Nick smiled softly at her. “Good..” He Agreed faintly. “Uhhh. I took them this morning. I’ll take them again in a little while..” he commented, thinking. He shifted and got up once she’d finished up, cleaning up their old bandages and tossing them in a small wastebin in the room.

Ace tilted his head. “Then maybe talk to someone about it?” He suggested. “It’ll work better than being all angry and taking it out on everyone else, especially me..” he bit his lip lightly and though for a moment. “What have you been thinking about so much that it’s been affecting you so much..”

Hailey nodded, watching as he threw everything away. Clearing her throat, she motioned to the doorway.
"Do you wanna stay in here and rest or go in the living room with the others? Sounds like someone got the t.v to work," she said, hearing some sort of cartoon playing from the other room.

Hunt knew that he had been in the wrong and he felt like crap for it. He just....he was trying to distance himself from Ace so that, maybe, the feelings would go away. But he always didn't wanna ruin their friendship in the process. Hearing his words, he swallowed thickly, a small blush on his cheeks.
"I....it's....it's complicated....It's...embarrassing to talk...about," he replied, looking at Ace. It looked like he wanted to tell him though, cause he did. But...he was scared.

“We should probably join the others,” he shrugged. “We can make sure everyone gets settled and cleaned up tonight and maybe actually cook something to eat?” Nick suggested, willing to do most of the work to make sure it actually happened. He ran a hand through his hair and headed to the door.
“If you want, you can rest a bit first though. You’ve done a lot the past few days,” nick offered, looking back to her. She had to be tired from handling everything the past few days.


Ace raised an eyebrow at how flustered Hunt got.
“Uh huh, okay,” He rolled his eyes and glanced away for a moment before looking back at him. “You know that whatever you say, it’ll stay between us? I won’t go running off to blab to nick or anyone.” He reassured, concerned and not knowing what else to do to help figure out what was up with him.

Hailey nodded at first, then shook her head at his suggestion.
"Nah I'm cool, nothing I'm not already use to," she replied, following him out the door. She was the leader for years after all and taking care of everyone, well, it's just second nature to her. Going into the living room, she noticed the girls on the couch watching Spongebob and she raised an eyebrow."Where's Hunt and Ace."

Zar, who had been the one to suggest they watch the cartoon, looked at Hailey when she came in.
"Outside," she replied simply, snuggling more into Faye.

Hunt bit his lip as he listened to his words, not knowing what to do. He didn't know if he should tell him or if he should just let it go. He felt he deserved an explanation....Some sort of explanation. Words were....just hard to get out. Biting his lip, he walked so he was closer to Ace and he put his hand gently on his arm, leaning forward and giving his cheek a small kiss before moving back.

Nick nodded. He knew that was true. His mind was just often focused on taking care of her as well, knowing how she cared for the rest of the group. He followed her back out into the living area and flopped down in a chair. “Good. Maybe they’re sorting out whatever is up with them.” He commented.

Faye smiled and snuggled close to her happily. She’d gotten the tv running and now was just sitting and watching it with Zar. Cass and Vic sitting on the other end of the couch.

Ace watched him curiously as he came closer. He blushed darkly at the kiss and tilted his head.
“Was that.. that was what you needed to tell me?” He stammered out, flustered.

"I sure hope so, I'm tired of watching them stare at one another like they want to say something," Hailey replied, sitting down on the floor next to Nick's chair just...well, just because she wanted to.

"Yeah, it was getting kinda ridiculous," Zar agreed with Hailey, moving the covers that she had found around her and Faye more.

Hunt looked at him after he kissed him, moving his hand off of his arm. He swallowed thickly afterwards and nodded, licking his lips.
"I....I've liked you for....for a while. But....I didn't wanna....put my feelings on you...I just...didn't wanna ruin our friendship," he replied to him, his body shaking slightly from the nerves. He didn't know how Ace was going to react to this information.

Nick nodded slightly in agreement. “Yeah. Not to mention how tense they’ve both been lately.” He commented softly. He glanced over at Hailey when she opted to sit right by him. He smiled a bit at her before glancing away again.

Faye glanced at her and rolled her eyes. “Are you comfy yet?” She asked softly, not minding how close Zar snuggled up to her. She was just wiggly right now.

Ace nodded slightly. “Umm. Uhh. Okay..” he mumbled, unsure how to react. It certainly put his mind at ease because at least hunt liked him back but he didn’t really know what they were supposed to do about it or how to proceed. He bit his lip and glanced away, trying to figure it out.

