Hunt got up right after Ace did and moved into the kitchen to give him a hand, a slightly annoyed look on his face. They were just starting to get comfortable here...it sucked that they needed to leave.

"Okay," Zar replied and quickly stood up after her shoes were on. She put any clothes that weren't already in her bag into her backpack and then made up the bed while Faye worked on her's.

Hailey helped Cass once she was finished cleaning the kitchen, grabbing her and Nick's bags once Vince came back with them.
"Okay you two out the back door, go into the woods and up in the trees. We'll be right out," she told them, opening up the door for them.

Ace glanced at him and nodded at the look. “Agreed. I don’t wanna either.” He Mumbled quietly. He moved and quickly helped pack up the food, closing up the bags.

Faye quickly packed up her stuff and then helped tidy up the room a bit. She then slipped out to Nick and Hailey’s room, quickly cleaning it up though it was probably the least messy of them all since nick and Hailey were barely in there.

Cass nodded, looking a bit afraid but she went with Vince outside and got a running start to take off and fly into the forest a bit.

Nick came back to Hailey, taking his bag. “You stick with the flock. I’m gonna go and watch that car and stuff.” He told her. He leaned close and kissed her cheek before slipping outside and taking off. He flew up high to look for the car.

"Yeah, just sucks," Hunt replied with a heavy sigh, getting the last of the food away and putting away anything else they had taken out. Grabbing his backpack, one of the food bags and a bag that had any bedding they had, he headed out the door after the kids.

Victor did as Cass did, headed out the backdoor with what he could carry and took off they were in there a bit. After a decent distance he pointed to a large tree.
"Let's go up there, wait for Hailey and the others," he said and went that way, landing on one of the branches.

Once their room was all fine, Zar just headed out the window of the room, knowing that Faye was just cleaning up Nick and Hailey's. She flew up high enough that she managed to see the car and bit her lip, seeing Hunt and Ace go out the back door and she followed.

"Okay be careful," Hailey replied, feeling her cheeks heat up a little with the kiss but she stayed focused. Getting everything else she needed, she glanced into all the rooms to make sure everyone was out and noticed Faye in the room her and Nick shared."Is Zar out?"

Ace nodded. He grabbed his stuff and the other bags of food before following after him. He headed outside and took off, seeing the little kids up ahead so he flew after them. He didn’t want them left alone since they would be the easiest to take or get hurt.

Cass nodded and followed him closely, landing beside him on a different branch.

Faye came back to hers and zar’s room and tugged on her shoes. “Yeah. She just slipped out the window. Let’s go?” She asked, making sure Hailey was ready. She saw the slight blush but didn’t question it.

Nick stayed up high but watched the car closely as they neared the house. He made sure all the rest of the flock got out.

Hunt followed close behind him, seeing Zar come up a moment later behind. He landed on the same branch at Ace did, though he did glance at Zar to make sure she was okay.

Zar was good, her feet had been doing really good and were pretty much fine now. She just stood and watched, waiting to see Faye coming.

"Yeah c'mon," Hailey replied, heading back to the kitchen where the backdoor was. She waited for Faye to head out before she did, shutting and making sure the door was locked behind them.

Ace landed easily and looked around. He waited for them quietly, glancing everyone over to make sure they were all okay. He shifted how he held the bags.

Faye quickly followed her outside and took off. She flew with Hailey to join the others, wondering where nick was. She doubted he’d taken the lead. She didn’t question it though, just flying with her and spotting the others.

Hailey also wondered where Nick was but she just trusted that he was okay. Over worrying wasn't gonna do anything so if he didn't make it to them soon, then she would go look. But right now, she needed to focus on the others. She spotted them and started over there, landing on the same branch as the boys.
"Everyone okay?" she asked.

Hunt nodded at her as did Victor, who was sticking close to Cass on their branch.

Nick perched in a tree close to the house, trying to focus on not being seen and hoping his abilities worked. He kept watch over the house, seeing the car pull up and watching/listening to try and see how many there were and if they really caught on or not.

Ace nodded. "Yeah." He agreed quietly, figuring Nick wouldn't join them till later.

Faye nodded as well, having landed beside Zar and sticking close to her. The flock pretty much had an established buddy system and it worked out pretty well cause each pair just took care of each other.

Zar waited for Faye to get to her, going right over to her and wrapping her arm around her arm, leaning on her shoulder.

"Nick coming?" Hunt asked Hailey, wondering where he was.

