Nick jumped slightly at her shout and then how she launched the backpacks before she fell back. He frowned and quickly moved to her side. “I think you figured out your ability. I’m just trying to save you some trouble Hailey.” He Mumbled faintly, holding out a hand to help her up. Faye jumped at the sudden outburst from everyone, looking around quickly. She looked up at Zar. “Hey. Sit back down. Hailey’s Okay.” She assured, getting up to go check and be sure.

"Ow. Yeah. Go...do that," Zar said with a wince on her face, looking over and everyone."What the....?" Hunt said, his mouth practically dropped open, pretty much as shocked as when Nick showed them his abilities.
Hailey wasn't hurt, but she was certainly surprised. Blinking rapidly, she looked up at Nick when he came over. Swallowing thickly, she looked down at her hand.
"Holy shit," she cursed. How did she even do that?
Faye frowned and stayed near Zar. She looked and made sure Hailey was okay. “She’s Alright. I guess she must’ve gotten her abilities.” She assured Zar. Ace glanced over at the commotion and raised an eyebrow. He kept quiet and just watched.
Nick sat by her as he felt he was close to falling down. “I think you just found your abilities. And that I should be glad you didn’t try them on me. I think you could’ve launched me pretty far.” He commented lightly, trying to get her to relax so they wouldn’t be fighting anymore.

"I guess so," Zar replied, staying down on the ground. She didn't mind being down there though, it was just as comfortable as the rock. As long as she wasn't on her feet she was fine."Yeah....probably a good thing I didn't huh?" Hailey replied, still trying to figure it out. Nick was able to turn invisible and she could push things away? She didn't know how useful that would be since she ended up launching herself in the process. Plus she didn't even know how she did it.
"Hailey are you alright?!" Victor asked as he came over to her, looking worried.
"Yeah, yeah Victor. I'm fine," Hailey assured the boy, trying to collect herself.
Faye nodded. She sat back down beside Zar. Keeping her company was more important to her than being around Hailey or any of the rest of them, and that was just amplified further since she was hurt. Nick nodded. “We’ll figure out how it works and stuff so you can control it..” He Mumbled. He rested her head on her shoulder, not trying to invade her space. He was just tired.
Cass stuck by victors side, not saying much of anything. All that had happened lately was just stressing her out a bit but she didn’t complain. She just kept quiet.

Hailey nodded, looking at Nick when he leaned on her. She knew that he was tired and, even though they had just been fighting, she let him lean on her. She even put her arm around him to offer more comfort. They fought quite a lot, yes, but she still loved him. They only fought because they cared."And now they're back to that," Zar said with a chuckle. They went back and forth so often she could barley keep track of when they were and weren't fighting.
“Thank you for not launching me across town.” Nick teased lightly, trying to get her to smile. He didn’t want them fighting so he would just relent and trust her judgement. He stayed leaning on her for a minute. Faye nodded. “At least their fights are never drawn out. They fix them all pretty quickly.” She commented optimistically.

That did get a little chuckle out of Hailey, since she was still reeling from her fight with him and then learning an apparent new power of hers."You're welcome," she replied, still letting him rest on her. He was tired and that was very clear."You should rest Nick. You need it."
"Yeah very true. I hope they stay like this for a little while," Zar replied.
“Then stop fighting and running away from me... please?” Nick mumbled. He looked over at her and bit his lip lightly. He didn’t lift his head, feeling pretty crappy. “Yeah. Or maybe they’ll just figure it out and be chilled out for a while.” Faye said hopefully.

Cause, you know, it's Hailey."
“Then just sit and let me lay near you for a bit. Or pick where you want me to be..” nick mumbled softly, looking at him. He bit his lip lightly. “Well. Of course she’s going to. But nick might relent and they’ll do it with be fighting.” Faye said softly. She kept an eye on nick and Hailey.

