"No no, we just need to stay here," Hailey replied with a shake of her head."Ah well good, even this one knows when to quit," the Eraser holding Nick said, giving his head a little push just to piss him off.
"Don't play with him, come on," the girl said with a shake of her head, going over as well though and giving a quick examination to Nick. Noticing the marks on his arms, she glared up at the Eraser holding him."Couldn't you have been a little more gentle with him?"
Ace sighed and looked around. He fidgeted a bit, bouncing on his feet. Nick swung his leg and kicked at the eraser when he shoved him, glaring at the girl who stood in front of him. “I doubt you need me in one piece.” He muttered lowly, watching her.

The Eraser growled when he was kicked, digging his claws even more into Nicks arms.The girl looked at Nick when he spoke but also noticed what the Eraser was doing.
"Hey!" she shouted at him, grabbing both of Nick's arms,"That's it, let him go." The Eraser did as told and the girl kept hold of his arms, actually quite stronger than she seemed since she was so small."There's someone that wants at least one of the bird kids alive back at the School. We were aiming to get Victor or Cass, but you'll do for now at least. So yeah, one piece is best."
Nick glared as the claws dug further into his arms, drawing more blood that oozed down his arms. He tried to struggle a bit against the girls grip but she held strong and the other erasers seemed to move closer to keep him from getting away. “Okay. Then you can take me for whatever experiments you want. Just me though. Don’t touch any of my flock.” He muttered lowly.

The girl looked at him when he spoke, scoffing at him and shaking her head."No no, we're going out to look for the others just as soon as we get you in the truck and send you on your way. Now come on," the girl said, tugging Nick along. As she was walking, however, it appeared that she was quite like the other members of the flock. It hadn't been able to be seen at first against her white dress but there were white wings on her back. She was an avian hybrid just like them.
Nick struggled a bit against her as she pulled him to the truck. He had to keep them busy or else they’d go after his flock. He had to protect them. He noticed the girl had wings though and frowned. She was an avian hybrid like them, and about the same age. Was there a second flock in the school or was she different, he wondered, still trying to fight but he was wearing out.

As they were on the way to the car the girl suddenly stopped, looking around for a moment. She seemed confused about something and then cursed."Dammit, tough son of a gun," she mumbled, closing her eyes as she seemed to be focusing on something. Doing this, though, made the grip that she had on Nick looser.
Nick tilted his head at her cursing but her grip loosened. It gave him a chance. He yanked out of her grip and shot up into the air, quickly flying up high to get away from them though he knew they were bound to chase him. He hadn’t tried using his abilities to turn invisible in midair but tried to focus on doing that, flying up higher and looking around.

The girl cursed as Nick tore away from her and she was able to be heard barking orders at the Erasers telling them to follow him. Of course they could not fly. But she could. And, soon enough, she had joined Nick up in the air, quite the fast flier, like Hailey was. She kinda moved like her too.
Nick couldn’t seem to disappear in midair so he cursed. He flew off in the opposite direction of where he knew the flock was, needing to lead them away and protect the others. He didn’t look back, flying quickly and maneuvering around to try and lose her. He dove down into the trees.

"Dammit," the girl cursed as she flew after him, keeping up with his speed. And, even though she was maneuvering expertly, she was able to stay behind him the entire time. Which was really odd, it shouldn't be possible to follow someone that easily."You can't outrun me forever Nick!"
“I can sure as hell try!” Nick snapped back at her. She shouldn’t be able to keep up with him that well but she was. He didn’t know how to lose her so he had to get her far enough from the other erasers where he could fight her and hopefully knock her out to protect the others.

The girl continued to keep pace with him, hoping to start burning him out. She stopped, however, when a thought was sent to her. She listened to it, breathing heavily from how fast she had been flying. Keeping an eye on Nick, she smiled suddenly and changed her course, heading back in the direction that the rest of the Flock was camped out at.
Nick was tiring out but he glanced back occasionally, knowing she suddenly turned off and was flying back in the direction of his flock. He cursed and flew after her, trying hard to catch up and hopefully grab her to take her down.

The girl was hard to spot as she was flying full speed in the direction of the Flock, suddenly disappearing lower to the ground so it was pretty good to assume that she had dropped off either where the Flock was or close by."Did you guys see that?" Zar asked the others suddenly, looking up at the sky. She could have sworn that she saw someone flying towards them though, she wasn't able to make out who it was.
Nick frowned when he lost her. He dove down to the clearing when he saw the others. “There’s erasers. Let’s get moving, come on!” He called out to them, diving down to make sure they all heard. Ace frowned and glanced to Zar. Before he could answer, he heard nick shout and glanced up. He listened and opened up his wings, taking off after helping the kids get into the air.

