ll come talk to you and fill you in in just a minute.” He assured quietly before grabbing some of their first aid supplies from his bag.

Hailey nodded, hoping that the others would be okay as well. She trusted Ethan, he had been nothing but kind to them. But he had his own family to protect and he was just an average person...Ethan nodded to his words, giving a small glance at them all before exiting the room to go make sure the kids were okay.
Zar relaxed once Ethan was out of the room, looking back down at Hunt."What happened to your arm?"
"Bitch stabbed me," Hunt grumbled, looking like he was fighting to stay awake.
Nick fell quiet for a bit. He had no energy to stress over everything right now. He had to figure it out though and soon. “She threatened to kill him if nick didn’t get Hailey.” Ace mumbled. “Just sleep hunt. We’ll keep you safe. get some rest. You need it.” He added, coming over and unwrapping his arm so he could clean it up.

It was about an hours drive to the School, Hailey had dozed off a little bit on the way there but she woke right up when they stopped. Looking around, the Erasers were all getting out of their cars, hardly paying them any mind except for an occasional glare. Chasity landed a second later with Faye, motioning with her head."Get out," she told the pair.
Zar mumbled a curse word under her breath at this information, shaking her head.
Hunt looked at Ace when he came over, letting out a small sigh and he did allowed his eyes to close. He was out almost a moment later, his breath evening out.
Nick woke again as soon as they got to the school. He glared at chastity as he got out of the van. He stayed close by Hailey’s side, glancing around though there were too many erasers around so they had no chance to escape. Ace took care of Hunt’s arm quietly. “I’ll figure something out Zar. We’ll get them back.” He promised faintly, glancing at her.
"Land right down there, don't try anything funny," he said, motioning with her head for Hunt and Faye to go down as well.
Hailey was, of course, still at the house, lying down on the roof with Zar next to her. The kids were all inside safe, she just needed to be on watch and Zar, well, with Ace not here she needed someone with her. So they were there together, just waiting.
