Courtney It is?????????????????

message 52: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 476 comments I'd assume so. I looked on Goodreads, and it says there's a number two and three, which I'm quite excited about, because I wasn't really satisfied with the ending of The Host. I think it's called 'The Seeker' and 'The Soul'.

message 53: by Kat (new)

Kat (acharb11ymailcom) | 70 comments yep your right. I just looked it up. Book 2 is the Soul and Book 3 is the Seeker. However...there are no set release dates yet.

message 54: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 476 comments Hopefully it'll be out next year, it's not like she's got another series to focus on anymore. Are you planning to read them then? You really should!

message 55: by Holly (new)

Holly | 139 comments The Seeker is supposed to come out sometime next year and The Soul in 2012. I don't know why so late.

message 56: by Courtney (new)

Courtney yeah I wonder why, like Catherine said it's not like she got anything else to focus on. My guess is if she's planning on publishing Midnight Sun, that she finished by now and all they have to do is get all the paper work down and all the bussniess stuff and copy right and printing

message 57: by Holly (new)

Holly | 139 comments I think it's more to do with family time than anything else, but don't quote me on that. She's got young kids and she spent probably most of last year on the road.

message 58: by Courtney (new)

Courtney That's true. Oh I didn't know they were young. That must be hard.

message 59: by Holly (new)

Holly | 139 comments Well, I think they're both under ten, like seven and five or something like that. I could be wrong, I'm just going off memory here.

message 60: by Courtney (new)

Courtney oh huh, I didn't know that.

Corinne^TheDreamer^ (filos_apo_agkelos) | 3 comments go to this link to read Midnight Sun

message 62: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 476 comments It's a shame she didn't finish it, I thought it was really interesting to read Edward's POV. I especially wanted to read the meadow scene and when he went off to hunt James whilst Bella was at the hotel :(

message 63: by Holly (new)

Holly | 139 comments I want to read his reaction when he sees Bella in the ballet studio, unconscious. I can just imagine how scared he was.

message 64: by Courtney (new)

Courtney I know right? He'd be totally sooooo scared. I heard that she was going to finished it after all. I love it so far though! I've read it three times like almost a year ago.

message 65: by Holly (new)

Holly | 139 comments I've read it multiple times too, but I'm going to wait for when she finishes it. I love this "new" side to Emmett. He's totally different in Edward's point of view than from Bella's. He's more sarcastic.

message 66: by Courtney (new)

Courtney Yeah he is, I love it when they get Ben to ask out Angela (I'm not sure how to spell that) It's so funny.

message 67: by Holly (new)

Holly | 139 comments Yeah. I think my favorite part is when Edward's in Bella's room and he realizes he loves her and he'll never be the same again. I'm a sucker for romantics and that tips the scale.

message 68: by Courtney (new)

Courtney Me too. I can not resist a romantic novel/movie/TV show, mostly books though. It's my weakness.

message 69: by Holly (new)

Holly | 139 comments I can only watch so many of them at a time, you know? Because then I start getting depressed that I don't have that and then the bar gets raised too high because I want my own Edward or Westley (from the Princess Bride) or whoever.

message 70: by Mackenzie (new)

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) Holly, I know what you mean. I still like watching them cause it gives me a little bit of what I'm missing out on. :)

message 71: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 476 comments I think all these sexy guys from books has ruined real men for me! :D

message 72: by Kat (new)

Holly...the bar CAN NEVER BE TOO HIGH! Trust me...your Edward or Wesley is out there! I know guys like this do exist (minus the whole vampire, werewolf, etc stuff)...if I could describe my boyfriend in a book it would definitely be Gale from Hunger Games.

message 73: by Holly (new)

Holly | 139 comments I don't mean I'm going to settle for a bum off the street, I'm just saying perfectly fine guys don't seem to fit right anymore. I went on a date last year with a cute boy who had so much in common with me it was ridiculous. But the fireworks didn't go off when he kissed me and I ended it pretty quickly. I regretted it a bit later, but not enough to get him back.

message 74: by Courtney (new)

Courtney Oh that's sounds sad. I like romantic stuff for the same reason Mackenzie said. I like getting a little of what I'm missing out on. No bf for me right now. I can only wish...

Well anyways, book boys seem a whole lot better then real boys to me.

message 75: by Mackenzie (new)

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) Ohh, yeah book boys are great.. but real boys are better XD. hehee

message 76: by Courtney (last edited Sep 30, 2009 04:29PM) (new)

Courtney lol, maybe.

The fact that their real and that you can actually see and tocuh them is great. But most real boys can't match fictional boys in the personality department.

message 77: by Mackenzie (new)

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) oh, my best friend is like a fictional boy in the personality department :P. he's amazing <3, hence the reason why he's one of my BFFs :P

message 78: by Courtney (new)

Courtney Lol, totally

message 89: by Mackenzie (new)

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) indeed, it was lol

message 93: by Mackenzie (new)

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) Just to revive this thread, has anyone seen the New Moon movie yet?

message 94: by Courtney (new)

Courtney I have, I saw it opening day

message 95: by Mackenzie (new)

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) Oh really? Did you like it?

message 96: by Courtney (new)

Courtney Yeah I really did, it was sooooo much more like the book then the Twilight movie was to the Twilight book. They dida pretty good job. Plus my man Talor looked soooooo hot!

message 97: by Mackenzie (new)

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) LOL that's really good! :) I'm hoping to go watch it tomorrow night, idk if i'll be able to get a ride though... but i've really been looking forward to seeing it.

message 98: by Courtney (new)

Courtney yeah, it was good. You gotta go see it.

message 99: by Mackenzie (new)

Mackenzie RM (mackenzierm) LOL yeah :)

message 100: by Catherine (new)

Catherine | 476 comments I saw it too and thought it was much better than Twilight. Especially with the vampire speed thing, it looked so much better, like they actually were running really fast! And the wolves looked really good too. I loved the scene where they're with the Volturi and they're fighting!
