Hailey shook her head when Ace asked her that.
"No nothing," he replied, not wanting to talk about it in front of the others.

Suddenly Hunt was back, smiling a little bit at them and looked at Hailey.
"I found something, c'mon. And leave your stuff here," he said before he was out of the tree again and flying.

"Okay okay, Jesus," Hailey replied, opening up her wings and going next to him.

"All of you, c'mon you damn slow pokes," he said and started weaving through the trees.

Zar nodded at the explanation, it making sense.
"They didn't seem to notice stuff was missing?" she questioned.

Ace nodded. He glanced to hunt and shook his head slightly. It didn’t seem to be a very good idea for them to all leave their stuff behind, even though they were in the middle of nowhere. He looked around quietly, hesitating and glancing at Hailey.

Faye got up with cass to go and follow wherever Hunt was heading.

“Not that I can tell. They seem pretty oblivious and like they don’t keep track of their stuff there that much.” Nick explained. “I doubt we’ll find out much more.”

Hailey saw that Ace was hesitating so she stuck behind for a moment while everyone else followed Hunt to where ever in Gods name he was taking them.
"We're up in a super high tree Ace, I'm sure it'll be okay," she said to him,"But if you really don't wanna leave it here alone I'll stay back with you."

"What did you find?" Vince asked as he followed Hunt, staying close to Faye though since weaving through trees was something he wasn't the best at. He got his wings caught a lot of the time.

"Something cool," Hunt replied. He just got in moods like this where, it didn't matte what they were currently doing, he just wanted to be doing something funner to take his, and everyone else's, mind off of stuff. And this was one of those moods.

Zar nodded and glanced around a bit, wondering how the rest of them were doing.
"Gonna stick here or head back with them?" she asked.

Ace shrugged. “if Zar leads nick back, it might freak them out to see our stuff but not us.” He commented quietly, looking at Hailey. “You can go ahead. I’m sure I’ll head all about it from Hunt later anyways.”

Faye flew just a bit below the two younger kids, knowing that weaving through trees wasn’t the easiest for them yet. That way, she’d be there to slow their fall or at least catch them without having to dive down after them.

Nick shrugged. “I’m still debating. I wanna hear if they’re planning on staying or not but that doesn’t matter much I guess. We keep watch anyways so we’d know either way..” he told her.

"Okay, well how about you go and I'll stay," Hailey suggested with a shrug, not really caring. He had a good point and maybe someone should stay behind. But it didn't have to be the both of them."You go and see what Mr. Muscle is up to and I'll wait, organize the packs or something."

Hunt lead them through the trees, of course not sure if everyone was actually there or not. Finally they made it to a clearing and he turned around with a smile.
"Ta-da," he said, pointing down below. It was a big lake with a lot of extending paths going different ways. Someone, however, had used the trees next to it to hang rope so people could jump in from the trees. There were also a few slides set up along the lake as well and a makeshift bridge so people could easily go over the little paths. It was just super neat.

"Whoa," Vince said, clearly impressed and thought it was cool looking.

"Right. Okay, we can stick around," Zar replied.

Ace shrugged. “I don’t mind staying behind.” He said softly. He looked over at Hailey. “I don’t know what to do about Hunt.” He admitted, feeling like this was an okay chance to talk. He looked around quietly.

Faye smiled. “Oooh. Fun,” She Agreed, looking around a bit. “It looks nice. Maybe we can go swim later.” She commented.

Cass nodded in agreement. “Can we?? Please?”

Nick nodded. He flew back up to perch in the tree near her. “Are all the others okay?” He asked gently.

Hailey frowned a bit and sighed softly, going to leave him there like he wanted when he spoke up about Hunt. Nodding her head, she lowered herself back down on the branch though kept her wings open.
"Okay, well didn't the two of you talk at the cabin? And kissed too from what I remember," she asked.

"Of course we can. We don't need to swim now, but you guys wanna go down and check it out?" Hunt asked, pointing down.

"Yeah yeah," Vince asked, looking to Faye to ask if it was alright.

"Hmm? Oh yeah, they're fine," Zar replied with a nod,"Like I said, just wondering about you."

“Yeah. We did. And then it just got awkward. Like neither of us know what we’re doing...” ace tried to explain. “Besides, it’s probably a bad idea to do anything anyways. It’ll just cause tension in the flock..” he reasoned.

Faye nodded. “Yeah. We can go check it out. Let’s fly back to the trees to land and then we can walk there from the road..” she told them.

Nick nodded. “Okay. Good..” He Agreed. He looked around and watched the house for a bit.

