Nick bit his bottom lip lightly, focusing a bit. He braided the rest of her hair. “Can I have a hair tie?” He asked her quietly, going to tie it off so she could at least look at it and decide if she wanted to leave it or not. “Wonder how he figured that out. And how well he did. It doesn’t look too bad from what I can tell.” Faye commented, smiling softly. She watched the two of them together.

Hailey caught on to what he was doing after a moment since Faye had braided her hair for her a few times as well, Hailey just wasn't good at braiding her own hair. "Yeah here," she replied, passing the hair tie that she always used over to him and trying to hold back a smile. It was just....it was cute that he was doing this and she knew for a fact that he'd never do this with any of the other girls.
"Yeah it looks like he did a decent job. He's trying at least," Zar replied.
Nick took the hairtie from her and gently tied off the braid. She handed her brush back, leaning and kissing her cheek before backing off from her a little bit. Faye nodded. “It seems that Hunt got lost though.” She commented, looking around.

Hailey let him do his thing and took the brush back from him once he was finished. Blushing from the kiss he got, she reached behind her to feel the braid. It felt like....a braid. Smiling, she turned around to look at him."How'd you learn to do that?" she asked.
"He has been gone for a little while hasn't he," Zar replied, also taking a quick glance around.
“Observing.” Nick shrugged. “Faye braids her hair a lot. And has done all of your guys hair too.” He explained. He ran a hand through his hair and glanced around. “Imma go find hunt.” He commented with a shrug. Faye shrugged. “He’s probably trying to carry an entire tree back. Or maybe he found a bear.” She commented softly.

Hailey smiled at him, just thinking how sweet it was really. Nick was totally different when he was around her huh? Faye had been right. When he mentioned Hunt that was when she realized he wasn't back yet and she furrowed her eyebrows."Okay, be careful though," she said, wondering what was keeping him.
"Probably the tree thing knowing him," Zar replied.
Nick nodded. “Always am.” He assured with a smile, heading off into the trees in the same way hunt had gone. Once hidden, he opened up his wings and took off. He could cover more ground by flying through the trees. Faye nodded. “Looks like nick is gonna go looking. Which is good. But also a shame because there could’ve been more of a really cute moment just then.” She commented, holding Zar.

Hunt was a bit away from the site, far enough that flying was probably a good idea. He was leaning against one of the trees with his arms crossed, looking up at the sky. There was a pile of logs next to him that he had gathered and was certainly prepared to go back, but he just wasn't yet."Yeah there couldn't been. They've probably get some alone time tonight though," Zar replied.
Nick flew out a ways, searching around until he saw Hunt. He flew down and landed near him. “You good?” He asked quietly. He looked fine so nick didn’t worry, it was just weird for him to disappear. Faye shrugged. “Oh well. They’ll get their moment later I guess. It’s just nice to see them finally acting on it..” she commented. “I guess we should probably get up and help with food..”

Hunt was lost in thought when Nick came down next to him and he looked over, offering a small, almost sad looking smile."Yeah yeah, I'm good. I'm good, sorry I...didn't come back quick," he said, running his fingers through his hair and he reached down to gather up the logs he got.
"Yeah," Zar replied to her first words and then nodded to the second,"Probably a good idea." She untangled herself from Faye and looked over at Hailey."Plan for food Hailey?"
"I'm looking," Hailey replied as she searched through her food stash, not wanting to make a run into town right now. Maybe tomorrow, but not now.
“It’s fine. I just came to check on ya.” Nick shrugged. He helped him pick up the logs. “You sure you’re alright? I flew right over you and you didn’t even notice..” he told her. Faye watched and nodded. “I think there’s another bag either by hunts stuff or somewhere.” She commented, looking for the other bag. She got up after a moment and found it by nick’s stuff. She brought it over to Hailey.

"Yeah dude I'm...I'm good," Hunt replied as he gathered up half of the jogs, figuring Nick would wanna help him carry them,"I was just thinking. no biggie. Lets go back." He opened up his wings and took off. Hunt was never good at sharing what he was thinking about, not to anyone except sometimes Ace. But even then, it took a whole lot of persuasion and time to get him to say anything.Hailey looked up when Faye came over to her with Nick's bag, opening it up and looking. After a second she nodded and pulled out some of the freeze dried meals that they had taken from the cabin.
"That'll work for the night, we just need water," she replied, also pulling out some fruit they had like apples, pears and oranges and bread they managed to take before they left the cabin.
Nick grabbed the other half of the logs and moved to take off. “Alright..” he knew better than to push hunt to try and talk. It wasn’t his place. It was ace’s usually to be Hunt’s confidant about what went on and he wasn’t gonna get in the way. He flew back to the campground with Hunt. Faye nodded. “Did we grab the water jugs?” She asked, not knowing where they were but they usually always had them with them. She looked around.

