Nick shrugged. “I can probably go instead once Hailey is up. I know you guys want to go check out whatever you found yesterday.” He offered. He didn’t mind Hunt’s offer but he’d Rather go or have hailey go, wanting to protect all of the rest of them. They were younger so he didn’t want to risk them.

"I don't mind. Not like it's gonna take a long time anyways," Hunt replied with a shrug, moving his arms above his head and stretching. He was about to put another spoonful of food in his mouth when a small shrieking yelp made him jump about a foot in the air.

The source of this yelp was Hailey, who had woken up just a few moments ago and had come face to face with a fairly large spider. She was currently sitting, holding her blanket to her chest and watching as the spider started walking off opposite direction to their little set up.

Nick shrugged. "We'll figure it out when Hailey's up." He decided quietly, not wanting to argue it with Hunt. Nick just wanted to keep them safe, and while he didn't doubt Hunt's ability to fight off some erasers, he'd rather just avoid that situation even happening. He jumped slightly when Hailey yelped, quickly turning to face her. He looked her over and around before seeing the spider. Nick quietly came over to her.
"It won't eat you. Promise." He reassured gently, watching to make sure the spider was going away from them. If not, he'd probably either pick it up and move it or just squish it.

"Oh shut up," Hailey said in a grumble, wiping her face with her hands to get the sleep out of them, and the shock. She normally didn't mind spiders and bugs, but when she woke up with one inches from her face, well, she didn't exactly take kindly to that. Blinking rapidly, she looked around to see everyone else awake."How long was I asleep?"

"You've been out for a good....6 hours I'd say honestly, maybe even 7," Hunt replied to her, seeing how it was probably around 10 by now, since they had a bit of a late start to the morning.

"You must've needed it," Zar told her, motioning to the bowl of oatmeal that Nick had put by her side for when she woke up.

Nick brushed his hand against her shoulder gently, trying to provide a bit of comfort without being too obvious. "You should eat. Then we'll sort out a plan for the day." He told her, sitting down beside her.

Faye nodded slightly. "Everyone seems to have gotten a lot of sleep.. Guess we all really needed it." She commented before glancing at Hunt, "Except you for some reason.."

Hailey smiled softly from Nick's touch, nodding her head at his words and grabbing the bowl of oatmeal. She instinctively moved a little bit closer to him when he took a seat next to her, not like super close, but closer than they normally sat.
"I can'y believe I slept so long," she said before taking a bite of her food.

"Like Zar said, probably needed it," Hunt replied, looking at Faye when she spoke to him and he shrugged,"Eh, just have a lot of random energy I suppose. No biggie."

Nick smiled faintly when he noticed her shift a little closer. It wasn't much but it still was nice to see her move closer to him. He kept quiet, letting them talk. He'd let Hailey wake up and eat her breakfast before bringing up that they needed to sort out a plan for the day.

Faye rolled her eyes. "I know. It's just kinda weird for you it seems. You're like the most typical teenager of us. You can eat like half your body weight and still be hungry and usually you sleep more." She noted quietly.

Hunt knew her words were true, he was the hardest sleeper and eater out of everyone in the Flock. He was a teenage boy after all, a large one at that. It was just how it was. Still, he just shrugged.
"Just wasn't that tired last night," he replied.

"Wait you stayed up the whole night?" Hailey asked, raising her eyebrows with slight surprise. She figured Nick would have woken up soon after she laid down and ordered him to sleep...

"Well all of you guys were dead to the world and I wasn't tired. So I figured it would be a waste waking someone and ending up staying awake anyways," Hunt replied, finishing off his food and water before looking at Nick,"So about the list of stuff we need. Want me to start checking everything?"

Faye rolled her eyes but let him be. She stayed near Zar and kept quiet as the others seemed to sort out the plan for the day.

Nick glanced at Hailey. "I tried to convince him. He didn't want to and so oh well," He commented faintly before looking back to Nick. "Sure, let's get that done and then we'll sort out who will go for supplies and stuff." He agreed.

Hailey didn't blame Nick or anything, she was just surprised. Nodding to his words, she continued to eat her food, not saying anything more for the moment.

"I already told you that I would do it," Hunt replied to Nick with a small frown, standing up from his spot,"The rest of you should get some RnR, ya know? Obviously you all needed it."

Nick sighed and watched Hunt. "I don't want you doing it though. I'd rather you and all the others stay here or go check out the park you found or something." He said quietly, not admitting the truth that he just wanted to protect them all as much as possible and keep them away from where anyone could get taken.

"Why? Dude, I know what I'm doing, alright? I've gone on runs countless times before, not like this time will be different," Hunt replied, obviously getting a little irritated. But he could be quick to frustrate sometimes if he didn't get his way."Shouldn't you stay here right the others anyways? Being leader and all, you know? Strength in numbers or whatever if something happens to attack here."