Hailey listened to him explain a little bit about what happened, nodding a little.
"I don't think it will, as long as you guys are on the same page. Because right now I don't think you are," she replied, not exactly a love expert, obviously. But she's known these boys her entire life so she had some clues as to how they worked and thought."Has Hunt tried anything after you guys kissed at the cabin? And have you tried anything with him?"

Victor nodded and flew back a little bit in the trees so he was more covered up, landing on a branch that was sorta close to the ground. Landing on the ground was still harder for him if he didn't have a lot of area to come down with.

Hunt followed and stuck close to Cass, knowing she hated heights if she was, like, in a tree or something.

“No. Neither of us have. But I don’t wanna move first if that’s not what Hunt wants. I can’t read him about this sort of thing..” ace explained quietly.

Faye followed them and landed easily. She closed her wings tight against her back and glanced then all over. She wanted to make sure nothing really stuck out about them.

"Ace it is...so painfully obvious that Hunt wants to be with you. He's been flirting with you still, just like he always does," Hailey replied to him, reaching over at touching his shoulders,"Both of you are afraid of messing up but really you both like one another. You guys just need to take that next step, you got somewhere before, you just gotta go further this time and make it clear to one another."

Hunt made his way down with the kids, making sure they were both doing alright and had no risk of falling and hurting themselves. Once they were down, he reached up to help Faye out of the tree as well.

Ace nodded, running a hand through her hair. “How would I even start? I don’t have a clue what to do..” he said quietly. He leaned into her touch for a moment before sitting back.

Faye thanked him and got down. She ran a hand through her hair. “Alright. Let’s go?” She commented softly, seeing that they all looked decently presentable and they wouldn’t stick out that much.

"I....don't know for sure Ace, I imagine it's different for everyone. It took Nick almost dying for us to admit to one another that he liked each other so," Hailey replied, shrugging a little bit,"Get him alone and just talk to him I guess."

"Faye, there isn't anyone here right now, it's chill," Hunt said with a smile, of course he knew that didn't mean people wouldn't come while they were checking it out. But he just really wanted to kids to get a good look at it, since they both seemed to excited.

Ace nodded slightly. “Alright.” He Agreed, trusting her advice and hoping it didn’t take that much for him and Hunt to figure it out. He thanked her faintly.

Faye rolled her eyes. “I know. But it’s still better to be cautious.” She told him quietly. She walked with them out onto the nearby road that led straight down to the water, keeping an eye out around them.

"You'll be fine, I promise," Hailey replied, motioning with her head to the direction the others went,"Now go and have fun with them before I kick you outta this tree."

Hunt shrugged at her words and went around the lake, checking it out.

"I wonder who did all of this," Vince said as he went closer to the water, looking at it.

Ace pouted. “But this is my tree..” he said, staying close to the trunk. “Don’t you think you should be with the others?” He commented back, thinking that would be smarter than him going.

She went with them, exploring around but keeping an eye on them and around them. “The lake seems natural. Families around here Probably added the slides and such to make it like a water park.” Faye theorized.

"They have Faye with them and I don't wanna leave you alone here. Besides, you can have the chance to talk to Hunt if you can snatch him," Hailey replied to him.

"Yeah, it's super cool," Vince replied, moving along the edge of the lake and looking at everything,"The bridge over there is cool."

Ace shrugged. “I’m not gonna be able to pull him away. That’s not a good idea. It can wait till we’ve got a plan figured out today.” He said softly. He didn’t mind being left alone. He could handle himself pretty easily.

Faye smiled and nodded, continuing to follow their lead. “Maybe we can bring the others here later. It looks like there might be some campgrounds or something..” she commented softly.

Hailey listened and sighed softly, not going anywhere though. She wasn't gonna leave him here alone, she was fine being left alone, but did not want the Flock members to be alone.
"I wonder when Nick and Zar will get back," she questioned, mostly to herself as she folded her wings back in and sat a little more comfortable on the branch.

"I think I saw some of those, like, outdoor grill things a little further up," Hunt called over to her from where he was, checking out the bridge, but not going on it. Wasn't sure if he 100% trusted that.

Ace shrugged. “Who knows. I imagine they’re probably just gonna stake out the house until whoever is there leaves..” he answered, looking around.

“Alright.” Faye nodded. “we’ll explore around a bit more and then maybe head back to the others.” She told Hunt. She let the younger two explore, looking around to see what else she could notice.

It as nearly dark outside by the time Zar came back to the tree with Nick. Hailey looked up when she saw them coming closer and just felt this huge relief come off of her body. They were okay....She was getting worried.

Hunt was laying on the tree, as per usual using someone as a pillow, this time the victim happened to be Hailey. He also looked up when they came close.
"About damn time you guys," he said.

Nick flew back a bit behind Zar, letting her lead the way since he hadn’t known quite where they’d gone. He came down and perched in a branch near them all, keeping his wings open and stretched out. “Aww. You missed us.” He rolled his eyes at Hunt.