"Um yeah, over by Hunt's stuff he grabbed some," Hailey replied as she divided everything up equally so everyone got about the same portion. And, of course, added a bit for for Hunt because the kid just needed it.Hunt was silent as they flew back to the campsite and set the logs down by the fire. Running his fingers through his hair again, he moved over to where his stuff was and sat down.
Faye nodded. She went over and got the water from Hunt’s stuff. He brought it over to Hailey and helped her with getting the food ready. Ace was curled up on top of his blankets, half asleep and facing Hunt’s stuff. He opened his eyes and glanced at him when he saw Hunt. “Welcome back. Did ya miss me?” He asked curiously.
Nick set down the rest of the wood and added a little bit more to the fire before coming over to Hailey and the others.

Hunt looked over when he heard Ace's words and he chuckled softly, but it didn't have much emotion behind it at all."Yeah, sure," he replied, looking away from him after that and sighed deeply.
Hailey worked on getting the food ready, glancing up at Hunt for a moment and doing a double take. He seemed really off, not at all how he was acting earlier. What had happened? She gave a small glance to Nick to silently ask if he knew anything.
Ace frowned and sat up. “Okay, Seriously, what’s up?” He asked. He glanced at him. “We can go talk..” He offered after a moment in a quieter voice, concerned about him and wanting to try and follow Hailey’s advice. They just had to try. Nick shook his head slightly before nodding his head towards ace as if to let her know that he was gonna let ace try to handle it. He didn’t know why Hunt was acting off but ace would be the most likely to figure it out.

"Nothing man, I'm cool I don't....wanna talk about it," Hunt replied with a shake of his head,"Drop it, alright?" He ran his fingers through his hair afterwards and just looked off, not actually looking at anyone.Hailey saw his look and she nodded, knowing how Hunt was sometimes. He was able to hold it together very well most of the time, but sometimes things really bothered him. This was probably one of those moments and he either needed to talk to Ace or just let it pass.
Ace sighed. “Fine. But after we eat, can we go talk? I’ve got stuff to talk to you about...” he said softly. He wanted a chance to talk to him alone though he knew now it needed to be more about whatever was going through Hunt’s mind. Nick shrugged and sat down near Hailey. He yawned and stayed out of the way, just wanting to be close in proximity to her for a little bit. He kept an eye on hunt and ace for a moment.

Hunt listened to him and thought about it for a moment before he nodded slightly."I'm not....very hungry so I guess we can talk whenever you're ready," he replied.
Hailey put the water into all of the bags so the food could re hydrate and she sighed, also stealing some glances at the boys. She had to wonder if Ace was what was bothering Hunt or if it was something else too.
Ace frowned and got up. “Alright then. Let’s go talk..” he said faintly, coming over to him and waiting for him to get up. He watched him worriedly, unsure what was going on. Not being hungry was a huge red flag when it came to hunt. He was always hungry. Nick glanced at Hailey, reaching and lightly poking her side. “Do you think you could keep watch for an hour or so after we eat so I could get in a quick nap?” he asked her softly.

(( I'm glad that Ace recognizes there's trouble xD when Hunt isn't hungry there's something horribly wrong! Lol ))Hunt nodded his head a bit and stood up, glancing at the others for a moment before going with Ace wherever he wanted to go. He wasn't in the mood to talk right now, but if Ace wanted to say something to him, well, he would listen.
Hailey was watching the boys, but looked over when she was poked.
"How about I just take first watch so you can get some sleep and then I'll wake you up when I start getting tired?" she suggested with an innocent looking smile over at him.
(( xD Yep. It’s a big concern when it’s hunt not eating. Lol)Ace walked away and slipped into the trees so the flock wouldn’t hear as much. “Okay. I did have stuff to say. But now I’m just really worried. Whats going on in there?” He asked gently, looking hunt over. He kept a bit of space between them despite wanting to get much closer.
“Hmmmm.” Nick debated. “I don’t need that much sleep though..” he protested, wanting her to get rest. He didn’t sleep much anyways so he could get away with a few quick naps and it would be enough to keep him going.

"Then sleep as much as you need to and then you can take over," Hailey replied with a small roll of her eyes. He was so, just....Nick.Hunt followed him into the trees, listening to his words and shaking his head.
"You said that you wanted to talk to me, not me talk to you. I'll listen to what you wanna tell me, but I don't wanna talk about anything right now," he replied to him.
Nick rolled his eyes. “But that’s practically the same as... never mind.” He shrugged, yawning. “Don’t let me sleep too much. I’ve slept way too much lately..”Ace bit his lip and shuffled his feet. “We talked and then we kissed. I know you remember that.. and then just nothing. Nothing else has happened..” he said quietly. “And I really want something to happen. I just. I don’t. Do you want something out of what this is or no?” He Mumbled, gesturing between them.