Zar looked up at her and nodded her head, setting her head back down on her shoulders as she turned her attention back to the show they were watching.

Hunt looked at Ace and waited for...for something. He didn't know what he was expecting, but...something. Of course, it seemed like he was getting a negative reaction from Ace, he was very awkward now it seemed. That....wasn't a reaction that he was hoping for, but he supposed it was a reaction he was expecting. Ace didn't like him...he had already known that.
"I'm sorry.....I'm sorry Ace, I'll leave you alone," he said with a shake of his head, quickly moving past him so he could retreat inside the cabin.

Faye smiled and nodded. She leaned her head against Zar’s and stayed there, perfectly content

Ace shook his head. “No. No.. just wait. Don’t go in yet.” He said quickly, looking at him and hoping he’d stop. “I Uhh. I like you too. But we both know that I am a complete fool when it comes to serious things like this. And I don’t have any sort of clue on what to say or how to act..” he told him quietly, shrugging. He was honestly at a loss

Hunt, against his better judgement, did stay when Ace told him to, listening to him as he spoke. He turned around as he did, his eyes widening a bit. He had just said that he liked him to....was he serious? Swallowing thickly, he moved back over to him and slowly reached down to take his hand.
"Ace, you said you liked me to....do you really? I don't...want you to say anything just to make me happy, so....do you?" he asked, just wanting clarification.

Ace watched him, shifting on his feet anxiously. He felt pretty sure that he liked Hunt; after all, he felt differently about Hunt compared to any of the rest of their flock. He loosely took his hand, giving it a reassuring squeeze.
"Uhh.. Yeah.. I think so? I dunno. As I said, no clue what I'm doing here. I just.." He stumbled over his words before stopping for a moment. He took a breath and did the best to collect his thoughts before continuing. "I feel differently about you than I do about everyone else we're with. Like I like them, but it's a family way.. This doesn't quite feel like that." He tried to explain.

Hunt searched his face as Ace tried to explain his feelings to him, nodding his head a bit. It took him a little bit to figure out that he liked Ace as well, he remembered feeling that same way.
"I'm going to do something then....and when I'm done, tell me how you felt about it, okay?" he said to him, licking his lips. Somewhat hesitantly, he leaned forward and pressed his lips very gently against Ace's, not wanting to scare him off.

Ace nodded slightly, glancing him over as his mind raced. He had absolutely no clue what they were going to do about this or how exactly they were supposed to go about it. It freaked him out honestly.
"Uhhh.. Okay.." He mumbled. He tensed up slightly out of surprise but relaxed almost immediately, gently returning the kiss. He stayed there for a moment before pulling away, looking back at Hunt and smiling shyly.

Hunt was in a love with the kiss. It was so simple and so small, it was his first one and it was with Ace. A guy that he's liked for...years, since they were stuck in the School together. He just hoped that...that Ace liked it to. Once they pulled away from one another, he looked into his eyes, waiting a moment before even speaking.
"How did you feel about that?" he asked, voice barley above a whisper, he couldn't get it to go any louder than that.

Ace smiled softly at him. He hadn't liked Hunt for quite as long, mainly because he'd just blow off any sort of feelings like that, thinking they were just made up in his mind and probably didn't matter. Plus, his focus was always on way too many different things to dwell on a short feeling. "uhh.. Good?" He guessed. "I dunno.. I uhh, I would like to do that again.." Ace mumbled hesitantly, smiling and shrugging at him.

Hunt listened to his reply and nodded his head, worried that maybe he was putting too much on Ace right now. He should probably slow it down, give him some space. Even though he wanted nothing more than to further their relationship, it didn't seem to be what Ace wanted or, really, what he needed. So he reluctantly moved away from him, offering a small smile.
"Well....this is just something we can work on," he replied softly.

Ace bit his lip lightly, watching Hunt for a moment. He was trying his best to focus and figure out how he was supposed to act and react but he was still so confused. He hesitated a moment before moving back close and kissing Hunt again. He didn't know if that was the right thing to do but it was what he wanted to do so he just went with it.

Hunt was going to suggest going back inside before someone came looking for them when Ace moved forward, initiating the kiss this time. It was surprising, yes, but not at all unwelcome. Hunt kissed him back, eyes closing and his one hand moved up to place on his cheek gently. His heart was also going wild in his chest, though it had been like that for a while now.