"He might be scoping out the house. I'll give him a little bit and if he doesn't let us know he's okay I'll go look for him," Hailey replied to him, patting his shoulder.

Faye gently slipped an arm around her and held her close, leaning her head on hers. She was a bit stressed about them having to leave again but didn't voice it. Instead she asked, "So once Nick shows up, what's our plan then?"

Ace listened to them but didn't comment. Nick may have been good at providing ideas but he didn't seem to be the best leader to him. He was always off doing little side tasks rather than sticking with the flock and figuring stuff out there.

"I'm....not sure," Hailey replied honestly, biting her lip,"If they don't stay too long then we can probably go back. But if it looks like they're gonna stick around or come back soon then we'll have to move on."

"As much as I liked staying there, moving on might be the best idea," Hunt replied, also sticking close to Ace, though not nearly as close as Faye and Zar were,"You and Nick are all healed up, we're well rested and clean. We can go move on somewhere else."

"But why move on if we don't need to?" Zar questioned, looking at him and shrugging her shoulders. She liked the sense of security staying somewhere gave her, not a fan of moving place to place.

Ace listened to them and shrugged. Both sides had a point. "We'll have to see what info Nick comes back with but staying for a bit longer if we can might be our best bet. Then we can try and maybe find where to go next and create more of a concrete plan of survival and actually living." He said softly. "If one or a couple of us could get even some sort of temporary job, that would get us money so we wouldn't have to steal and could maybe actually live like normal people."

Faye stuck close to Zar, already on her side because she knew Zar would do better if they stayed in one place. Plus, it was good for all of them to have some feeling of being home again.

Hailey listened to him and nodded. She hated the idea of one of them getting a job but that was because she didn't trust people, she didn't trust anyone except her Flock. They could be found out if they were in public too long. But in the end it wasn't up to her, it was up to Nick.
"Lets hang out here and wait for Nick," she said, setting the bags she had carried down on the branch and taking a seat.

Hunt nodded and also sat down with a heavy sigh, sniffling and rubbing his nose.

Ace shrugged slightly at her, guessing they didn't like the idea but it wasn't entirely her choice at least. He sat with Hunt and looked around. "Is he just gonna stake out the house or is he gonna come back in a few?" He asked Hailey, figuring she would know of all people.

"Knowing Nick he's gonna stake it out, thinking he's all powerful and sneaky with that new trick of his," Hailey replied with a slightly chuckle, knowing of course that it was a very, very useful skill. She just didn't like him being in danger.

"I still wanna know when we're all gonna get ours. You know, a new skill," Hunt said, looking at everyone and then back at Hailey,"I mean, Nick's really good at his and you're making progress with yours? I think?"

"Sorta," Hailey grumbled, which was her way of saying she wasn't, but she didn't wanna talk about it.

Ace rolled his eyes. "Figures. He's a bit cocky with it though. You know, thinks he's all that now that he can just hide in plain sight." He commented before shrugging at Hunt. "think about it though, they're the oldest. So we'll probably get ours once we grow up a bit more. At least hopefully. That'd be unfair if we didn't." He said lightly with a smile.

Faye watched and listened to them, smiling a bit at Ace's easy banter.

"Well we're not that far behind them," Hunt replied with a small pout. He just didn't like being left out of stuff.

"I got 2, almost 3 years on you Hunt, Nick even more than that. Give it a little," Hailey replied, smiling at both his and Ace's words as well. She knew that he just wanted to be like them so he could fell a little more like an equal.

Ace rolled his eyes. "That's cause you two are old." He teased Hailey lightly with a smile. He knew she'd realize he meant nothing by it. He understood where Hunt was coming from though, it was kinda unfair that they had these cool and useful abilities while they were stuck without them for the time being. And they also had no clue what they would be when they finally did show up.

Hailey frowned and reached over, giving him a small smack on the shoulder, grinning at him though. She didn't fell at all an equal to Nick despite having her powers. She sucked at them after all, couldn't really do much anyways considering, well, she already knew how to fly. Sure she could levitate other stuff too, but what good would that do if it took her forever to do it?

Ace laughed a bit. "What? You are. You might even have grey hair already." He taunted under his breath, figuring she wouldn't hear so he might get away with it. He grinned over at her before glancing to the girls and then Hunt. "What sort of powers would you all want?" He asked them curiously.