"I'll let you sleep as long as you sleep for," Hailey replied with a small grin, knowing that his body was still recovering a little bit even though his wound was really all taken care of. It wasn't infected anymore, at least not that they saw and they just kept his wrapped up mainly during the day when he was moving around.Hunt listened to him talk, blinking slowly. Sighing, he ran his fingers through his hair.
"I was waiting for you Ace, you.....I thought you would be happier knowing that I liked you but you....weren't acting the way I expected you to," he replied and shrugged,"I was waiting for a sign, for you to tell me you were okay with something more happening. When I didn't get it I just....you know, figured you rejected me and there wasn't any point in trying anymore."
Nick rolled his eyes. “Fine..” He said softly. He smiled a bit at her. He was doing better. His leg was still wrapped up since part of the wound hadn’t healed all the way yet but it didn’t seem infected so he just left it alone. Ace relaxed a bit when hunt said that he practically felt the same. “I. I was waiting for a sign from you...” He Mumbled back faintly. “So. I guess this counts as your giant sign to one another?” He asked faintly, smiling gently at him and hoping this would maybe turn out okay.

Hailey smiled and leaned over to kiss him very quickly before any of the others could start their little coddling about it. Of course she saw Vince look over at her when she did it and smile a little bit and Zar caught it, of course, along with everyone else. As long as no one commented, well, she could act like it wasn't a big deal."Alright these are probably done," she said, opening up one of the packets and stirring it around to check. It was. So she handed that one over to Cass and then checked another for Victor."Dig in guys."
Hunt frowned slightly from Ace's words, looking at him and sighing a little. Again, running his fingers through his hair he took a few small steps closer to him.
"So you do like me Ace? Really?" he asked, needing confirmation unlike last time where the two weren't exactly sure.
Nick kissed her back lightly when she kissed him, smiling and leaning back when she pulled away. He noticed that they’d been caught by practically everyone but that was okay. It wasn’t bad for them to be together, it was actually probably a good thing.Case thanked her and took the pack, staying close to victor. (Is it victor or Vince? I think we’ve been using both names) she started eating.
Ace looked him over. “Yes. I really like you. I was waiting for some sign from you because I wasn’t sure and I see that that kinda just screwed it all up. But yes. I like you.” He assured

(( I can never remember that kids name XD I just looked and it is Victor, I've just been using Vince cause that's one of my friends names hahaha ))Hailey checked all of the other ones and passed them out, looking up to see if Ace and Hunt were on their way back. They still were gone though so she just set theirs aside for a moment and leaned back a little bit, accidentally into Nick.
"Oh sorry," she said and straightened up.
Hunt listened to his words and nodded a little bit, staying still for a moment before he moved. Walking closer to him, he moved a bit slowly and wrapped his arms around his waist, bringing his head down and resting it on his shoulder.
((XD it’s all good. They started with the same letter at least.))Nick moved and slipped his arm around her when she leaned into him. He smiled a bit and held her for a moment. “No worries.” He assured faintly before letting her go. He took his own food, thanking her.
Ace shifted and wrapped his arms around hunt, leaning his head on his shoulder as well for a moment. He closed his eyes and took a breath before lifting his head and gently kissing his cheek, hesitant.

Hailey smiled a little bit, glad that it seemed like if she wanted to cuddle, Nick wouldn't mind it. But right now with all the others, well, that was still a lot for her for some reason. So she stuck to just being close to him, beginning to eat her food with the others.Hunt breathed steadily as he was there with Ace, not acting like super happy like he probably would have otherwise, he was. But he was just in an icky mood right now. It hadn't just been Ace that was bothering him. Still, he smiled when he felt the kiss and wrapped his arms a little bit tighter around him so they were against one another.

Nick sat up and ate quietly, staying near her but giving her some space. He was still a little weird about snuggling with her, cautious of it but at the same time, he just wanted to be close to her, as if making sure that what was between them was real. Ace held him close, leaning his head back on his shoulder. “What else has got you In such a bad mood? I know you don’t want to talk about but could I just know simply what it is?” He asked him faintly, worried.