So come on, lay down," Hailey replied, moving slightly so she was sitting like she had been when they first got down here, going to let Nick use her as a pillow once more."They go from 0 to 100 like," Hunt snapped his fingers, sighing a bit and shaking his head,"I can't do all this mushy crap. Ace you wanna get that firewood Hailey was talking about with me?"
"Yeah," Zar replied, yawning a little bit and moved her hand to rub her shoulders. She was glad they had taken a break since she had begun to hurt a bit from the extended flying.
Nick bit his lip lightly. He moved and laid down, using her as a pillow. “You don’t need to worry so much. I promise I’m fine. Just a little tired.” He said gently, trying to get her to stop worrying. Ace nodded. “Yeah. I guess it’s just how they are...” he commented. “Both are stubborn and so protective...” he nodded and went with him to get some firewood.
“If you want, you can take a nap too..” she offered to her with a shrug.

"Uh huh," Hailey replied to him, hoping that he was going to fall asleep soon. He needed it, having just passed out and having, what she assumed was, a major infection. Sleep was priority number one."Yup," Hunt replied, going into the woods with Ace to get the wood,"We're taking another long break. It's probably good for us, but I can't help but feel we're wasting time for....something."
"No no, I'm more hungry than anything really," Zar replied.
“We get the meds and then we get right back on the move. We can’t sit around and wait for however long...” nick mumbled before closing his eyes. He didn’t wait for an answer before he fell asleep. Ace nodded. “Yeah. That makes sense. But something’s clearly wrong. I don’t know what though...” he said softly. “Nick didn’t want to stop..”
Faye nodded slightly. “Alright.” She pulled her backpack over to get out some food and water.

"I know," Hailey replied, noticing that he fell asleep right afterwards. She sighed and started stroking his hair, smiling a little bit as she looked down at his sleeping face. He was so infuriating sometimes....but she loved him. A lot."Yeah that's really weird. If he isn't feeling well then we should stop no matter what," Hunt replied.
"Thank you," Zar said to her with a smile.
Nick relaxed and stayed sound asleep. Ace nodded. “Yeah. True. But they’re not that way, remember? Theyll push till they can’t anymore. That’s how we ended up like this..” he reminded him.
Faye nodded. She handed over a bottle of water and a bag of dried fruit they had along with a granola bar. “They’re settled down again.” She commented, seeing nick asleep in Hailey’s lap.

"Yeah both of them do that, that's for sure. It's annoying," Hunt said with a chuckle, though he knew that he too had been guilty of it once or twice. But it had never been serious stuff, just like him pushing through being sore."Yeah I noticed....They look cute," Zar replied as she took the items from Faye, starting to munch on them.
Ace smiled a bit and nodded. “Yeah. It is. I doubt we can convince them o do anything about it though.” He Mumbled. He gathered some firewood and brought it back. Faye smiled a bit and nodded. “They are very cute together.” She Agreed. She ate a bit of the food with her as they sat together.

"Very true," Hunt replied, doing the same and getting some, following him back to where they were staying.Zar nodded and moved so she was closer to Faye, leaning her head against her shoulder as she ate her food.
"I hope whatever Hailey gets for him will help," she said.
Ace nodded. He set the firewood down before clearing an area for them to actually build a fire in. He glanced at Hailey and nick before back to hunt. “Maybe it’ll change eventually. Once they realize we’re almost all old enough to know what all is going on...”Faye slipped an arm around her friend easily, staying close to her. “Hopefully so. I don’t know what we’ll do otherwise. Not sure where we could go where any doctor would take him.” She commented softly, shrugging slightly.

"Yeah," Hunt agreed, cleaning Ace with clearing things up so they could build it. Of course, it was only the middle of the day so they wouldn't need to start it up now, they had plenty of time. Still, best to get it before it got dark."There isn't a doctor cause they'll know right away and we'll be labeled as freaks. Shipped off for government experiments and the School will probably get a hold of us and...," Zar stopped herself with a heavy sigh, realizing she was freaking herself out.
Ace worked with him and they got the fire built up so all they’d have to do was light it. He yawned and sat down, a bit tired and a little sore still from the school plus having to catch nick before he splatted on the ground. Faye listened to Zar. “No. That’s not gonna happen. If he just went in for whatever it is under some fake name, it could work. He’d get whatever he needed and then get out of there. They just can’t do xrays or anything similar to it,” she reassured gently

