Nick finished up in the kitchen. He came over and leaned his head on Hailey’s shoulder for a moment. “I’m gonna go check around outside. Make sure nothing weird’s going on and see if I can see Ace and Hunt coming back.” He told her softly. He turned and kissed her cheek before stepping back.

Hailey watched as he came back over to her, nodding her head and letting him go out to look around. When he did she moved into the living room with the others, sitting down on the floor with the kids.

Nick went outside and checked around, flying up and perching on the roof to get a better vantage point. He didn’t see any signs of hunt and ace which was starting to worry him a bit but he knew couldn’t very well go looking for them. He stayed outside and kept an eye out for a bit.

It wasn't too much longer before two more little dots appeared in the sky flying towards the cabin they were staying at. Hunt and Ace had, finally, come back for their little shopping, exploring the town adventure. Hunt was carrying a few bags as he flew and he noticed Nick first. He still was iffy feeling about him, he wasn't 100% sure why, he just wasn't willing to talk to him as much as he used to right now.

Nick stayed sitting on the roof with his wings outstretched until he saw them flying back. He stood up and watched until they got close before hopping down to the ground to meet them by the door. “How’d it go?” He asked once they’d landed.

Ace flew close by hunt, glad that they’d gotten some alone time though he was still worried since hunt seemed a bit off.

Hunt landed once they got closer, shaking his legs off a little since they had been flying for quite a while. At Nick's words, he simply shrugged and left it for Ace to explain, going inside instead so he could put away what they had gotten.

"Welcome back," Hailey said when Hunt came in the door, her greeted by a simple hey from him as he made his way through the living room to the kitchen.

Nick looked away, rolling his eyes at how hunt just blew him off. He waited till Hunt had gone in before talking to ace. Their flight and exploration had gone well, they had a pretty good idea of what was around and had gotten some supplies. He followed ace inside, offering to get the burgers cooked for them both.

Hunt was silent as he put everything that he had gotten away, not including what Ace was holding of course. He noticed the food but didn't really give it much thought, retreating from the kitchen once Nick and Ace came in and started for his room.

"Whoa whoa, why don't you eat something, you guys were gone for hours?" Hailey called to Hunt before he got far, looking over to him.

"I'm not hungry right now," was his simple response as he moved into the guys room, shutting the door mostly behind him.

Hailey blinked at that statement, flying took a hella lot out of them and after just an hours flight they would start feeling hungry, especially Hunt. But after all that time they had been gone he 'wasn't hungry.' That didn't make any sense...

Ace had noticed hunt was getting a bit weird on their trip but he figured it was cause of Hunt fighting with Nick, not anything else. He sighed. “I’ll eat. And I’ll take him some snacks. He’s probably just being grumpy cause you offered nick.” He commented with a shrug.

Nick nodded. “Alright. Well. Let me know when he’s done hating me.” He told ace before getting the burger patties out to at least cook for ace.

Hailey sighed a bit once Hunt was in his room, rubbing her temples a little bit as she sat there.
"He doesn't hate you he's just....moody," she said. None of them could ever hate one another or stay mad at someone for long. This was, however, the longest Hunt had stayed mad at someone, even longer than the time Zar accidentally turned all of his while clothes pink with an accidental red sock in the wash.

Nick nodded. “I know I know. He’s just very moody.” He agreed. “I’ll keep giving him space though until you give the say I think.” He commented to Ace, figuring ace would be the best for a middle man between them since he was close with Hunt. He started the burgers for Ace, pacing the kitchen absently.

Hailey listened to Nicks words and sighed, biting her bottom lip. Standing up, she gave the remainder of her vegetables to the kids and put her plate in the sink. She was getting tired of this shit. Moving past the boys she went into the room with Hunt, shutting the door behind her.

"Uh huh. He's in trouble now," Zar said as she was picking at her burger, watching Hailey go into the room.

Nick glanced over when hailey suddenly headed off to the boys room. He didn’t stop her though, not going to get in the middle of it unless hailey needed his help.

Ace nodded. “Alright. I’ll try and talk to him later too. He’ll be fine In a day or two I bet.” He assured.

"I can't even remember exactly when he started acting weird, cause it was before he got mad at you Nick," Zar said, looking over at him from her spot,"Cause he was starting to sleep and eat less before then."

Nick nodded. “Okay. Was he acting weird before you got captured by the school?” He asked them both, trying to think it through and figure out what was going on with Hunt. It didn’t seem like normal hormones or anything but he didn’t know. None of them were normal so everything was a bit of a guessing game.