Nick sighed softly. He wasn't trying to upset Hunt. "And if something attacks you?" He muttered in reply to his last comment. "Either way is a risk but I'd rather have you here to defend the others if something happened instead of you being off alone."

"Why do you guys do this, huh? You and Hailey, insist of doing things by yourselves?" Hunt suddenly asked, obviously irritated,"The rest of us are perfectly capable you know? You don't have to treat us like we're fucking incapable."

"Hey Hunt, language," Hailey said from her spot, giving him a pointed look and then sighed heavily,"Just listen to Nick, alright? He knows what he's talking about. Besides he's the one that got a good nights sleep last night, he'd be able to defend himself better than a kid that stayed up all night. You're the one that needs some RnR."

Hunt looked at Hailey when she spoke and frowned even heavier, shaking his head.
"Whatever. Do whatever the hell you want," he grumbled, moving away from the group.

Nick rolled his eyes. He always tried to protect them. They were family and Nick and Hailey were the oldest; they naturally took on sort of the leader roles and would risk themselves a million times first before putting any of the others at risk. "You're not incapable Hunt. We are just trying to do what's best for us all and keep us all safe." He said quietly, watching him grumble and walk off.

Ace sighed at them both before getting up to go follow after Hunt.

Hailey frowned when Hunt walked off and she normally would have gone after him, cursed at him a bit about being an idiot and drug him back by the ear. But this seemed a little different, Hunt seemed actually angry this time. Maybe he just needed some space...
"He didn't mean it Nick," she said to him, not wanting him to feel bad or anything," Just give him a little bit, he'll get over it. I'll help you count everything." Her oatmeal was about half eaten, but she drank all her water before pushing herself up and brushing her jeans off.

Hunt didn't go that far, just to the edge of the woods where he hopefully wouldn't he disturbed. He put his forehead on one of the trees and took a deep breath, letting it out slowly and repeated this.

Nick shrugged at him. "I don't care what he means or didn't. My priority is to keep us all safe, which means I don't want him going off alone on a supply run." He said faintly, shrugging. He got up when she did and moved to start counting supplies.

Ace followed quietly, giving him a chance to take a few deep breaths before moving and gently brushing his hand against Hunt's.

"I know that," Hailey replied, not wanting him to be frustrated. She moved over to where they kept all of the stuff and started counting, starting with the medical supplies first and writing everything down on a notepad that they had. With everything that was going on with her and Nick being hurt, they were horribly low on medical supplies.

Hunt just continued to breath, shutting his eyes as he did so to try and calm himself. He jumped when he felt someone touch him, turning to see Ace standing there though. He relaxed again and just continued to breath afterwards.

Nick took care of tallying up some of their food and other supplies while she handled the medical stuff. He came over and would write quick notes on the notepad before backing off again. It was easier to just split up the task rather than one of them having to take a lot more time to do it.

Ace hesitated before gently slipping his hand into Hunt's and holding it gently. He didn't say anything, just rubbing his hand and letting him calm down.

Hailey was silent as she did this with Nick, counting everything they needed and writing it down. It didn't actually take that long so when she was done, she just handed off the notepad to Nick with everything on it.

It was just a few minutes of Hunt breathing, him holding Ace's hand back as he stood there. Finally, his breaths evened out and he opened his eyes, looking over at Ace and swallowing thickly.
"Thank you," he whispered to him.

Nick took the list and wrote down the last things he needed to add. He glanced over it all. "Lots of medical stuff it seems." He mumbled quietly, glancing over to her.

Ace nodded slightly. "Yeah, of course." He reassured gently, smiling at him.

"I mean we did use almost of it the past, what, 2 weeks," Hailey replied with a shrug of her shoulders. She looked over to where Hunt and Ace were to make sure they were doing okay still before looking back to Nick."Don't want any of us to go with you? Help carry and what not?" She wasn't gonna force it, if Nick wanted to go alone, as much as she hated it, she would let him.

Hunt sighed heavily and leaned his back against the tree, keeping hold of Ace's hand though.
"I didn't mean to get that irritated, I just....," he shook his head, not knowing how to explain it without sounding dumb.

Nick nodded slightly, "Yeah." He muttered. He thought for a moment before shrugging and looking at Hunt. "Hey Hunt, if you really want to go, maybe we can both go? It'll get done lots quicker?" He offered, trying to sort of extend the olive branch and resolve things.

Ace nodded slightly. "It's annoying that they are so very protective sometimes." He finished for him quietly.

Hunt nodded his head at Ace's words, that being about how he felt right now. When he heard Nick's words, he tensed up a little bit. Frowning, he just shook his head. No, he didn't wanna be alone with Nick right now.

