Ooooh, this tortoise has finished another book, finally

it's such a slow paced book. I'm glad I'm listening it and not reading it But this panda is at least trying lol
I'll finish my current buddy read book tomorrow morning and then I'll get up reviews from that one and another buddy read :)
Uh oh. I was going to try to sneak the Belles in sometime soon so i hope it's not too terribly slow.

Page count with a 3 in it? Yes... Or do you mean finishing one for the page count? Again yes. :)
They match the descriptions but are not 100 (159?) pages long, just short stories
This month they are allowing a half point for 50-99 but if they aren't 50 I'd guess they'd allow you to combine since they do that with poetry and manga. I'd check with Abbie though just to make sure.
Well that lead was short lived, somehow they are now 33 points ahead again.
I'm finishing another BR today, which should be 8 points. It's not much, but it's a little bit of help.
I should have a couple more done later too one of which is a BR too. so we'll just slowly climbed our way back again.... fitting with that Sloth and Panda on the team. LOL
gosh, I'm soooooo embarrassed...I'm way too slow this month, I don't know what's happening...
Guess your in need of a really good one to make you really want to read and break the slump. Great thing about audio, easy to push myself through when they are boring me.
I blame it on the publishing house, they've only sent me really crappy books lately...
If it helps any I've read Sarah say they will take a review on a DNF now too if you let them know how far you got. They never did that before and I had a few I wanted to toss out a window.
I usually quit those books after only 20%, do you think they'd count?

If the 20% was over the 100 pages I would guess it would... or in this case over 50 counts. I just saw her tell someone that last month and haven't quit one to try. LOL
And my battery is dying so I guess my goodreads surfing is done for the moment. Oh well, laundry waiting anyway.

I'm in Brazil, so publishing houses here purchase publishing rights from agencies abroad. Before purchasing those rights, they need someone to read and evaluate the books. I'm the one who does that.
Thing is, lately, I've been getting a lot of terrible books...
This panda will splatter couple of reviews later. 
This tortoise also has a staggering TWO reviews to post.
Shoot I've got two more since yesterday. LOL
I can "read" them fast since the majority of the time I just stick it on text to speech and listen to them but writing the reviews is another story, that will take all day... sometimes more. LOL
the good thing is that I told the publishing house that there was no way I could keep reading the book they sent me, it was way too dull

I didn't think I would be able to get into them either when I tried several years back but I find it pretty easy now. Of course when the family is around and people interrupt I have to go back and pick up but it's no worse than being interrupted sitting and reading a book. LOL

Same, at first I couldn’t do the audiobooks, but later found out that’s an amazing way to read the drags.
Haha sorry guys, I won't finish many books this week. I'm going to London tomorrow, so I won't have much time for reading :)) I'll try my best though!