Faye simply shrugged. "Something that would be useful.. Like not just with fighting or with stealth, but something that would be helpful in day to day stuff too."

"I heard that ya brat," Hailey replied, not doing anything though. She just looked off in the direction of the house and thought about Nick. She hoped that he was still doing alright...

Zar nodded at Fayes explanation, wanting something similar to that as well. Something she could use all the time.

"Anything that makes me stronger, I'm game," Hunt replied with a grin.

Ace smiled a bit. He nodded t what Faye and Zar wanted before looking at Hunt. “You don’t need to be stronger.” He told him, poking his bicep. “That could be hazardous..”

Faye nodded and stayed close to Zar. She doubted they’d get their powers soon so there wasn’t much point in theorizing about it when they wouldn’t find out for a while.

Nick stayed where he was, keeping watch over the house and the two guys that had gone inside. He wanted to get closer but didn’t trust his abilities and didn’t want to risk it that much. After all, the flock needed him.

"I mean, I guess since I'm already so strong," Hunt said with a grin, flexing his arms a little bit,"But I mean like, be able to toss a bus 100 feet kinda strong."

"Yeah, we certainly don't need that," Hailey replied with a chuckle and shake of her head. Having Hunt brag even more about his strength wasn't something she wanted to hear everyday.

Ace shrugged. “Fair point. But if you could throw a bus 100 feet, how far do you think you could throw an eraser? Cause that would be helpful. Toss them far away and then run or something.” He commented, thinking aloud.

Faye shrugged. “Do you think it’s something they like genetically coded into us or is it something sorta special that just randomly mutated?” She asked Hailey softly.

"Super far, like, to the next state kinda far if I wanted too. That would be cool," Hunt replied with a grin.

Hailey let the two of them talk their boy stuff and turned her attention to Faye and Zar.
"I'm thinking mutated, the School probably didn't plan for us to have these abilities. After all, they're willing to kill some of us so they must not think we're all that important," she replied.

Ace laughed a bit at him. “that would be fun.” He Agreed. “And also slightly terrifying. Imagine them landing in a city,” He commented with a smile.

Faye looked over at Hailey and nodded. “True. This just seems like a really weird mutation. Cause like you can levitate stuff and nick can just disappear. It’s random seeming..” she commented.

"Yeah it's not something we expected, that's for sure. But who really knows what kinda stuff they were mixing together in that lab," Hailey replied with a shrug of her shoulders and ran her fingers through her ponytail,"I wouldn't be surprised at all if you guys also got something though."

“Genetic soup.” Faye commented with a shrug. “I guess we’ll see someday. I doubt we’ll get them soon. It’d be odd for us to get them now since we’re still a decent bit younger than you two.” She glanced around.

"Maybe, but all of us are from the same time, like we all had this done to us within the course of 7 months. So even though our ages are different, they mutated us at the same time," Hailey replied to her,"So maybe you all will get some soon too."

Faye shrugged. “Fair point.” She Agreed. “We’ll just have to wait and see. And hopefully hunt won’t try to lift absolutely everything in the mean time.” She commented. She looked around. “Should one of us go back for nick? It’s been a while...”

"He'd better not," Hailey replied with a look over at Hunt, thinking about possibly going to get Nick,"I suppose it has been a little while huh? That might be a good idea."

"I'll go get him," Zar randomly piped up, standing up from her spot. Zar rarely wanted anything to do with Nick and it wasn't because she didn't like him. It was just the fact that he was a guy and the only guy she really trusted in the Flock was Ace. But she was actually offering to go see if he was alright.

Ace rolled his eyes. “Too late now. You guys already put the idea in his head.” He commented softly. He smiled a bit at them.

Faye let go of Zar and glanced up at her when she offered to get nick. That was certainly unexpected. She stuck close to the girls. She certainly didn’t offer to go check on one of them. “Alright. Are you sure?” She asked gently, making sure.

"What he said," Hunt replied after taking a drink of water,"You guys put this on yourself."

"Yeah I'm sure. I'll be quick," Zar replied with a nod. Deciding to leave her backpack since, well, wasn't like she needed anything in there, she opened back up her wings. Taking off from the branch, she headed back towards the house, keeping low enough that people that decided to look up wouldn't see her, but also not low enough that she was hitting the trees.

Hailey watched as Zar went off to get Nick, wondering why. Maybe though it was cause she wanted her to stay here, you know, a more leader type person with the pack in case something went south.