Hailey watched Hunt decline the offer and sighed, rubbing her forehead a bit in frustration.
"I'll...talk to him while you're gone. See what might be eating him up," she said to Nick, wanting to offer up Faye or Zar to go with him, but not wanting to seem pushy.

Ace rubbed his hand gently, staying by his side. "we'll slip off for a bit. Or convince Hailey to let us go to that park or something." He suggested gently.

Nick shook his head. "Let Ace handle it.." He suggested. "I'll be fine and back soon." He assured her.

Hunt nodded in response to Ace's words, biting his lower lip gently. He wasn't 100% sure what was up with his attitude either. He was so...more irritable for the past little while.

Hailey nodded to Nick, scratching the back of her head,
"Alright. Just be careful," she replied.

Ace rubbed his hand gently and watched him. "Lets just walk around a bit?" He offered.

Nick nodded. "I will be. Anything else you want to add to the list?" He offered, moving to grab a bag to carry it all back a bit easier.

"Yeah, okay," Hunt replied, moving away from the tree. He glanced back at the other for a moment before he dipped into the woods with Ace, keeping hold of his hand. He knew better than to go too far out though, Hailey would come a looking if they were gone too long.

Hailey thought about it for a moment, trying to think but she didn't think of anything else they needed.
"Nope, nothing of necessity," she replied. She thought of things that could maybe make everyone around be in a little better mood, but that cost money that they really didn't have.

Ace smiled a bit and followed after him, squeezing his hand gently. "How come you didn't sleep?" He asked gently, looking over at him. HE didn't worry about Hailey following, hoping she'd realize that Hunt needed the space.

Nick nodded slightly. "Okay." He took the list from her and tucked it into the bag. He wouldn't risk getting more than what they needed unless he got a good opportunity that wouldn't be too dangerous for him to pull off.

Hunt looked at him and sighed.
"I just couldn't sleep. My minds was just...racing with thoughts and I just couldn't...shut it off," he replied with a shrug of his shoulders.

Hailey watched him, crossing her arms over her chest as she looked around for a moment.
"Be safe," she told him, offering a small smile.

(( Oh you know...I just kinda had an idea. I dunno if it's a good idea....but it's an idea haha so...what if, like, the School starts messing around with Hunt's mind. Like they're able to sorta mind control him in a way. I was thinking that he and someone else could get into kinda a nasty argument and he ends up leaving in the middle of the night. They can try to search for him, put end up getting attacked like Erasers and they need to run away. Then, like, a few weeks could pass, like 2 or 3, and they get attacked again, but Hunt is actually helping out the Erasers, due to the whole mind control thing. It's just an interesting idea I had haha what do you think? (: ))

Ace nodded slightly. "Okay. Do you want to talk about what your mind was racing with?" He offered gently to him, trying to help.

Nick nodded. "I will be." He reassured. He said goodbye to the others before quickly taking off and heading high up in the sky.

Hailey stood and watched as he took off, sighing once he was gone before returning over to the group of them. She rummaged through her backpack a little bit, trying to figure out which of her clothes were the cleanest. She hadn't been able to clean any of them before they needed to leave the cabin...maybe that's what she would do today, wash everyone's clothes.

Ace nodded. He rubbed Hunt's hand gently. "alright. Well, it's probably just stress or something. We'll figure it out." He reassured.

Faye looked over at Hailey as she rummaged through her bag. "We found some sort of old park at the lake not far from here, can we go there today?" She asked once Nick had left, figuring Hailey would be more open to the idea.

"I don't mind, I was thinking about washing all the clothes anyways so yeah," she replied.

Faye nodded slightly. "Alright. I'm guessing you want to wait for Nick to return though or can we go now?" She asked her curiously. She guessed Hailey would want to wait.

"Yeah I'm feeling a bit better now, thanks to you," he replied, giving his hand a small squeeze as they walked.

Hailey thought about that for a moment. Nick wasn't gonna be back for a little while and, even though she wanted to wait for him, she always wanted to get stuff done while he was gone. So she just shrugged.
"We can go now, if you guys give me all your dirty clothes," she replied.

Victor automatically perked up when Hailey said they could go now, looking to Faye for further confirmation that they were able to go play.

“Good. Then hopefully I can do this,” He Mumbled, facing him and giving him s gentle kiss on the cheek. He moved back after a moment, looking away from him.

Faye nodded. “Alright.” She smiled a bit and glanced to Vic. “You heard her. We’ve just gotta get all the clothes first,” she confirmed, moving and getting up. She gathered up their dishes from breakfast first.

Hunt blinked when he got the kiss on the cheek and he chuckled softly, a pink tint on his cheeks now. He took it a step further though and moved his hand to Ace's chin, turning his head so he was facing him again and kissed him.