Zar was still trying to figure out what she had seen when Nick came close to them. Right away she moved over to Cass and helped her get up into the air, letting Faye go first so she could help her and Victor out. Right as she was going to go up though something hit her hard like a damn truck and she yelped in pain, being sent a good few feet away and skidding on the ground under her."Zar!" Hailey yelled to her, moving to go help her and trying to see who had attacked her. She stopped in her tracks when she saw who it was though.
Hunt was hovering just over the ground, being right where Zar had been standing, clearly her attacker. He grinned over at her, cracking his knuckles as he hovered there.
Nick landed on the ground for just a moment, giving the kids a chance to get up in the air. Faye went with them, keeping them close to her and starting to fly up higher though they didn’t go far from the others. Nick was watching out for the girl hybrid that had been after him first, knowing she had to be coming. He got back in the air to make sure the others got up too. Ace was about to take off when hunt attacked Zar. He flew up and at him, grabbing his arms. “Hunt.” He said lowly, trying to see what was going on and what had gotten into him.

Hunt set himself on the ground and moved to get closer to Zar again when Ace suddenly was in his path. He didn't react in much of anyway to him, his face completely blank and lacking emotion. Without a word and threw a punch to Ace and pushed him down to the ground."Hunt stop it!" Hailey yelled from the air, leaving Victor up with Faye while she moved down to assist Ace. Zar was still crumbled on the ground and wasn't seeming to be moving quite yet.
Ace fell but quickly got back up. He flew at hunt again. “get out of here Hailey. He’s not responding to us.” He called out before grabbing at Hunt again. “Hunt. Come on handsome. This isn’t you!” Nick dove down and picked up Zar. He had to get her out of there even if she hated being touched. He had to get them all somewhere safe. He shot back into the air with her in his arms n

Hunt stumbled back just slightly when Ace grabbed him, again not responding in any way. He happened to look over and catch sight of Nick though and finally some rage was shown on his face. He pushed Ace off to the side and immediately got into the air, going after Nick despite the fact that he was carrying Zar at the moment.Hailey saw this movement and moved over to intercept him, stopping him from getting closer to Nick.
"Stop Hunt stop! What the hell is wrong with you!?" she yelled at him only to be met with a kick to the gut and then he moved around her and pushed on her wings, something they should never do to one another since it stops them from being able to fly. And that's what happened, Hailey lost control of her wings and started going down.
Faye flew over to nick and took Zar from him. For once, she was grateful that Zar was so small. It meant that she could actually hold her and carry her without too much trouble. Once ace realized he couldn’t get through to hunt, he swore and backed off. He dove after Hailey to help her before she hit the ground.
Nick had noticed how Hunt seemed to target him and nodded. He could use that to his advantage. He let Faye take Zar before diving down towards Hunt. “Come on you prick! Come get me.” He snapped, swinging at him.

Zar wasn't moving all too much, she didn't seem too hurt minus a lot of scraping on her arm. And she was moving a little bit, but she was unconscious for the moment.Hailey tried to get some control of her wings again, tried to flap in some way, but it was no use. She grunted when Ace managed to catch her, looking up right away at Hunt and Nick.
Hunt looked turned to Nick as soon as he heard his voice, grinning at him. He blocked his swing easy enough and then started throwing punches of his own. Hunt had been decent at fighting before but, for some reason right now, he was excellent at it.
Faye talked gently to her. “I’ve got you. We’re okay.” He promised her. She led the kids off a bit, not wanting to stay right in sight. Ace helped catch Hailey until she regained her balance and everything. “We’ve gotta go. Staying around here will just let the others catch us. Nick and hunt can handle themselves. Nick can get through to him.” He told her, hoping she’d listen.
Nick wasn’t sure how he was still going, running on pure adrenaline at this point. He fought back against hunt though hunt was fighting a lot better than he was just last night. He had to keep him busy though and then the others could get away.

Hailey listened to Ace's words, knowing that he was right. It's what Nick would tell her anyways."I can't fly right now. You fly off with them, I'll head into the the trees from the ground. There's a small cave near the cabin, Nick knows about it. Go there with them and I will meet you there," she told Ace, wincing from the pain in her back. She couldn't even close her wings right now, which was pretty damn scary.
Hunt was easily blocking everything that Nick was throwing at him, punching him and attacking him with everything that he had.
(( I was thinking Hailey could try and go into the woods and accidentally run into that girl. As she's about to attack her, Hunt stops her and that gives her and Nick an opening to get away? (:

Ace nodded. “Okay. Be careful.” He remembered seeing the cabin as well so he flew up to the others and started leading them there. Nick kept fighting against Hunt though he was getting tired and weaker. He dropped down lower to the ground, grabbing hunts leg to drag him down.