Zar tried to think back and figure out exactly when Hunt started acting weird, shaking her head.
"No he was fine, I remember when we were at the cave he was acting in his right mind," she replied, thinking harder,"I feel like....it was around the time we went to the first cabin. Before we met Brandie."

Nick nodded. “Alright. I guess we’ll kinda just keep an eye on him and do what we can for him.” He assured, shrugging slightly. He ran a hand through his hair tiredly.

Zar nodded, opening her mouth to say more when she heard a loud yell from the room. Not much was able to be made out but a pretty clear thing was Hailey screaming "You've been acting like a damn idiot recently and there's no good reason for it. You need to get your attitude together Hunt!" And then Hunt retorting back something that wasn't able to be understood.

Victor looked up as well when he heard it, blinking a little bit.
"So...wanna watch some t.v?" he offered to the girls sitting around him, reaching for the remote to turn it on and, hopefully, drown out the yelling in the other room.

Nick frowned and went towards hunts room, ace trailing behind him. He tapped on the door before pushing it open. He didn’t want it to escalate further into a huge fight that would hurt them all.

Faye shrugged. “Sure. You pick what we watch Vic.” She told him gently, hoping the others would sort this out and act a bit better. She glanced at the tv before moving closer to Zar.

Hunt and Hailey were arguing when the door was pushed open, Hunt sitting on the bed and Hailey standing in front of him.

"What are you so mad at huh? Why are you acting like this?" Hailey raised the question to him, voice loud, but not quite yelling.

"I-I-I don't know Hailey, I don't know. Why can't you just leave me the hell along about it, let me figure it out!?" Hunt yelled.

"Because you're not figuring it out Hunt that's the point! You've been acting like this for more than a month know, giving Nick the stink eye every time he talks or looks at you, was giving Ace a hard time! You need to stop!" Hailey yelled.

Hunt was going to yell back when he realized the door had been opened and he saw Nick there. Right away he shut his mouth, looking away from everyone and to the wall instead.

"Okay," Victor said, turning on the t.v and flipping the channels. With the door being opened could hear the yelling better, but he tried to ignore it.

Zar smiled at Faye, snuggling close to her on the couch.

Ace moved and sat by hunt almost immediately. He didn’t touch him but he was close which was hopefully a slight comfort.

Nick watched him for a moment. “We’re not trying to interfere hunt. But we’re worried. And think that we can probably help and figure this out like a family rather than being against each other.” He explained calmly.

Faye snuggled close and tried to tune out the yelling.

"I don't want your damn help Nick!" Hunt yelled at him suddenly, looking over at him with a glare in his eyes,"I want you to leave me the fuck alone!"

"Hey!" Hailey yelled at him, moving close to him,"You see what I mean here? Why are you so angry at Nick, huh? You didn't talk to me like that, even just now. So why him?"

"Cause he pisses me the fuck off!" he yelled back.

Nick nodded, taking a breath so he wouldn’t snap back at him. “Then come at me hunt. Don’t be treating the others like shit when your problem is with me.” He told him lowly. “If you think you can do a better job protecting the flock then be my guest.” He told him lowly.

Hunt looked at him when he spoke, gritting his teeth.
"I don't want control over the Flock, I never did. But I damn sure don't want you to be it's leader," he said to him.

"Why? What's wrong with Nick taking care of it over me?" Hailey asked, they basically raised it together anyways.

"He doesn't deserve it! I know that if it came down to it, if he really wanted to he would leave us in a heartbeat!" he yelled at Hailey.

"No he wouldn't, what the hell if wrong with you?! We're all together here, stop treating him like he's the bad guy!" she said, nearly in Hunts face now.

"He is the damn bad guy, he's the damn problem!" Hunt suddenly screamed, standing up and pushing Hailey back with such sudden force that she slammed against the opposite wall.

Nick shifted and let them yell at each other but his temper flared as soon as Hunt laid a hand on Hailey. He immediately moved close and grabbed Hunt's collar, glaring at him. "If you think I'm a problem, you haven't seen anything yet." He said lowly, keeping a grip on him. "If you have a problem with how we do things, either speak up and provide some ideas or just get out. This screaming and hating us isn't going to help anything."