Victor nodded and went to his backpack, going through all of his clothes and handing them over to Hailey. He always went over to Hunt, Ace and Nick's backpacks and starting grabbing their clothes as well to be washed.

Hailey watched this and smiled, getting a trash bag out of her backpack.
"Just put everything in here Vic," she told him.

"He's certainly excited," Zar replied, helping Cassandra with her backpack and handing her clothes off to Hailey.

Ace smiled a bit st Hunt, kissing him back gently. He stepped closer and slipped an arm around him loosely.

Faye gathered their dishes since she planned on taking care of them when they were down at the water too. She then sat back with Zar to get her own clothes out to be washed. “Yeah. But I think that’s good. He should have some good things to be excited about.”

Case thanked her faintly for the help, letting Zar take her clothes to pass off to Hailey.

Hunt smiled against his lips, putting one hand on Aces hips as he kissed him. It was still almost like a dream to him, being able to so this with him. He never thought he'd be able to, but here they were.

Zar nodded her head in agreement, going through her stiff afterwards and giving everything to Hailey. She would probably end up helping her wash them.

Victor came back over once he went through all the guys bags, putting their clothes in the trashbag and smiling at Hailey.
"Thanks for letting us go," he said to her with a smile.

Hailey smiled back at him and reached over, ruffling his hair.
"No problem kiddo," she replied.

Ace cupped his cheek gently with his other hand, smiling against his lips. He pulled away after a moment, smiling shyly. He still didn’t know how this had worked out between them but he was glad it had. It felt right to him.

Faye smiled a bit and helped get the rest of the clothes before closing up her bag. “I think we’re all set. Do you want all the stuff brought down there with us or do you think we can set it aside somewhere and it’ll be fine?” She asked Hailey, thinking it would be smarter to take it with them but it wasn’t up to her in the end.

Hunt kissed him happily until he moved away, smiling after he did. He pecked his lips one more time quickly before moving back and taking his hand off of his hips.
"You're cute," he complimented him.

"Take it with us. I'll get it done while we're down there," Hailey replied,"I'll leave a note for Ace and Hunt too so they know where we went. They can meet us there."

“So are you. You’re more than cute though. Cute is too simple for you.” Ace mumbled, trying to think of a better word to describe him.

Faye nodded slightly. “They’ll probably be back in a few. But okay.” She Agreed, getting up. “It’ll be good to leave one for nick too unless you think we’ll be back by then..” she suggested.

"How about sexy? Or hot? Or...drop dead gorgeous?" Hunt offered a few options for him, totally teasing around of course. He grinned at him, a small tinkle in his eyes.

"Yeah I'm just gonna leave one for all of them, let them know where we went," Hailey replied, writing up something quick for all the guys and leaving it by the fire pit they had made last night. Grabbing the bag of clothes, she looked at everyone."Ready?"

"Uh huh," Victor said excitedly, his smile wide.

Ace blushed a bit, "Hmm, yep. Yeah, all those work." He agreed with a smile, shrugging at him before glancing away.

Faye made sure Cass was okay and ready to go, along with Zar. "Want to lead the way Vic?" She offered to him, knowing how excited he was and they'd all be close enough together that they could keep him safe if anything happened.

"Good," Hunt replied, seeing that he was a little embarrassed. That was really cute. Sighing softly, he started walking with him again, not in the direction of the others though, but not further in either. Just kinda circling the area.

"Sure!" Victor replied, taking a few steps away from the others before running and jumping up, his wings coming out and he went up a little bit higher to wait for the others.

"Go on," Hailey instructed all the others to go before she did, going to take the rear.

Zar went up afterwards so she'd be able to be right behind Victor.

Ace walked with him quietly, staying close by his side. He looked around, lost in his own thoughts and not saying much for once.

Faye smiled brightly. She took off after Zar, following Vic up higher into the sky and making sure Cass stayed close by in the middle where she was always more comfortable.

"Think we're gonna be sticking around here for much longer?" Hunt asked Ace a little bit into their walk, looking over to him.

Hailey was the last to go up after Cass, holding onto the bag of their clothes as she followed the group of them. Victor really seemed to know where he was going, which was good cause she didn't know where it was at all.

Ace shrugged. "Probably not very long. Nick will want to keep moving I'm guessing." He commented quietly. "Plus winter is coming, it'll be best to find a building at least.

Faye followed after Vic, trusting him to lead the way back to the lake. She remembered how to get there but thought it was good to give Vic a chance and let him lead.

"Good point," Hunt replied, hating the winter time. It was his least favorite by far, just too damn cold all the time and it made it super hard to fly.

It didn't take too long to get there, Victor landing once he was there. He was still young so his landings were always a little rocky, but he managed.

Zar and Hailey also landed just fine, both of them checking out the area since neither of them had seen it before.
"Huh, that's pretty cool," Hailey commented.
