Peeta is amazing! For some reason, I've grown to kind of hate Gale. Well, maybe not hate, but be generaly annoyed by his existance. I just think Katniss and Peeta belong together. Also I keep getting this idea in my head Gale tries to kill Katniss.
I think I'm going to fanfic it! :P
But I like all the characters really.
I think that if Gale is gonna kill anyone, it's gonna be Peeta, lol
Ha. True. Okay, this is what keeps popping up. Katniss and Gale are in a room. Gale is told by some Capitol guy that they will save his family and keep him wealthy and well fed for life, but only if he kills Katniss. At first he says no way, but the guy keeps going on and on and slowly, he begins to turn and points his gun and Katniss, who is in shock.....Dun dun dun

I must admit that I never thought something even similar but Mairead now that you say it, it sounds really interesting to me =)
I still can't really see him killing Katniss, but I do find him really annoying, because I think Katniss and Peeta are supposed to be together and Gale keeps getting in the way!
yes, but then Peets jumps in the way of the bullet....and Katniss realises she loves him. Gale is in shock as Peeta lies bleeding on the floor groaning in pain. Katniss yells at Gale and tells him where to go, and then knocks him out and they escape.

What are your thoughts on the Capital? Do you think there's any way that America could end up like that in the future (besides the evil part)
I think that was the premise. The post apocolyptic world, merged with a dig at cunsumer capitalism taking over the world. However, I don't think it will turn out like that, considering it would take quite a lot of effort to split america into only twelve districts.
I actually met that a country, say America, would kinda take control over most of the rest of the world and rule them.
Oh, well, I doubt it. But I'm very hopeful it won't! :P

yeah, I guess. It would be werid to have one country rule the others, no matter which one it was. But I think in the Hunger Games that Capital is advanced, but evil.
I don't really believe that would happen, with just one country ruling over the world, it's too big for that

Nah, it's cause I don't normally end up reading a recently published book unless one of my friends has it or if the library has it. I don't often get out to buy books, unfortunately. School has nothing to do with this particular problem:P
Didn`t finish either one of the books,I did not like the story at all
I can`t see doing all those bad things to kids-where are all the adults that should be doing it and protecting their kids-like them having to feed their Moms and keep them alive and torture and killing the kids ,I know it`s all fantasy we read but I just can`t suspend for these and EnderAnd I know how popular and how people love them,just one of my quirks I guess.

MackenzieI know I don`t think I`ve heard any one say they didn`t like them,it`s just a story line I really don`t like.I never could read Ender either for the same reasons.
O f course I love Ghost and time travel and I almost always get those two are at the bottom of most peoples barrels
Oh okay, I understand. I've never read Ender's Game either. We were supposed to read it this year in English, but never ended up getting around to it. Ghosts and time travel are really interesting - I love stuff like that! :)
