Hi Sharon,
Grain de Beaute means beauty spot. It's actually the first French word I've learned during French class back in college. I'm actually a Filipino. ^_^ As for the picture, I found that in one of the stock photo websites I frequent. I love the theme of the picture because it reflects so much of what I loved to do which is Photography and Travel.
Thanks for the warm welcome Sharon! ;) So happy to meet you.

Hi Lori!
Thanks for creating such a wonderful group. ;) It feels so homey and I feel welcomed by everyone. I love The Time Traveler's Wife. And I've read the thread that you guys have here. ;) I'm also excited for the September group reads. I've read The Little Women and can't wait to read Neil Gaiman's The Graveyard Book.
It's so nice to meet you! ;)

Hi Sharon!
Yes, I'm in the Philippines. ^_^ How about you? Where do you live?
Oh, I love photography!!! I like to take pictures of everything! But I love taking pictures of places and people. Somehow, I can feel that I'm watching a story unfold just by watching people while I take pictures of them. ;)

Welcome to the group :)
I'm a new member of Goodreads and of this group.I was browsing through the Groups Page when I noticed TNBBC and decided to join because the discussions and the theme of the group seems interesting.
My name is Joyce and I'm 21 years old (turning 22 this August 28). I reside in the Philippines I'm a BS Economics graduate and I'm currently working as an Investment Banker for Deutsche Bank.
I love reading books and I enjoy variety in my book choices. Book shopping (if there is such a term..Haha) is my therapy especially after the long hours of work. I'm currently reading The Time Traveler's Wife by Audrey Niffenegger and after that, North and South by Elizabeth Gaskell.
Aside from books, my other interests include sports. I religiously follow Formula One, Tennis and European Football. I'm also into photography and traveling.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to wonderful discussions, building friendships, and a lot of book recommendations from you guys.
Have a wonderful day!
