Awh darn, I totally should not have read that comment by Courtney! Peeta loves Katniss? Interesting.. I guess I should get reading so I can find out what happens. ;]

It was really good, actually! It wasn't exactly what I had expected but now I'm really excited to read Catching Fire when it comes out!! :)
Same here, once I'd read what it was about I wasn't sure I'd like it, but once I started to read it I got really into the story and the characters. :)

like, how at the end when Peeta and Katniss were talking and Peeta was beginning to realize that for Katniss the whole lovey-dovey thing was just an act for the Capitol/Gamemakers. I was like, aww:(, cause I think that he really likes her.. :)
yeah, i think so too! I felt bad for him cause idk, I just did.. Katniss doesn't seem to realize how much he really cares.
I hope so! I can't wait until Catching Fire comes out cause I really want to know what happens next! :)

yes well now I know both her and Peeta are coming out of book 2 alive. It doesn't matter though, I just finished the book anyways. It was so amazing! When does book 3 come out? Or don't they even have a date yet?
***Spoiler Alert***well yeah I assumed she would make it out but before i read your comment I was counting on Peeta's death. Glad he didn't die though, I was worried. But how could they spit him and Katniss up like that? HE;s for sure being tortured. And Gale just showing up on the hovercraft to tell her about Prim and 12, WOW.
I can't wait for book 3! I need it now!

Hunger Games is my favourite book! Catching Fire was amazing..I finished it the day I bought it! To me the choice between Peeta and Gale couldn't be easier....I am a HUGE Gale fan.
REally? Huh, you don't see many of those. In fact the only reason Corinne voted for Gale on that poll was to go against everyone else, she hasn't even read these books. I love Gale too, he so hot and strong. But Peeta is so sweet and also hot. I just cannot pick!
You see...I'm more into the outdoorsy types..and Gales seemed pretty hardcore outdoosey to me. Peeta's just a baker/city boy. LOL
Yeah, well I'm not outdoorsey and if the book toke place in modern day I'd probably hate him since he's a hunter.But since it's in the future...
HE's super hot, and because he's a hunter it makes him hotter. But I still like Peeta too :)

Uhm, supposedly there's a movie being made that will come out in 2011 some time. And also the third book's title hasn't been released yet.. but it's supposed to come out fall of next year (2010).
oh, really? How are they gonna make it a movie? First of all, the book is told from Katniss who is alone for a lot of the Games so if they show her, then we'll have no clue what's happening. And when she's pretending to be in love with Peeta we won't know she pretending because she doesn't say that outloud. We'll have to be able to hear her thoughts for this to work.
Yeah, I don't know.. I read it on The Hunger Games website, I think, that they just got a license or whatever to make it a movie.. and that they'd just put it in production. It's true though, I have no idea how they're going to pull this off.. lol
Lol, totally. It's gonna be a hard one. I personaly think that Hollywood has a writer block so is looking to popular author's books for scrips. It seems they just can't let books be just books anymore.
LOL, I know eh!! I think they should stop turning books into movies, as I feel the books are always better anyways. It sucks though, cause they spend so much money on making a film based on a book, and I just find it annoying lol, they should make their own creations not use someone else's.
I've finally read the Hunger Games and I really liked it! I was put off reading it at first because I read the blurb and I thought the author completely ripped the idea off of a Japanese film I saw a few years ago, but I'm glad I read it because it was really good. I've started Catching Fire and it's just as good as the first book. I really want Katniss to be with Peeta, he's so lovely!

The first book really makes you want her to be with Peeta but Book 2 gives you a better look at Gale, who I also like. I just can't choose with them which is odd for me becasue usually I know immediatly which team I'm on.
Oh okay, lol. Well, I really want to read the second book.. I just need to find a copy when I get the chance.. my friend offered to lend it to me though, so hopefully in the near future I'll be able to read it !:)