Faye looked up when she heard them get close. She was perched on her own branch but immediately shifted over to give Zar room to land and join her. “So what’s the plan then?” She asked, glancing to nick.

Zar went right away to the branch Faye was on, landing next to her. Being with Nick for most of the day really took it out on her so she immediately snuggled into Faye, wrapping her arm around her.

"Oh what, you don't feel the same way? You didn't miss us?" Hunt asked, pointing to Hailey,"Did you only miss her.?

"Shut up you primadonna," Hailey said, swatting away Hunt's hand as he chuckled,"What Faye said, what's up? What's the plan?"

Faye slipped an arm around her and held her close. “Hey. Everything okay?” She asked her gently though she seemed fine.

Nick rolled his eyes. “It’s not like I went on vacation. I just watched those people and the house for a bit.” He told Hunt before glancing to Hailey. “Well. The house is out. They’re still there.” He informed them. “So I guess we’re gonna be moving on now..”

"I'm okay. Just....not use to not being with you for that long," Zar replied, sighing softly as she felt her body start to relax more and more as the time went on.

"Damn, thats a bummer," Hailey said, biting her lip and looking down at Hunt who was still using her as a pillow,"You said there were campsite looking places near that lake you guys found earlier yeah?"

"Yup. We could go there for the night," Hunt said, looking up at her and Nick.

Faye nodded. “You seem to have done alright though.” She commented softly, a bit proud that Zar had lasted a few hours with just nick.

Ace rolled his eyes and threw a twig at Hunt. “Hush.”

Nick sighed and nodded. “Yeah. We’ll find somewhere else though.” He assured before hearing the mention of the campsite. “It’s getting late. I think that campsite will

Faye held her close to her and nodded. “Alright. Once we get settled there we can just snuggle.” She promised.

Ace got up and stretched before grabbing his bag.

Nick nodded. “Okay. You guys lead the way.” He told them, getting back up. He glanced around them and waited patiently, thinking he knew where they might go but he wasn’t all that sure.

Hailey and Hunt also got up and gathered their things, Hunt going first since, well, he was the one who found it all in the first place. And soon they were all taking off towards the campsites.

Faye got up once Zar did and did the same. She got her own stuff before helping the younger two get theirs. She glanced to them and made sure they were all ready, planning on letting hunt lead the way since he’d found the place initially.

Ace got his stuff and one of the bags of food, letting nick take the other two when he offered.

Nick waited on all of them, looking at Hailey and wondering if he’d missed anything. He doubted it but still wanted to talk to her.

It didn't take long for Hunt to lead them to where the campsites were, dropping down at one that was a little bit more in the woods so they would have more cover.
"Not too bad huh?" he said with a shrug.

"It's an open area with a grill and some benches. So yeah, slightly better than sleeping in the middle of no where," Hailey replied with a chuckle.

"That is where you're wrong!" Hunt said, pointing a little ways away from where they were,"They have a bathroom here. And by the looks of if maybe like a small shower in there too."

Hailey looked over and nodded.
"Okay okay, much better than sleeping in the middle of nowhere," she said with a laugh and set down all the stuff she had been carrying.

Faye landed nearby and looked around, seeing all that Hunt was talking about. It wasn’t as good as having a roof over their head but it certainly was better than some places they’d had to say. She smiled faintly and nodded. “this’ll work for a few nights at least.” She Agreed.

Nick set down the food stuff and looked around. There were plenty of trees around to protect them a bit and also keep watch from. He also noticed a nearby fire pit. He wordlessly wandered closer to the trees, finding some wood so they could start a fire.

Hailey started unpacking the blankets and stuff they had when she noticed Nick walking a little bit off from them. Putting a pause on that, she followed him over.
"Whatcha doing?" she asked, not having noticed the fire pit yet.

"I knew this spot would be a good one," Hunt said with a smile, getting out the blankets that he had on him as well, which was his and Aces. He went over to him and handed them off before moving back over to the space he had landed at to set himself up there.

Zar helped the kids while Faye got their stuff ready.

Nick glanced at her. “There’s a fire pit.. we’re gonna need some light soon so might as well handle that first..” he told her with a shrug, gathering up a bit of wood. He turned me waved his hand over to where it was, figuring that she just must’ve not seen it.


Ace nodded. “Yeah. Good job.” He Agreed with a slight smile. He set up his stuff near Hunt’s like normal.

Faye quietly got hers and Zar’s spot set up, fixing their blankets like normal while Zar helped the kids with theirs.

