Yes, that is the start of the quote (at least from the movies). This is how I remember the whole quote from the film:"You're not a bad person. You're a very good person who bad things have happened to. You understand? Beside, the world isn't split into good people and Death Eaters. We've all got both light and dark inside us. What matters is the part we choose to act on. That's who we really are."
That Dumbledore quote is from book 2, I believe... it is roughly in the Chamber of Secrets film. I wonder if my above quote is in the books at all then? Or is it just a re-write of these other quotes we've mentioned?

Wait, Sirius is dead in book 6, so is it maybe a Dumbledore quote? Any ideas where about it is in book 6?
I really like the Order of the Phoenix film... yes, it left a ton out, but I really liked how they showed so many layers of conflict, and the casting of Luna was PERFECT!
Can anyone find a page number for this, or is it really just a movie quote?

I don’t think this quote is in the book, the closet I could find is "Yes, but the world isn't split into good people and Death Eaters"
google says its from prisoner of azkaban. :)edit: i do believe something along these lines is said in several different books. I can place all the funny quotes, but not very many "inspirational ones" :P

This quote is said by Sirius Black about half-way through the movie, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," in the tapestry room of the Black Family House. However, I cannot find its book-equivalent quote in the novel. Can anyone give me an exact page and chapter reference? Or was it just a line made up for the film? Thanks in advance!!