Hunt realized what he had done as soon as he did it, fear and regret showing on his face. He was grabbed by Nick so he couldn't even move to see if Hailey was okay, looking at Nick and listening to his words. Letting out a little whimper, he pushed at him as much as he could, struggling to get him to let him go.
"Let me go...let me go!" he yelled.

"Ow dammit," Hailey cursed as she stood up, feeling her head where she hit it, looking over at the boys. What was going on?

[Fallen]

Nick held tight. He didn't intend to hurt him but he was pissed and sick of this. "No. I am not letting you go until you chill the fuck out and I know you're not gonna try to hurt any of us." He told him lowly, glaring.

Ace came over to check on Hailey. "You alright?" He asked faintly, a bit wary of trying to get in the middle of the other two guys.

"I want to leave! Let me go so I can leave!" Hunt yelled again at Nick, now beginning to kick him in a further attempt to get him to let him go. He was scared, he had just hurt Hailey and he didn't mean to. What was going on with him?

"Yeah I'm fine," Hailey replied, seeing Hunt clearly beginning to freak out. He was acting so odd, he had been pisses to all hell and now he was acting like he was terrified."Hunt look, I'm fine. I'm gonna get your ass back for pushing me one day, but right now everyone needs to calm down, especially you. Nick will let you go as soon as you stop."

Nick didn't let Hunt go, holding him as he yelled and tried to kick at his legs. He glared slightly but kept his mouth shut.

Ace nodded to Hailey before coming over and gently putting his arms around Hunt. "I've got him Nick." He assured.

Nick sighed and let him go but stayed close.

Hunt looked at Ace when he came to hold him, whimpering again. It got Nick to let him go though, but he couldn't fight against Ace. He didn't wanna hurt him by accident too. So he just turned around in his arms and hid his face, ashamed for what he did to Hailey.

Hailey watched this and sighed heavily, moving over to Nick and tapping his shoulder.
"Lets give them a bit," she whispered, hoping that Ace would have better time at figuring out what was going on with Hunt than they would.

(( I was thinking that after this we could skip ahead a little bit, like 2 or so weeks, and Hunt's kinda calmed down, but won't really talk to no one but Ace. They go far out from the cabin one night and make camp, when they wake up Hunt is gone and that's when they're attacked by the people who took him? Does that sound ok? (: ))

Ace hugged him close, rubbing his back gently. "I've got you." He whispered. He glanced to the others when they slipped out of the room before gently pulling Hunt down to sit on the bed with him.

Nick frowned as he watched them. He glanced to Hailey and nodded, following her out of the room and closing the door behind them.

Hunt let Ace sit him down, stilling clinging tightly onto him. He listened as the other two left the room, his shoulders relaxing greatly after that.
"What the hell is wrong with me?" he asked, his voice breaking as he had begun to cry,"I didn't mean to push Hailey. I didn't wanna hurt her."

Hailey went out of the room with Nick, sighing heavily and rubbing her forehead in frustration. This was a mess, just a mess. She went into the room that was going to be the girls, not wanting to confront the others in the living room right now.

Ace held him close. “You’re just exhausted I think Hunt. We’ve been through a lot lately and you haven’t been eating and sleeping like normal. It’s probably messing with your head.” He explained softly, rubbing his back as he tried to comfort him. “I know you didn’t mean to hurt her. She’ll be okay though.”

Nick followed after Hailey, wanting to check on her. “You sure you’re okay? It sounded like you hit your head pretty hard.” He said gently, moving and standing in front of her.

"I don't know. I feel like I'm just...acting. I've always been bad at keeping my mouth shut when I should, but I've never...It's never been like this," Hunt cried, sniffling. He tightened his hold around Ace as he sat with him.

"Yeah I'm alright. Might have a bump I think," Hailey replied softly, reaching back and feeling her head, wincing a little bit,"Yeah there's bump back there. But it's fine."

Ace nodded. “Okay. So what does it feel like? Is it like you can’t stop the words?” He asked gently as he held him. He was trying to understand so they could figure out a solution together before the fights led to someone getting seriously hurt.

Nick nodded. “Okay.” He agreed. He kissed her forehead lightly. “That should help.” He assured with a faint smile, trying to focus on her and not his anger or anything else.

"Yeah I...I think so. They just come out if I don't meant them too. And-And when I pushed Hailey, I was thinking about Nick but she was just right there and....I didn't actually mean to do it," Hunt said with a shake of his head, sobbing harder.

Hailey smiled softly from the kiss.
"Thanks," she replied, her face falling after a moment though,"Did you see him after he pushed me? He looked so scared Nick."