Hunt helped him the whole way through, noticing when he yawned."Why don't you catch some zz's? We're gonna be here a while after all," he suggested.
Zar nodded her head at her words, convincing herself that she was right. They had never been to an actual doctor before, they never trusted them enough after all. Well, Hailey hadn't and that fear went over to Zar. Looking at Faye, she shifted a bit.
"Faye, when I was in the School with Ace....I saw him....the whitecoat," she said, knowing her friend would be aware of who she was talking about.
Ace shrugged. “I could. You gonna stay up?” He asked, thinking that whatever Hailey was gonna do tonight, one of them should go with her. And he thought hint would be the better choice so he wanted to make sure he got enough rest too. Faye listened and bit her lip. “I’m sorry. He. He didn’t do anything, did he?” She asked faintly, worried about her. She kept her arm around her and held her close. If she ever had the chance and saw the guy, she was gonna kill him. He deserved that after what he’d done to Zar.

"Yeah I'll stay up, I'm not all too tired," Hunt replied, stretching his arms up and over his head, smiling at Ace."They let me see him again, even though he was never suppose to go near me again....He didn't do much except touch me....But the School said they were planning on doing experiments with Hailey and I," Zar stopped for a moment, swallowing thickly,"They were planning on getting us pregnant so they could see what kind of children we would produce. It was Hailey they were really after when they came to the house, Ace and I just happened to be the easiest to grab."
Ace nodded. “Alright. Wake me if you need me or if anything changes.” He told him softly, shrugging slightly. He reached and pulled his stuff over to him. Faye listened, biting her lip. “That’s not gonna happen. We’re not gonna get caught again. They won’t get the chance to touch you again or even think of trying something like that..” she assured gently. “Did you tell Hailey though? She asked softly, looking st her.

I think he told her," Zar replied, cuddling up closer with Faye. She was worried, terrified that they would be found again. And it probably wasn't just her and Hailey they wanted, they had tried to grab Victor too from what she was told. They were probably planning on doing some sort of weird experiment on all of them if they got the chance.
Ace nodded. He used his backpack as a pillow and laid down. He closed his eyes and tried to get some sleep. Faye bit her lip and nodded. “I think they were trying to get ahold of any of us that they could. Some of us are more valuable targets but they can probably find uses for us all that they want to test..” she mumbled, thinking of all the possibilities. Most of them were pretty bad but she wouldn’t mention them to Faye, not wanting to worry her or anything.

"Yeah that's exactly what I was thinking," Zar replied to her with a nod, sighing heavily,"I just wanna get as far away from the School as possible." She had a feeling that it wasn't gonna end here though, not yet, they were too valuable.
Faye sighed softly and nodded. “Yeah. I know. But it’ll be okay. They won’t catch us again. We’re gonna head up north and stay far far away from them for a while..” she reassured gently. “Well be safe.” She promised, staying close to her. (Just a heads up, I’ve got work for the next 4 1/2 ish hours. I’ll try and reply when I can..)

She wondered if that made her a target as well or if the school wanted Zar and Hailey for some particular reason.

Zar nodded and snuggled close to her, taking in a few, calming breaths of Faye's scent. She always smelled so good and it calmed her down well."One step at a time. We need to get Nick better and then we'll be on our way, hopefully very far from them," she said with a nod.
Faye smiled faintly and nodded. “Exactly. You’ve got it.” She reassured. She smiled a bit and held her close. “Well be out of here by tomorrow and on our way to wherever we’re going..”

Zar, again, nodded her head, relaxing more and more as time went on. Faye had that effect on her after all. And after a few minutes she pulled away from her slightly, relaxed completely."Let's go look in on the kids?"(( Wanna skip? I was thinking that Hailey could had snuck out to rob the store while Nick was asleep and we can go to when he wakes up? (: ))
Faye nodded. She smiled a bit and got up to go join victor and cass. (Sure!)
Nick slept for a long time. He didn’t stir at Hailey getting up or anything. Ace stayed to keep an eye on him, making sure that things didn’t get any worse while she was gone.

