Faye went and told the others that dinner was ready. She glanced at nick and Hailey and asked if they wanted to all sit at the table or if they could just eat wherever. She didn’t expect nick to answer, him slumped down in the chair with his eyes closed.

Like Nick, Hailey didn't answer either since she was still sleeping by Nick's feet.The others were awake though and Hunt looked over at the mention of food.
"I'm content with eating in here. the 5th Harry Potter movie just started," he said, extending his arms and motioning with his hands that he wanted a bowl.
"Can't you even get up for it?" Zar asked teasingly.
"Nuh uh!" Hunt replied cutely with a small pout on his face.
Faye rolled her eyes at them. “I’m here it is then..” she agreed. She smiled at Hunt’s pout, shaking her head at him before heading back into the kitchen. She grabbed two of the bowls and brought them to Vic and Cass. She glanced to Zar. “Should we wake Nick and Hailey or no?” She asked softly, personally leaning towards no. They both finally seemed at ease for the moment and she didn’t want to disturb that.

"Nah let them sleep. The food will still be here when they wake up," Zar said, also grabbing two bowls and handing one to Hunt and one to Ace."Yeeees," Hunt said as he was handed his food, more happy now and he sat criss cross on the couch and began eating.
"Thank you," Victor said to Faye when she brought him a bowl, setting it down next to him to wait for it to cool off a little bit.
Faye nodded slightly. “You’re welcome Vic.” She said softly, smiling gently st him. She glanced at them before heading back to the kitchen and grabbing herself and Zar a bowl. She came back and offered Zar’s bowl to her before sitting on the floor. Ace thanked Zar quietly, taking the bowl and shifting so he wasn’t slumped down and half laying on the couch. He started eating quietly, glancing at the tv.

Zar was gonna go back and get hers, but when she noticed Faye carrying a second bowl she didn't. Just sat down on the floor cause she knew that's where Faye would go and accepted the bowl when it was offered to her."Thank you," she said, waiting for her to lay down before she got close to her.
Faye smiled and nodded. She sat down and got settled, leaving plenty of room for Zar to sit by her since she knew she’d want to be close. She started eating a bit, staying near Zar. She occasionally glanced to the movie and to the others, absently checking on them all.

(( Yush!! ))It was nearly 2 hours later when Hailey finally started to stir, opening her eyes slowly. The room was pretty much dark now with just the kitchen light left on and Zar messing around in there. Yawning, she stretched her arms up and scratching the back of her head.
"Where's everyone else?" she asked mid yawn to the other girl.
Zar straightened when she heard Hailey awaken, looking over at her.
"Asleep, or in their room. I was gonna stay up and take first watch," she replied.
Hailey slowly got to her feet, stretching her back a little bit since she had slept in quite the odd position.
"Nah let me do it. I'm the one who slept for," she glanced at the clock,"Almost 3 hours. You get some sleep."
Nick had slept off and on for a while as the others ate and then got ready and headed off to bed. He had been up a bit ago and offered to take Faye’s spot for keeping watch so she could rest, Zar wanting to stay up for a bit longer. And then he dozed right back off again into a light sleep for a bit. He felt Hailey move from where she was so close to him and heard them talking and it woke him up. Nick opened his eyes and yawned, glancing between them. He rubbed his face and tried to wake up as he listened to Zar and Hailey talk.
“She’s right. You need some rest too Zar. We can keep watch..” he assured softly, shifting and glancing over at her.

Hailey and Zar both looked over when they heard Nick's voice, Hailey looking back at Zar and smiled at her."Get some rest. You and Faye can take second watch if you want to," she replied.
"Alright. Thanks guys," she replied, motioning to the dishes she had just wrapped up for them,"There's food for you guys here if you want it." With that, she headed off to her and Fayes shared room.
"How long were you asleep for?" Hailey asked Nick once Zar was in her room, going into the kitchen and grabbing a water bottle, opening it and taking a large drink. She wasn't quite hungry yet.
Nick nodded. He thanked Zar softly when she mentioned the food, smiling a bit at her. He yawned again and got up, shifting most of his weight off his injured leg. It wasn’t too painful to stand on but it wasn’t exactly comfortable either. “Uhh. I dunno. I think I crashed a bit after you did. And then was up on and off for a while..” nick answered Hailey, stretching and watching her. “You were out still every time I woke up.” He added softly with a shrug. He followed her to the kitchen, leaning against the counter and pushing one of the bowls over to her. He wasn’t hungry yet either since he’d just woken up but he wanted to make sure that they both ate.