She tried again to close her wings but the pain was too great and she let out a small yelp when she tried. Not a good idea. Seeing the guys down on the ground now instead, she ran off in the direction of the trees, knowing Nick would know what to do if he didn't see everyone at the cabin.
Hunt allowed Nick to drag him down to the floor, closing his wings when he got down there.
"What's the matter Nick? Huh?" he asked him, smirking at him,"You're not getting tired are ya?"
:)Ace kept the others close and kept a close watch around. He was gonna protect them all as best as he could. He just hoped nick could get Hunt and follow.
Nick shoved him back when he landed, closing his wings and immediately swinging at Hunt. If he knocked him out then maybe they could bring him back and he’d wake up back as himself.

Hailey just managed to make it to the woods when she ran into someone, another person in the woods. The girl looked surprised when she came face to face with Hailey and Hailey could see white wings on her back."Who the hell are you?" she asked, taking a few steps back from the girl.
Chasity knew that she wouldn't be able to fight Hailey, despite the fact of her being hurt.
"Hunt!" she called out to the other guy, tapping into his mind as well.
Hunt was taking swing after swing at Nick, kicking him down. He was about to punch him again when he heard Chasity's voice. Right away he turned to where he knew she was, seeing Hailey over there with her. He immediately started over, aiming to tackle Hailey to the ground.
Hailey, confused, was able to feel Hunt behind her and she moved out of the way just in time, giving a good kick to the side of his face, stunning him for a second.
Nick chased after hunt as soon as he started running. Hunt got taken out by Hailey which gave Nick a chance to get a few good hits at chastity before running off into the trees to get away from them. He hated leaving Hunt but he couldn’t get through to him so it was too much of a risk to bring him with the others.

Hailey ran as soon as she realized Hunt was down, knowing damn well that she wasn't gonna be able to get through to him. Neither of them could.Chasity yelped when Nick attacked her, glaring at him as he ran off as well.
"Hunt! Go get them!" she yelled to the guy, who did indeed get up and start after the both of them, though he wasn't 100% sure where they had gone.
Hailey heard the other girl screaming and she cursed, knowing that Nick was hurt to hell after fighting Hunt like that,"Fuck you!" she shouted to get Hunt's attention, continuing to run through the trees. It just sucked cause she still wasn't able to close her wings at all so they were getting snagged on branches.
Nick had ran in a different direction than Hailey had, wanting to hopefully keep Hunt after him and away from the others. He ran for a while before pulling himself up into a tree. He tried to focus on disappearing so he could hide and ambush hunt if he was still chasing him.

Hunt was not chasing Nick at the moment, Hailey's shout had put him running after her, trying to spot her.Hailey ran for a while before she also ducked up into a tree, trying to catch her breath. She also tried to focus her levitating powers onto a branch that was below her, hoping she would catch sight of Hunt. And she did indeed, he happened to run right under the branch she was at. Focusing as much as she could, she used the branch and stuck Hunt with it a few times, who was confused and tried to block himself from the thing.
"Son of a bitch!" he cursed when it happened to hit in in the head quite hard and Hailey took the chance to abandon her tree, jumping a few branches away before going back onto the ground and running some more. She couldn't fly still and did not trust her levitating powers to get her off the ground. A stick was one thing, herself was another.
Nick was quiet for a minute as he listened. He didn’t hear anyone chasing him so he took off and flew in the direction hailey had gone, needing to make sure she hadn’t gotten caught or anything. He flew low and spotted her running after a few. He flew down closer. “Hailey. I’m gonna grab you.” He called out quietly before diving down to pick her up. He’d noticed that she couldn’t fly but he could carry her and get them out of there.

Hailey pushed through the trees as she ran, not trusting that that hit was going to keep Hunt down for long. Again she tried to move her wings to no avail and she wiped at a small tear that escaped down her cheeks from the pain. Hearing Nick's voice though, she looked up and nodded, easing her running and let Nick pick her up, wrapping her arms around him once he had.
Nick dove down and scooped her up before shooting back up into the sky. “I’ve got you.” He promised. “Are you okay?” He asked gently as he flew up higher. He flew off away from the cave, wanting to make sure they’d lost Hunt first before joining the others.

“Okay. Well look at them in a few. I just want to get you safely away from them first and then we’ll check them.” He reassured. “And I don’t know. She’s an avian hybrid. About our age. But she can outmaneuver us. And has about the same speed too.l he explained.