For the most part the Flock ate in silence, just small conversations between all of them. Hailey kept on glancing back into the forest in hopes of seeing Ace and Hunt coming back. It was good that they were actually getting some talking, she just wished they didn't choose night time for the time to do it.Hunt was silent for a while after Ace asked that, just taking in deep breaths as he relaxed with him.
"I don't know how to explain it, I don't....know 100% what it is. I'm just....feeling icky," he replied with a shrug, wanting to just leave it at that.
Nick didn’t worry about hunt and ace, figuring they were solving whatever sexual tension was between them. He obviously didn’t say anything about that though. He just ate his food before going over to his stuff to lay down. Ace nodded. “Okay..” he agreed faintly, holding him close. He closed his eyes and just relaxed in his arms, still worried about him but there wasn’t much he could do so he’d just hold him until they were ready to head back. He didn’t worry about Hailey or Nick coming for them, figuring they’d understand.

Hailey looked at Nick when he finished eating, seeing that everyone else was finishing as well and seemed to be very ready for bed. She got up momentarily to where Nick laid down and smiled down at him."Get as much sleep as you want, alright? I'll hold down the fort," she said to him.
It was a little bit before Hunt really even moved, just stayed there like this with Ace. It was a moment that he didn't wanna move away from. Finally though be pulled back a little so he could look at him, his eyes glancing back and forth between Ace's eyes and his lips.
Nick nodded. “It’ll be a couple hours at the most. Wake me if you need me.” He told her softly, looking up at her and offering a slight smile. He yawned softly and glanced around to check on the others. Ace lifted his head to look st hunt when he shifted. He noticed him glancing at his lips and leaned in, kissing Hunt gently. He kept his arms around him and held him close.

"I will," Hailey replied and, even though she wanted to lay down with him, she wasn't able to. Even though she wanted to kiss him much longer than she probably should, she didn't, Just gave his cheek a small kiss before standing up to let him rest."Night." She moved back over with the others, starting to get the kids set up for bed and it looked like Faye and Zar weren't too far behind them.Hunt caught him leaning in and he did the same, kissing him back. It was great, he had kissed him before yeah but this time there was just more feeling to it then the first time. It was a lot more intense then the others times and it was....a lot. But really nice. He sighed softly against his lips, deepening it a little bit.
Nick smiled softly and watched her for a moment. He then curled up on his side and quickly dozed off into a dreamless sleep. It was often pretty easy for him to go to sleep, especially when he knew Hailey was keeping watch since she’d wake him at any signs of trouble. Ace deepened the kiss a bit, not really sure what he was doing but it felt right and hunt hadn’t pulled away so it must’ve been alright. He gently cupped Hunt’s cheek as they kept kissing, staying close.

Hunt was content with this, being this way. This is what he really needed to know that Ace liked him too. Just a little bit more of a push, a little it more proof. Hunt didn't do much more with the kiss past this even though, well, he wanted to. He was a teenage boy, what did you except? Instead, he just kissed Ace until the need for air became apparent and he needed to pull away, taking the moment to catch his breath a little.
Ace kept kissing him until he needed to breathe, pulling away just slightly from Hunt but keeping his arm around him so he wouldn’t go far. He glanced him over and blushed a bit shyly, glancing away. “Second kisses are apparently better than firsts..” He Mumbled faintly, hiding a bright smile.

Ace leaned his cheek into Hunt’s touch, smiling faintly. He blushed further, his cheeks going red enough to almost match his hair. “You’re pretty handsome yourself,” ace complimented softly, looking him over. He kissed his lips again lightly.

Looking at him again when he pulled back, he kissed the very tip of his nose before beginning to untangle himself from him."We should head back, before they come looking for us."
Ace scrunched his nose up at the kiss and pouted. “Or we can stay and keep kissing. I doubt they’ll come looking for us for a bit..” he offered faintly, smirking a bit. He just wanted to keep kissing him now that he knew Hunt liked him and none of it was as tense.

Hunt looked at him when he suggested the idea, a smirk appearing on his face."I mean, that is also an option," he replied, moving his arms back around him so they were close again. He did like kissing Ace, he liked it a lot. And they did have some privacy, something that was kinda hard to find when you lived with 6 other people all the time.
“Personally, it’s my favorite option.” Ace said softly, smiling at him. He leaned up and kissed Hunt again happily once he’d moved close again, knowing a few more minutes would be okay. Hailey would probably figure that they were talking and figuring things out and that wasn’t exactly wrong, they just spent more time kissing to sort it out than talking.

Hunt smiled and kissed him back, his hands not staying in one spot like last time and instead roaming his body a little bit. Not a lot really, just rubbing up and down his back. He was glad he was able to sort things out with Ace cause really, he didn't wanna give him up. He liked him far too much.
Zar noticed what Nick was doing as she smiled a bit.
"He's trying to braid her hair, that's cute," she commented.