Ace smiled and closed his eyes, kissing him softly for a long moment before pulling away again. His heart pounded and he flushed darkly, his face almost red enough to match his hair. He opened his eyes and looked at him, smiling shyly. "Okay... I think.. I'm gonna stay out here for a few.. at least till I'm no longer looking like a fool... and then maybe we can try and figure out what next?" He offered quietly, unsure.

Hunt let this go on for as long as Ace liked, not even caring when the need for air made itself known to him. This was...one of the best moments he had ever felt in his life. And he knew that he probably shouldn't be worried about getting a boyfriend, he should be worried about staying alive and keeping everyone else in the Flock safe. But he had always thought about that stuff first and now, well, he just wanted something for him, even if that might make him a little selfish. He nodded at Ace's words once he pulled away, giving his cheek a small stroke before he moved his hand away.
"Okay...don't stay out too long," he replied to him, giving him another long look before he moved back into the house, his face still flustered.

Ace leaned slightly into his touch before he pulled away. He nodded. "I won't." He promised before stepping back and walking around the clearing that surrounded the house, trying to clear his mind and just focus on the important thing of the moment, he liked Hunt and Hunt liked him back. There was no need to worry about the other stuff, they had a shelter and were safe for the night at least.

Nick glanced over when Hunt came into the house, still looking flustered. "You good?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. He wouldn't question it much but figured he should at least check and go talk to Hunt if he actually needed or wanted it.

Hunt looked at Nick when he asked that, not really realizing just how flustered he still was until he took a second to feel the temperature of his face. He could feel now that his cheeks were quite warm, but he honestly kinda didn't care. He just nodded at his question, smiling a bit.
"Yeah I'm um," he cleared his throat, running his fingers through his hair,"I'm fine." He honestly looked...happy. He did move over to the open chair next to Nick, looking at Hailey on the ground."Why are you sitting down there?"

"Cause I wanted to save that seat for you or Ace, cause I'm a selfless angel," Hailey replied, batting her eyelashes at him. That earned her a pillow to the face from Hunt, which she returned back to him with a laugh.

Nick smiled a bit and nodded. "I see. You two finally worked it out then." He commented, rolling his eyes and looking back to the cartoon. Hunt seemed happy rather than upset so he wasn't gonna screw with it. He glanced back over when Hailey and Hunt smacked each other with a pillow. "What? Are we 5 now?" He teased lightly.

Ace came inside after a couple minutes, quietly shutting the door behind him before heading to the room that he and Hunt had claimed as theirs. He closed himself in there and tried to think/relax.

Hailey looked up at Nick when he commented, grinning at him.
"Why you want in on this?" she asked playfully, knowing the answer. Nick often didn't include himself in the Flocks pointless little fights, whether it be wrestling or pillow fights.

Hunt noticed when Ace came in and went to the room, hoping that things were still okay with him. That he was thinking about good things and not, well, bad stuff. He didn't bother him though, if he needed to think then he would let him think.

Nick rolled his eyes. "Nah. Cause I'll win. Or break someone's nose. And then I'll be in trouble with you and it's just a whole mess that I'd rather not deal with." He told her with a bright smile. "But I will provide you with ammo for your fight." He said, taking the pillow that was behind him and giving it to her.

Hailey chuckled a bit at his words, taking the pillow that was given to her and turning to look at Hunt, giving him a smirk.

Hunt, momentarily forgetting about Ace, looking at her.
"Oh come on! Not fair, giving your girlfriend the advantage!" he protested, but was soon meet with a pillow in the face.

Hailey laughed and quickly moved away to, hopefully, avoid getting hit next, but she didn't make it far before Hunt tackled her to the ground.
"Hey I thought this was a pillow fight!" she yelled, though she was smiling.

"You put this on yourself!" Hunt replied back, getting her into a headlock and tussling around with her.

Nick rolled his eyes, biting his lip at the girlfriend part. Were they really boyfriend and girlfriend? He hoped so but honestly hadn't really had a chance to sit and figure that out with her to be sure as to what they were doing. He smiled and watched the two of them as they fought, silently cheering on Hailey. "Meh, pillow fight, actual fight, what's the difference?" He teased, shrugging at them both.