Ace nodded. “Just no throwing me. Got it?”

Faye nodded slightly. “Alright. Be careful.” She cautioned softly, glancing to Hailey once Zar took off. “That seem weird to you?” She asked her faintly.

The people hadn’t left the house quite yet but they had gone in and out a couple times, bringing a few things out. So nick stayed as well, perched in a tree close to the clearing of the house. He was hidden enough by the branches that he didn’t stay invisible, the shadows providing enough cover. He wanted them to just leave so they could maybe go back though he had no clue what the plan was. He’d half to talk to Hailey about it.

Hailey looked at Faye when she asked that and nodded her head.
"Yeah, but she must have a reason for doing it. Maybe she's trying to....open up more?" she suggested as a possibility.

Zar got back close to the house and looked around for Nick. She was decently good at sensing where other people were, especially members of the Flock so it wasn't very hard to find where Nick was. Flying down, she landed on a branch that was close to him.
"The others are getting worried about you," she said to him.

“Hmm. Maybe. We’ll see.” Ace shrugged at him and smiled a bit.

Faye nodded. “Maybe. That’d be good. And well, if she can open up to nick then I think the rest of us would be easy..” she commented quietly.

Nick heard her as she got close so he just glanced over when she landed.
“They’ll be gone soon. They’ve been packing up some stuff. Seems like maybe they just came here to get some things and then are gonna leave again..” he answered faintly, not addressing the flock being worried.

Hunt sucked in a breath and nodded, looking off afterwards. Since the two of them had kissed that one day, nothing had really happened. Did he still like Ace? Of course. Did he think Ace liked him? He....didn't think so. So he was trying to work on that rejection, still being a little flirt with him, but also trying to tone it down.

"Yeah probably, Nick is the one she was always so nervous of. I never understood why though," Hailey replied, only being able to guess that it was because he was the oldest and, for a while, the most masculine. Well, until Hunt grew up more.

Zar nodded at his words and looked at the house, crouching down a little bit. She wasn't gonna head back to the others without him so she might as well also see what was going on.

Ace still had no clue what to do about hunt. Did he like him? Yes. Did he have any sort of clue on what to about those feelings? No. He didn’t know how to act or what Hunt really wanted so even trying something seemed like a bad idea because what if it wasn’t what Hunt wanted? He watched him for a moment before glancing away.

“He’s also the scariest of the group. You probably don’t notice cause he’s soft around you even more but he’s intimidating to the rest of the world..” Faye commented. She shrugged slightly.

Nick shifted slightly and glanced her over for a moment, just checking on her. “Whyd they send you to check on me?” He asked quietly before looking back to the house. The people hadn’t come out in a bit which was starting to concern him.

Hunt looked down at the ground for a moment before he spotted something and he smiled, standing up and easily jumping over to the branch the kids were sharing.
"Cass, Vince, look down there," he said to them and pointed. Down below them there was a little family of skunks, looking like they were playing around a little bit or cleaning one another.

Vince looked when he pointed and saw them right away, smiling.

"I suppose that makes sense," Hailey agreed with her cause it was true. Aside from the kids, he was the most soft and nice around her, maybe even more so then he was to the kids.

"They didn't," Zar replied, not explaining more as she kept her eyes on the house.

Cass glanced down and tensed up slightly. Despite having wings and being able to fly, She wasn’t the biggest fan of heights when she wasn’t in the air. She saw the skunks and smiled faintly. “That little one with the squiggly stripe is cute..” she pointed one out.

Ace glanced down at them and watched them curiously.

“In the real world, he’d be like a good guard. All scary and intimidating..” she commented. “But instead you just get the teddy bear side.”

Nick raised an eyebrow, “Okay. Why’d you choose to come then?” He asked curiously, wanting to get closer to the house. He stood and glanced at the nearby branches.

"Yeah they are pretty cute when you get to look at them from far away," Hunt agreed, looking over at them and scrunching up his nose,"Not when you're close to them though."

"Cause they'll spray ya," Vince replied, scrunching his nose up like Hunt did and looking back down at the skunks, watching them do what they do.

Hailey laughed softly at her comparison, nodding her head a bit and glancing down at the skunks Hunt was showing the kids.
"I guess I did huh?" she said.

"Wanted to make sure you were okay. Hailey needs to be back there with them in case something happens," Zar replied simply.

