That is a long wait. You'd probably have finished the book at Borders by the time it gets to you at the library!

I'm reading spirit bound and it's driving me crazy!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't it?? I won't buy it cause I own the rest on paperback. That's why when ever I am at the book store I sit there and read it :) funny huh??
I really want to read the first book in this series, and it was waiting for me at the library and I missed it, so now I'm back on hold for it. 50+ places in line before I can get my hands on it, sadly. So disappointing. But I'll get to it at some point, in the meantime I've got plenty other books to read!

No, I haven't! :( I've heard such good things about the series, but I only started looking for a copy of the first book a few weeks ago. Haha, I'd be ever so grateful, the library hold is killing me. :P
I can imagine, libraries really should get more copies of the book in if it's so popular. I always feel really left out if people start talking about a good book that I haven't read!
Yea me too! It sucks! They have 10 or so copies of it at each different branch of this library, but only one copy per branch.. if that makes sense.

I loved Vampire Academy Series! I absolutely love Rose and of course Dimitri! Can't wait till The Last Sacrifice comes out!

It's a book about Vampires yes , but it's a bit more complicated than that. You see, there are two types of Vampires and one hybrid Vampire in these books.
The first would be a the Moroi, these were the original Vampires. The Moroi are good Vampires, do not kill when drinking blood and can weild elemental magic.
The second Vampires are the Strigoi and they aren't so good. These Vampires are not born but are created and there are different ways for that to happen. The first is for a Moroi to become one by choice by killing a person while feeding. The second way is not volentary, it is when a Strigoi drinks blood from a human, Morio or Dhampir(I'll get to them later) and then feed the victim Strigoi blood after. To make matters worse the Strigoi are kind of immortal and have hightened senses and are inhumanly strong. There are three ways to kill them and only three, and all of them are extremly difficult. The first way to kill a Strigoi is by stabing them in the heart with a stake that has been blessed with the four elements, earth, air, fire, and water, my Moroi magic. The second is to decapitate them. And the third way is by burning them with fire.
Now back to the hybrid Vampire I mentioned, they are the Dhampris. A Dhampir is half human and half Vampire and originally came from Vampires mating with humans, but are now from Vampires and Dhampirs mating. The Dhampir serve are guardians to the Moroi as they are much stronger then the Moroi.
This is where your main character for the books comes in, Rose Hathaway, she's a Dhampir and guardian intraining. In the book you follow Rose and her best friend, Lissa Dragomir a Moroi Princess, through all the different situations that they find themselves in. Rose is a very strong willed character with a bit of an atitude problem and I garentee that you will definitely love here.
The book is set at St. Vladimir's Academy, a school for Moroi and Dhampir. This is where Rose an Lissa are brought back to after being away for some while. And trust me this school is not a boring one! There is always something going on and it normally involves trouble for Rose.
I would definitely suggest the series to you if any of this sounds the least bit interesting to you. I personally was unsure of the series when I first heard of it and didn't really think that I would like it all that much. But I can tell you now that I was waaaaaaaaaaaay wrong, I absolutly love it.
If I missed anything in there and you want to know more about the series or the characters in it just let me know. I hope that you check it out and if you do read it I'm sure you'll love it.

omg I have loved vampires and the abnormal and supernaturl as long as I can remember so of course with out a doubt I will love this book series with out question lived in some pretty supernatural typ housing places haha it was quit fun actuall th haunted house and weirdo neighborhood waz ^_^!