Hailey looked at it when Nick pointed it out and nodded, having missed that completely.
"Okay, well if you need help just holler. I'm gonna unpack yours and mine stuff," shes said, moving back over to their backpacks. Now she didn't put it right next to one another, cause you know, weirdness, but close enough you know?

Hunt looked at him and offered a small smile, putting his blanket out and the makeshift pillow that was just another blanket. Kicking off his shoes and socks, he sat down and sighed softly.
"Laying in a tree, not good idea," he complained.

"That's what you get for using me as a pillow," Hailey replied, also taking off her shoes and going down to just her tank top and pants, letting down her hair for a little bit. It was a super nice night out and they had a bit of the sunlight left still so they weren't totally in darkness.

Nick nodded. “You can wait on mine. I’ll probably stay up to keep watch.” He told her softly. He gathered some more wood and brought it to the fire pit, quietly setting it up before coming and grabbing some matches from his backpack. He was distracted for a moment by Hailey, silently glancing her over, surprised that her hair was down. He shook his head and looked away, hoping he didn’t get caught.

“Well. You’re a weirdo who figured that it would be comfy too..” ace teased. He set up his stuff and sat down on his blankets, looking at the others.

Despite when Nick said, Hailey still set up his stuff. Cause even if he didn't use it, she could as extra cushioning. She didn't notice that Nick was looking at her, just got out some food to asses what they had while Nick worked on the fire.

"Good point," Hunt replied with a small chuckle, biting his lower lip though. When he saw Nick messing around with the fire pit he got up though and went over."Want me to go look for some bigger logs before we loose the light? I can carry more than you." He teased him lightly with a small smirk.

Faye noticed nick and covered her mouth to stifle a laugh. Nick was in her peripheral vision as he was checking her out and Hailey was oblivious to it.

Nick rolled his eyes. “I can handle it. But sure. You can help. But I can so carry more than you.” He taunted. He didn’t want to compete to find out though.

Zar had noticed it as well, these two were just always looking at everyone at the best moment. She smiled a little bit, thinking it was cute though as she finished helping out the kids so she could go back over to Faye.

"Nope it's me! I'm the strongest!" Hunt declared as he walked into the woods to find some good firewood for them to use. And that would keep them stocked up for the rest of the night.

"He's such a goof," Hailey said with a roll of her eyes, reaching into her bag and grabbing her brush. It had been a rough day for her hair, she didn't brush it this morning and then took a bunch of window to it. So it was gonna need some time to get the tangles out.

Fate glanced to Zar and smiled. “They’re dorks.” She commented faintly to her, shifting to lean back so Zar could snuggle close.

Nick rolled his eyes. “Fine. Whatever. Go get wood then.” He Agreed, waving him off. He went and gathered a bit more wood as well before starting to set up the fire pit so they could light it. He looked around them

Zar went back to to Faye when she was finished with the kids and nodded in agreement.
"They are," she replied, right away snuggling close into Faye.

"You're not gonna win that battle with him Nick. He is the strongest, according to him anyways," Hailey chimed in from her spot, working on getting the tangles out of her hair and brushing them out.

Faye slipped an arm around her. “Do you think they realize that they keep checking each other out?” She wondered, thinking probably not.

Nick rolled his eyes. “Eh. He can be the strongest. I’m still cooler.” He shrugged, getting a fire started. He built it up a bit before getting up to come near Hailey. “I’m so glad I don’t have long hair.” He commented, watching her try to untangle it.

"Nah probably not at all," Zar replied with a shake of her head as she snuggled with her.

Hailey looked at him when he came closer to her, her face scrunched up a bit cause the tangle hurt.
"I think you'd look nice with long hair," she said, wincing when she pulled too hard,"If you wanna be super cool, help me on the other side. Gently." Her hair was the only girly thing that Hailey cared about, she really honestly liked her hair.

“Hmm. True. It’d be interesting to see if they did though..” she commented, looking around.

Nick shrugged. “Well. I’m not gonna grow it out... but here.” He reached and gently took the brush from her hand. He took his time and brushed out her hair, starting at the bottom and just brushing out the tangles on the end before brushing out more and more of it, keeping quiet as he did so. “Flying apparently makes it a mess..”

"Yeah," Zar replied, sniffling a yawn," It might just make them all the more embarrassed though, especially Hailey."

Hailey let him take the brush from her and just worked on getting the tangles out with her fingers on the side she was working on.
"Yeah it does, it being in a ponytail helped but still," she replied.

“True.” Faye nodded. She smiled a bit and looked around.

Nick nodded. “Let me try something..” he mumbled, getting all the tangles out. He had seen Faye braid her own hair and figured it wasn’t that hard to do on Hailey’s hair. “I might just end up retangling it. I dunno.” He mumbled, splitting her hair into three pieces and attempting to braid it.