"Yeah I don't think I woke up at all. I was really tired," Hailey replied, taking another large drink of the water before capping it. She shook her head when the bowl was pushed at her."Not really hungry, I'll save it for later. Wanna head up to the roof?" It was probably as good a place as any to keep watch. Good survey around the house.
Nick nodded. “That’s good that you slept then.” He Agreed. He picked up his own bowl of food and grabbed a fork. He didn’t really care that it was cold. He just knew that he should probably eat soon as he was still healing up and everything. “Uhh. Sure.” Nick shrugged at her and moved to follow her outside. The house was quiet so he guessed that everyone was okay and probably sleeping by now.

"Well why won't you eat first? I'll just see you up there when you're done?" Hailey suggested. If he wanted to eat she wasn't gonna make him do it up on the roof, that would be a little weird when they had a perfectly good kitchen to do that in.
Nick shrugged slightly st her. “Yeah. I could. That’s probably smart...” he agreed. “I’ll see you outside in a few..” he nodded to her. He wasn’t thinking much about logic. He just wanted to be near her. Besides, he wasn’t all that hungry, but he wanted to eat a bit at least.

"Cool," Hailey replied and headed outside. It wasn't really chilly outside but it had dropped a few degrees since when they were flying here. It felt nice and she was just in a tank top. Opening her wings to get up to the roof, she thought against it and instead tried to use her new powers to get her up there. It wasn't quite as easy as she thought it would be. By the time Nick made it out to her she was still struggling, eyes shut tight and she was only, like, maybe a foot off the ground.
Nick stayed in the kitchen. He ate about half of his bowl of food before covering his bowl back up. He then went outside to join Hailey, raising an eyebrow at how she was just standing there with her eyes squeezed shut and floating barely off the ground. He kept quiet and waited, leaning back against the house and just watching her as she tried to use her powers to get up to the roof rather than the easy solution of using her wings

Hailey was doing her best, really just wanting to get a handle on these new powers of hers. It was getting a little tough though and finally she just let out a heavy breath she had accidentally been holding and dropped to the ground. Panting a little, she wiped her forehead and noticed Nick there."It's harder than I thought," she said with a soft sigh,
Nick nodded. “I see that. But it’s still new to you.” He commented softly. “Give it some more time and practice and you’ll get there.” He smiled a bit at her. He moved away from the house before opening his wings and easily flying up to the roof. “I still occasionally just disappear. without meaning to.” He told her. He still didn’t know how his ability worked or why or how to make it cooperate more or anything but he kept messing with it. Trying to see what he could get to happen.

Hailey let out another large breath and watched as Nick flew up to the roof with ease. And yes, she knew it would be so easy for her to do that too. However she really wanted to get this down, she was a very impatient person."Lemme try again," she said, trying to relax herself as she shut her eyes and concentrated on levitating herself again. She felt herself come off the ground a bit, but she just couldn't make herself go very high.
Nick nodded slightly to her. He sat down on the edge of the roof and looked down at her, watching as she tried to float herself up there. He waited patiently, not having any clue on how to help so he just sat and observed, biting his lip. (Hey. Sorry. I’ve got work for the next 5 ish hours so I’ll be sketchy for the rest of the night)

(( Noooo, you can't leave meeeeee ))Hailey knew she wasn't going up any higher and she took a chance to open her eyes, having them closed cause thought it would make her fall right away. Thankfully she didn't, but she also didn't think that it was going to help her case. Glancing up at Nick, she gave him teasing jealous look, opening her mouth to say something when she felt herself start to go higher.
"Whoa whoa whoa," she slightly squeaked as she went off balance a bit, this being much different then flying with her wings after all.
Nick smiled as he watched her. He rolled his eyes at the look on her face and smiled as she finally got higher. “Apparently, being annoyed with me makes your powers work better.” He teased her, smiling. He kept his wings open and stretched out behind him, dangling his feet off the edge of the roof. (I’m sorrryyyy. I didn’t want to even come here tonight but it’s bad to call out..)

"H-Hush up you," Hailey said to him as she tried to get her balance, biting her lip. She didn't know why it suddenly started working, but this had happened before too before they left the woods. As soon as Nick was around it worked more. Weird. Biting her lip, she just went with it and looked at him as she slowly levitate herself up. She was pretty much up when it decided to give out on her and she just caught the edge of the roof and pulled herself up."That's so much different from flying, wow."(( It's okaaaaay lol stupid work haha ))
Nick sat there quietly as she worked to pull herself up there. He smiled s bit. “Good job. You made it.” He complimented with a shrug. It wasn’t quite how she wanted to get there but she still made it. And that was what counted most.”

"Good enough I suppose," Hailey replied with a sigh, brushed his hands off and sitting down next to Nick. It was nice out tonight, it really was. She thought she might get a little chilly from being in just a tank top for a while, but she was still doing just fine.
Nick smiled softly at her. “How’s your shoulder doing?” He asked quietly, glancing her over. He stayed close to her. He was in a hoodie and jeans but still thought it was chilly. He curled his wings back around him and around Hailey too since she was right there.