Hailey nodded, knowing getting out of here was priority number 1. She just hoped that the others were okay as well, she knew that Ace and Zar had gotten hurt."What the fuck? Why would they send her on us?" she questioned, wincing from the pain in her back again,"I told the other to go to that cave we noticed. I figure the cabin isn't safe right now."
“I don’t know. We’ll figure it out.” He assured. Nick flew a bit further before finding a small clearing to land at. He landed and folded up his wings before setting her gently on her feet. “Alright. Let me look at your wings.” He said gently, moving behind her.

Hailey held on tight to Nick as she flew, looking down at the ground when he landed. Nodding, she allowed him to move behind her and take a look at that. The one looked like it was fine, still locked into place from what Hunt had done to her. But the other one didn't look so great. Right where the wing attached to her back it was twists slightly in an unnatural way and her skin around it was already swollen pretty bad. It was broken, quite clearly. Fixable, but she would be off her wings for at least a month.
Nick cursed. “He broke your fucking wing. I’m gonna kill him.” he muttered. He glanced it over, gently touching it to try and see how bad it was. “We’ll get back to the cave and I’ll stabilize it. It looks like with how’s it broken, it’s keeping them from being able to fold and close.” He explained quietly to her.

"Broken?!" Hailey squeaked out, not thinking that it was that bad. She craned her head to try and see what Nick was talking about, freaking out just a little bit. She had broken her wing once before when she was younger and that had sucked, but it wasn't like it was now. They were on the run, she needed her damn wings! But she was able to see what Nick was talking about and he was correct, it was pretty damn broken."Son of a bitch." It wasn't a terrible break, it was just where it happened to be broken was the problem. So close to the nerves like that, it could have ended a lot worse.
“It’s just cause of where it is that it’s so bad and you can’t fly. But we’ll get it stabilized and it’ll heal. Let’s get back to the cave?” He offered gently to her. He moved back in front of her and hugged her gently. He was starting to lose energy, his arms bloody messes and bruises were forming all over. He had to get them to the cave though before he could rest.

Hailey was kinda freaking out a little bit, just the idea of her wing being broken. What if it didn't heal!? She accepted the hug that Nick gave her, a few stray tears going down her cheeks but she didn't have time for crying right now. They needed to get back to the others."Yeah we need to go," she replied, wiping at her tears and sniffling,"Lets go, let's go." She held onto Nick so he would be able to carry her, knowing that he was hurting and she felt so bad.
“It will heal and we’ll be fine.” Nick promised. He gently picked her up before taking off again and heading for the cave. He kept quiet for the flight there, spotting the cave and flying down to it. He landed and set Hailey down, relaxing when he saw the others near the back of the cave with a small fire started. They’d stashed some supplies in the cave just in case so they at least weren’t completely screwed.

Hailey held onto Nick as they flew there, keeping her emotions in check while heading there. It sucked, it really really sucked, but her being worried about the others was able to push her own feelings down for the moment. Once they were there, she looked to see if everyone was there, sighing when she took her head count."Everyone okay?" she asked as she came in further.
Zar was, now, conscious and she looked up when the two came, seeing that they were lacking someone though. Hunt.
"We're okay. Just a few bumps," she replied, leaning on Faye for support. The wind had gotten knocked out of her pretty bad, her ribs hurt a lot and her arms and legs were pretty scrapped. But nothing was broken.
Nick stayed back near the entrance where ace was, giving Hailey a chance to check on the others before he’d set her wing. Ace glanced at him and frowned. “You couldn’t get him?”
Nick shook his head sadly. “I tried but no. He’s stuck with them for now. But we’ll get him back.” He promised.
Ace nodded. “Ok.” He mumbled. “I’ll keep watch. Go get cleaned up.”
Nick nodded and went to get some stuff to set Hailey’s wing. He didn’t speak to the others.

Hailey heard Ace's words and she sighed sadly, feeling so so bad."I'm sorry Ace," she apologized to him, going over and checking on the little ones really quickly.
"Hailey what's wrong with your wing?" Victor asked when he noticed it, reaching over and touching it gently.
Hailey winced from the small touch, smiling at him.
"It's broken, but it'll be okay. It'll heal," she replied to him.
Zar raised an eyebrow when she heard that Hailey's wing was broken. Hunt had really gone that far, he had broken her wing? What was going on with him?
Ace frowned and looked around. “So what do we do? Should we head back to the house? Nick will know to go there if we’re not here.” He suggested, not wanting to just wait around.
Nick kept struggling until even more erasers stepped out. He was outnumbered by way too many that he didn’t have a chance. He sagged a bit and let the eraser keep him pinned while he tried to think of a way out of this. He studied the girl for a moment, noticing how she seemed to be their leader.