Hailey did get stuck in the headlock, but she had fought with this boy countless times before. She knew how to get out of it. After moving around a bit, she managed to slip out from his arms and roll them over, pinning him down. Even though he tried to turn her around again, she caught his hands and managed to put a pillow in his face to slow him down. She took a chance and moved off of him, giggling as she ran behind the chair Nick was sitting at and hiding.

"Now that, that was cheap," Hunt said, tossing the pillow at her, which she managed to move behind the chair to avoid.

"Alls fair in love and war Hunt," she replied, peaking her head out from behind the chair.

Nick rolled his eyes at them as they fought before Hailey broke free and instead moved to hide behind him. He reached out and caught the pillow Hunt threw and hugged it to his chest, smiling a bit.

Ace had heard all the noise and grew curious about it so he came back out of the room. He quietly made his way over to behind Hailey, reaching and easily tickling her side before she saw him there. It was easier than normal since she was distracted by taunting Hunt.

"Oh, oh I see how it is Nick. Protecting your girlfriend," Hunt said, acting annoyed, but he wasn't and that was very, very clear. He was just playing."If you weren't so hurt I'd come over there and give you a peice of my mind."

Hailey had also noticed Hunt's openly use of the word "your girlfriend' when he was talking to Nick about her and that made her heart flutter every time she heard it. She wasn't sure if that's what they were though....but it would be nice. So was so distracted by that and playing with Hunt that she didn't realize Ac was behind her until she felt him tickle her. She squealed out right away and began laughing, trying to pry his hands off of her stomach.
"Nooo!! Stooooop!" she laughed, being very, very ticklish.

"Oh jeez....what has this escalated to?" Zar asked as she watched this, a small smile on her face though. It was nice, seeing everyone so calm and happy that they were able to joke around like this.

Nick rolled his eyes at him. "For one, I'm really not that injured. Two, go ahead and try to give me a piece of your mind. You'll probably end up pinned back to the floor but I'm good with that." He taunted, smiling at him.

Ace grinned and held her, still tickling her sides lightly. "Nope! Not till you surrender." He replied, glancing to Hunt.

Faye shrugged. "Normality I suppose." She commented. "It's good though. Better to have us all as our light-hearted selves rather than all serious and grumpy."

Now, Hunt knew better than to take on Nick. Even when he was injured like he was, he could still drop him to the ground quick. So he wasn't gonna be that stupid. He, instead, found himself distracted by what was going on behind his chair, seeing Ace and Hailey over there.
"Oh well, she can't do much being tickled," he said with a chuckle.

"Ahhhh!!!" Hailey yelled dramatically as she was tickled, kicking her legs and trying to get Ace to stop.

(( Funny thing is, this is exactly how I am when people tickle me. I kick and scream and wiggle around a viciously as possible until they stop XD ))

"Yeah, exactly. I'm glad," Zar replied with a smile.

Nick rolled his eyes at the lack of a response and instead just watched them. "Want help Hailey?" He offered after a moment, smiling and turning his head to look at her.

Ace tried to hold her but she squirmed too much so he had no choice but to let her go. He immediately moved to try and catch her again though.

"Me too." Faye nodded slightly. "Hopefully this'll last. Maybe minus all the dramatic screaming though." She commented with a shrug, not a huge fan of the noise.

Hailey wiggled away from him quickly, catching his arm as he tried to get her.
"Get away from me you heathen!" she said, locking his arm with her legs and trying to move him so he was on his belly. She didn't even have time to reply to Nick, too concerned with not getting tickled again.

Zar on the other hand really didn't mind it, it was just normality to her really. Being in a house like they were in, living with Hunt especially since he was always hella loud.
"They'll quiet down eventually," she replied.

Ace squirmed and tried to get away once he caught her. He faked being offended, scoffing at her. "I am so not a heathen!" He protested loudly, rolling his eyes at her. He grinned and tried to reach out and tickle her with his free hand.

Faye nodded, glancing back to the TV. "We just need one of those." She commented, a commercial for a Nerf Dart Gun playing. "Then we could just shoot at them when they're being too loud." She shrugged, smiling a bit.

Hailey laughed softly and continued to tussle with him, trying to bring him down. When she saw that hand reaching for her, she scream, once again, dramatically, and quickly moved so she was over him. When it came to her being tickled, the girl did not play around.
"No more tickling dammit!' she said, trying to catch her breath through her laughing.

"Yeah and then break everything in the house," Zar replied, looking over when she heard a bang and saw Hailey now had the upper hand on Ace. Not for long, of course, cause Hunt just came right around and scooped her up.