Hailey looked behind her when she felt Nicks wings there, not cold though she curled up a bit into them anyways. They were just really soft and nice feeling."It's fine, doesn't really hurt anymore at all actually. When I was wrestling with the boys I didn't feel it too much," he replied with a nod, looking over at him.
Nick smiled softly and nodded. “That’s good. I’m glad it’s stopped hurting..” He Agreed faintly. He smiled faintly, looking her over before looking back out around them. He didn’t expect any sort of trouble but didn’t really let his guard down anyways.

"Yeah, how about your leg? It still bugging you?" Hailey questioned, thinking it probably would be. It was looking a lot better everyday since Brandie had helped them though so that was a plus for sure. And if he wasn't in a lot of pain, well, that was even better.
Nick shrugged. “A little bit Yeah. It’s not extremely painful though. Just pretty uncomfortable.” He explained softly. “But It doesn’t look infected and gross and I don’t feel sick. So I think we’re good.” He added, glancing over st her and smiling a bit.

Nick nodded, glancing at her before looking away again. “I know. I’m sorry..” he mumbled. In all honesty, nick really didn’t remember all that much about it. He remembered being sick and little bits and pieces but he’d slept through so much of it that there were lots of holes.

"Just...dont do it again," Hailey replied, seeming...really honestly afraid. He had been scared after all, she needed Nick. Scooting closer to him, she rested her head against his shoulder.
“I will try my best.” He reassured, frowning at how worried she sounded. When she moved closer, nick shifted and slipped his arm around her, holding her gently. They’d kinda established that they were gonna try and be a thing so he hoped she wouldn’t freak out or be upset by it; he just wanted her close.

Hailey didn't mind when he did that, she had been closer to him before. She did like him a lot, she really did. She did have a little blush on her cheeks then and she realized that they were actually totally alone.
Nick smiled and held her gently. He glanced her over, noticing the blush. “What’s up?” He asked faintly, not going to point it out immediately. He guessed it was because of him but was curious as to why. It wasn’t like he’d never held her before or anything.

"Mhhh? Nothing, I'm fine. I'm good," Hailey replied with a shake of her head, looking up at him slightly before she needed rolook back down. She was just a little nervous. After all they had almost kissed after all, it was a little...differdnt now.
Nick nodded. He watched her for a moment and smiled faintly. “What are you thinking about?” He asked her softly, shifting and leaning his head on her shoulder for a moment. He liked that they were alone since he could be pretty close to Hailey now without worrying about one of the others catching them.

Hailey didn't mind when he out his head on her shoulder, accepting it. She blushed a little deeper when asked what,she was thinking about, clearing her throat."Stuff," she replied simply, too embarrassed to give it away.
“Hmm..” nick shifted and watched her for a moment. He smirked a bit. “You’re thinking about me, aren’t ya?” He teased softly, smiling at her and watching to see if she blushed further. He stayed close to her, his wings loosely around them.

Yep, that totally got her. She blushed heavier at his teasing, her ears pretty much burning up too at this point."S-shut up," she grumbled, looking down and away from him. She didn't move away from him though, to comfy next to him to do that.
Nick pouted slightly. He shifted and smiled at her after a moment, pressing a light kiss to her cheek. “You never used to get this flustered around me..” he commented faintly.

Haileys eyes widened a little when her cheek was kissed. It wasn't like it was the first cheek kiss she had gotten from him before, he use to do it quite often when they were younger and she was upset. But now they were older and, well...them."I didn't know that you liked me back before," she replied to him, turning her head and facing him, not quite realizing just how close they were to one another before she had already done it
Nick stayed close to her. He shrugged slightly. “I’ve always liked you..” he told her. “I don’t know how you were oblivious to it for so long though.” He admitted softly. He stayed close to her, studying her face. He wanted to kiss her but wasn’t sure, wanting her to have a chance to make the first move if she wanted.

Hailey saw him scanning her face, probably deciding what he wanted to do. She was doing the same, sort of, but keeping her eyes mostly on him. She shrugged, not breaking his gaze though."I just thought....that..," she trailed off, suddenly not quite able to form a sentence. Swallowing thickly, she moved one hand up to his shoulder and moved forward, connecting their lips in a small, maybe somewhat hesitant and nervous, kiss.
Nick listened to her. “Thought you were imagining it or something?” He guessed faintly before she moved close. He relaxed and kissed her back gently, slipping an arm around her and holding her close. He gently pulled away after a moment, not wanting to push something too far and upset her.

Hailey didn't even reply to him, too busy with kissing him. It was great really, she liked Nick a lot. And it was her first kiss too, so there was that. When he moved back, obviously she let him, opening her eyes after a moment to look at him."I thought you thought of me as a sister," she whispered in response to what he said before, resting her head on his shoulder.