Ace rolled his eyes. “There is such a thing as pet skunks. They just get rid of their sprayer or something so they won’t be able to and then they apparently make good pets.” He commented, recalling seeing that somewhere randomly.

Faye nodded. “Yep. Pretty much.” She Agreed.

Nick nodded. “Well. Thank you for coming to check on me.” He told her softly before moving easily to a different closer branch. “Keep watch for me for a minute so I can get closer?” He asked her.

Hunt looked at Ace when he chimed in and nodded a bit.
"Well yeah, but I doubt that those are these skunks," he replied, looking back down at the family of them.

"It would be cool to have a pet skunk though," Vince replied, looking over at Hailey.

Hailey caught the look and she glared the him.
"Don't even think about it Vince," she said. The last thing they needed was a pet, since they could barely take care of themselves sometimes.

Zar nodded at his order and stayed where she was so he could look closer.

Cass pouted. “Oh come on, itd be cute..” she commented. She understood why they couldn’t though she still thought it would be nice.

Faye rolled her eyes at them and looked around quietly. She wasn’t sure if Zar was planning on coming back or staying with nick so she didn’t worry about her.

Nick set his bag on a branch before almost silently hopping down to the ground and landing. He closed his wings and tried to focus on disappearing.

"It would be very cute Cass, you're right. But not at all practical," Hailey replied to the young girl. Even if they were to find a permanent home again, well, the cost of a pet skunk would be way more then they could ever handle.

Hunt looked at Ace for a moment before back down at the skunks. Thinking of something real quick, he took his backpack off and set it down.
"I'll be right back," he said and jumped out of the tree before anyone could say anything, going off into the woods.

"Oh....kay," Hailey said, looking down to where he had gone and sighed before muttering to herself,"Boys, always want to go off on their own somewhere. Because they think they're so great and they can handle anything cause they're so manly, look at them. And then a bear comes out of nowhere and then oh shit, what do we do now?"

"Hailey you're talking to yourself again," Vince informed her, glancing up quickly from the skunks.

Zar watched Nick as he did this, figuring what he was gonna do. If Hailey was here, she would put a stop to this right away. But her? She wasn't Hailey so she let Nick do as he pleased.

“I know. I know. We move too much to have a pet. Plus, I doubt they’d like flying. A bird would be easier to care for.” She commented with a shrug.

Ace glanced over at Hunt. “Uhh. Okay. Have fun.” He muttered. He watched him go, debating following.

Faye rolled her eyes. “That’s when they call for us to solve the issues. They run off, get into trouble, then we come to the rescue.” She commented.

Nick easily disappeared before creeping close to the house, barely making a sound. He just wanted to peek in and see what they were up to. He could hear their voices from one of the open windows so he moved close to listen.

"Yep, that's exactly how it is. Run and get Hailey or Faye cause you done fucked up," Hailey grumbled, clearing her throat and shaking her head. She's lived with boys her entire life and she still wasn't quite use to their need for adventure. Specially Hunt cause that boy used every opportunity he could to run off somewhere. And then Nick, well, he was just a lone freaking wolf and liked to do stuff on his own.

"Wonder what he's doin," Victor asked, mostly to himself. He trusted Hunt to be okay though so he didn't worry.

Faye chuckled a bit. “Yeah. But that’s okay. They’re bound to be good for something to make up for it. Look at ace for example, he’s funny. And he doesn’t run off nearly as much as Hunt and Nick do. Though nick doesn’t count as running off; it’s more just not following the others..” she reminded Hailey.

“Probably gonna try and catch something he shouldn’t.” ace commented, hoping it wouldn’t be a skunk if he was correct.

Nick listened for a few and glanced inside before coming back to the trees and reappearing. He glanced up at Zar before flying up to perch near her.

"Yeah that is true." Hailey replied, looking over at Ace. She wondered how thinks were going with him and Hunt, must be a little iffy if he didn't go down with him. It was sad cause she thought the two of them would get somewhere. But really, well, they weren't.

Zar stayed where they was while Nick was closer to the house, looking at him when he came back up.
"Anything interesting?" she questioned.

Ace noticed her looking at him and tilted his head. “What’s up?” He asked curiously. He knew things would go a ton better with Hunt if one of them would just make a move but ace didn’t really want to be the one to act first.

Nick shrugged. “They’re hunters apparently. This is like their base camp. They use the house as storage for a lot of the year. That’s why there was all the meat and stuff.” He explained. “It looks like they might be heading out again.”