Ace nodded. “I know you didn’t mean to. But she’s okay. And we’re gonna figure out what’s going on.” He assured, rubbing his back. “Once you’ve calmed down a bit, we’re gonna eat and then get some sleep, that should help.”

Nick smiled weakly. “I know. I saw. It’s just weird. Like there’s two warring sides of him and he can’t get control almost. Either that or he was worried I was gonna hurt him for hurting you.” He agreed.

"Everyone's gonna look at me different now. Nick is mad at me I know he is, Hailey is probably disappointed and the others...I know they heard everything," Hunt said, pulling his head back a bit so he could look at Ace, tears running down his cheeks,"I don't want anything to be different."

"He might have been," Hailey replied, considering that to be an option. Was his fear because he hurt Hailey or because he was afraid of Nick? Or both? She didn't know...Hopefully Ace was getting something outta him that they could work with.

Ace gently wiped the tears off his cheeks. “I know. But it’ll be alright. One bad day isn’t gonna change everything that much. I promise.” He assured, holding his face in his hands. “I got you and we’ll handle the others together.”

Nick shrugged slightly. “Yeah. I don’t know but we’ll just leave them alone for a while and then go from there.” He assured her softly. He watched her for a moment.

Hunt tried to believe Ace, wanting to believe that the others wouldn't treat him any different because of what happened today. Sniffling some more, he leaned his face into one of Ace's cheeks.
"I'm sorry I'm acting like this...I don't know why...I'm just...scared," he replied.

"Yeah that sounds like the plan," Hailey replied, moving and sitting down on one of the beds with a heavy sigh, rubbing her forehead again as she thought a little bit.

“I know. It’s okay that you’re scared. That’s what you’ve got me for. To distract you from that.” He assured him softly, rubbing his cheek with his thumb. “Things will work out. Nicks been temperamental lately too so you both probably just keep setting the other off.”

Nick nodded. “What can I do?” He asked her softly since he had no idea. He had to try and fix what he could.

Hunt listened to those words and nodded a few times, trying to believe them and put it in his brain. He wanted to make everything okay with himself. He needed to or else he wasn't sure what he was gonna do...

"Just...I don't know," Hailey said with a sigh, sending him a somewhat tired smile,"Come sit down with me?"

Ace nodded. He shifted and pulled hunt over so they were laying together on the bed before wrapping his arms around him again. “It’ll be okay.”

Nick nodded. He came over and sat down beside her. He leaned his head on her shoulders. “Ace is still good for him at least..”

Hunt allowed Ace to do as he wished, snuggling up close with him. He put his forehead on his as he tried to relax, his sobs calming down after a little bit to just little sniffles.
"I love you Ace," he whispered to him.

Hailey sighed when Nick came over, resting her head back on his as well.
"Yeah he is. I am glad that they worked everything out," she replied.

Ace kept rubbing his back and trying to comfort him however he could. “I love you too Hunt.” He told him without hesitation. He moved close and kissed his cheek.

Nick wrapped an arm around her. “Me too. It’s gonna be fine and we’re all gonna be okay.” He promised her.

Hunt accepted the kiss that he got, sniffling more and wiping at his eyes to get rid of his tears. He was more relaxed now than he was earlier, now just really tired. Yawning a little, he shook his head.
"I think I need to eat something small," he told Ace, not having eaten anything all say after all.

Hailey nodded at Nicks words, hoping that was correct. She wanted everything to be okay, to go back to normal.

Ace nodded slightly. “Okay. We’ve got burgers or I can just grab some snack stuff. Whatever you prefer.” He told him gently, trying to do what he could.

Nick hugged her close for a minute. “It’ll be fine.0 he promised softly.

Hailey hugged him back, nodding.
"Okay," she replied, turning her head and giving his cheek a small kiss.

Ace nodded slightly. “I’ll be right back.” He promised. He got up and went to the kitchen, grabbing them both an apple, a knife, the jar of peanut butter, and two glasses of juice before coming back. He set the stuff on the nightstand for them.

Nick smiled faintly and held her close to him. “We can head back to the others if you want. Or we can just take it easy.”

Hunt nodded and let him get up to get the food, wiping the remainder of the tears off of his face. He was afraid of leaving this room but he didn't wanna be in here with Victo later. He didn't want to hear whatever the kid was gonna say to him. Maybe he would sleep outside...

"We should probably get up, let everyone know we're okay for now," Hailey nodded.