By the time night was there, the fire was built and the Flock were eating the dinner that Hunt had gone out with Cass to get. Nothing extraordinary, just some sandwiches, chips and candy. Their normal diet."I hope Hailey's doing alright," Victor said as he took a bit of the sandwich he got, sitting by the fire to keep warmer.
"She'll be fine, she did a fair amount of robberies for money back when we lived in the house. She knows what she's doing," Hunt replied with a shrug, not at all worried about it. She wasn't stupid after all.
Ace sat a bit away from the fire, staying near nick to keep an eye on him. He noticed nick twitching a bit and blinking a few times. “Hey... he’s waking up.” He told the others, mainly Hunt since he figured out nick would flip out when he saw Hailey was gone. Faye nodded in agreement with Hunt. “She shouldn’t be gone too much longer either. It’s more of her sneaking about and not being seen is the challenge. I doubt getting the drugs will be too difficult.” She said softly. She glanced at nick and watched as he woke up.
Nick blinked a few times, waking up groggily and feeling worse. He looked around, biting his lip and trying to see Hailey.

Hunt looked over when he heard Ace speak, having a feeling they were about to get scolded for letting Hailey go on by herself. They had tried, him, Ace and Faye to let one of them go with her, but she was dead set on going alone. Said it would be quicker and less likely for her to get caught. Which he agreed with, it made sense. Standing up, he went over to the two of them, seeing Nick looking around no doubt trying to find where Hailey was."She went to the pharmacy to get the drugs," he admitted to him, not gonna pussyfoot around it.
Zar also nodded in agreement, sitting next to Faye. She had finished with her sandwich and was munching on the bag of chips Hunt had gotten the two girls to share. It was a good thing they favorites the same types of things.
Nick frowned and quickly looked around. “How long ago did she leave?” He asked. If it had been too long, he was gonna go after her, whether he could walk steadily and function or not. He bit his lip and forced himself to sit up, rubbing his face. Faye ate a few chips as she ate her sandwich. She bit her lip and glanced at nick. “The freak out has already begun..” she mumbled with a frown. “If she hadn’t gone alone, maybe that would’ve been better for him not flipping out.” She said to herself, watching how he looked for her.

"Yeah. But her reason for going alone makes sense," Zar replied with a small shrug, glancing over where Nick was, seeing he was already trying to get up. She wished the two of them knew how to calm down when the other went to do something they deemed dangerous. But that was an impossible thing to ask of them really."A while ago, too long for you to catch up with her now. She's either in the middle of doing it or already had it done," Hunt replied, not knowing how true that was, but it was what he was telling him,"Besides she didn't even say which one she was going to. There's probably half a dozen pharmacies in that town."
“I know but at least when they know what the other is doing, they don’t freak out so much..” Faye commented. “Maybe once they finally get together, they’ll do that more often instead of sneaking around.” She ran a hand through her hair. “You let her go alone?” Nick snapped. “I can catch up with her. You should’ve been smarter than that. Nobody should be doing anything alone right now!.” He grimaced and nearly fell as he forced himself to his feet. He stood entirely on his uninjured leg, favoring the other one. He bit his lip, trying to clear some of the fog in his head so he could go after her.

“Me too.” Faye smiled faintly and nodded. She ate a bit more and watched nick. “He freaks out so much over her. If only she could see it..” he mumbled softly. She kept watching nick. “No. You’re an idiot. Ace and Zar got taken once before. Nobody should be alone. It would be so easy for them to grab her if she’s alone. You’re stupid for letting her go alone!” He snapped st him. Nick wobbled a bit, looking pale and shaky but he didn’t sit back down or anything.

You went along too when you went to the School, which was 10 times more dangerous than what Hailey's doing right now," Hunt said with a shake of his head, sighing,"Yell at me all you want, it's not gonna hang the fact that we let her go alone. You're not gonna find her so don't even bother. Just sit back down until he comes back.""Yeah he does, both of them do. It's insane really how they can act sometimes," Zar replied.
“That was different because we had no other choice. You easily could’ve gone with her. But you didn’t. And now I’m gonna go and be her backup because someone’s gotta be in case something goes wrong.” He muttered. “And don’t you dare try and stop me. I will win.” He Mumbled, stretching out his wings. Faye watched. “Should we intervene?” She Mumbled. “Just a bit.” She Agreed. “But they probably have known each other for the longest, ya know, since they are the oldest..” she commented. “Maybe that’s a part of it..”
Zar had watched the whole thing go down, her eyes widening when suddenly their bags were blasted off into the air and Hailey was now feet from where she had been.
"Hailey!" she called out to her, getting up instinctively, but she fell right away from the pain in her feet.