"What were you saying earlier about alls fair in love and war Hailey?" Hunt asked her with a grin as she tried to wiggle out of his arms.

Ace tried to tickle her along with get his arm back but she was still a bit stronger than him and easily had knocked him down onto his back. "You're no fun!" He complained, grinning once Hunt saved him by picking her up.

"True. But there's always a chance of that happening anyways?" Faye commented with a shrug.

Nick held his arms out slightly. "Here. I'll take her off your hands for ya." He offered with a smile, planning on taking her and setting her right back on her feet so she could go after them again.

Hunt looked at Nick and grinned, moving away from him.
"Mhhh, nah, I don't think so. I'll just let her suffer some more," he replied.

"Don't you even think about tickling me anymore!" Hailey said to the boys, trying to wiggle away from Hunt, but he threw her over her shoulder easily. He might not be that much stronger than her, but he was larger and easily kept her off the ground.

"And yet I find myself thinking about it," Hunt replied to her.

Nick rolled his eyes and got up, still favoring his injured leg a bit but at least he put some weight on it. "That's mean ya know." He commented, looking Hunt over and debating just how he wanted to take him down.

Ace grinned and stayed back, watching Hunt with Hailey.

Hunt looked over at Nick when he got up, obviously not happy for the now even numbers. He blinked at him and slowly started backing up with Hailey, hoping to avoid getting caught by Nick.

"Uh oh, Nick got up now. Hunt you'd better run," Zar said from the couch, no longer watching the cartoon. This was far more entertaining.

Nick came over to him, slowly following as he moved back. He had a bit of a smirk on his face but didn't seem in any rush to try and fight him or anything. He figured intimidation would probably be enough.

Faye nodded in agreement. "And set down Hailey. She can distract him so you can get away with your life." She added teasingly, her focus also on them.

Hunt was certainly not in the mood to tussle with Nick. He would get him down and keep him down for sure. The only person who even remotely stood a chance against Nick was Hailey. Looking at him for a moment longer, he simply tossed Hailey at him, knowing that either he would catch her or she would land on her feet, cause she somehow did 9/10 times. Then he ran down the hallway, screeching like a little girl along the way as he flailed his arms above his head.

"Oh Jesus Christ Hunt," Zar said, putting her hand on her forehead and laughing a bit.

Nick grinned at him. He easily caught Hailey in his arms, holding her close for a moment before setting her back on her feet, trying not to laugh at Hunt. "Well, we going after him?" He asked Hailey with a smile.

Faye rolled her eyes. "They're nothing if not dramatic. Imagine them all in like a theater class. They'd probably be like top people or leads or whatever they call it." She commented with a shrug

Hailey squeaked softly as she was tossed, having a good feeling Nick would catch her so she wasn't worried. It did bring a little blush to her cheeks though and she let him put her back onto her own two feet. Fixing her clothes a bit, she shook her head.
"Nah, not worth the trouble. I do, however, have a bone to pick with the one who decided to tickle me," she said, turning to look at Ace.

"I can see that," Zar replied with a chuckle, continuing to watch them.

Nick smiled a bit and nodded. "Alright." He flopped back down in the chair, not wanting to be on his leg any more than he absolutely had to. He just wanted it to finally heal up so it wasn't so sore anymore.

Ace glanced at her, his eyes going wide. "It uhh.. It wasn't me. It was my evil twin." He answered quickly, moving to go towards the hall and get away while he still had a chance.

Faye smiled a bit and nodded. She knew it would never happen. It wasn't safe for them to go to a traditional school. Even if she really wanted to.

From down the hallway, all you heard from one of the rooms was Hunt screaming.

Hailey watched him as he moved around her, raising her eyebrows a bit at him. Of course, she would let him get away if he really wanted to. She really hadn't meant for this to happen but, hey, it was certainly good fun.

Nick rolled his eyes. "Hunt! Would you shut it?!" He called out. "Don't make me come after you!" He threatened with a smirk. He looked back to Hailey and smiled a bit. "Try and use your powers to send him down the hall..." He said faintly to her, figuring it was worth a try.

Ace raised an eyebrow at her. "Well?" He asked softly, watching her worriedly as he debated whether to just stand there or to run.

Hailey looked at Nick when he suggested that, wondering if that would even work. She hadn't really tested them out and the times that she had used them, well, it had been on accident.
