On multiple profiles of a same author

These two following profiles belong to a same author:

- https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

Questions:
1. Shall we attempt merging those two profiles? (I really would like to, but they both have got many books associated already)
2. If it's a "yes" to the previous question, can anyone help doing it? (I don't have the privilege to do that yet)

Then here's one more question:
I don't know why but it's observed that there are (quite many) occurrences that a book's author name does not match the actual language.
For example, this book https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2... is published all in the Chinese language. According to your response, shall its author be the Chinese version of https://www.goodreads.com/author/show... ? But currently it's https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...

Do you mean that we shall try fixing the author names of all such books?

Authors with books published in multiple languages should have their names dealt with similarly to those with pen names. All editions should have the primary author name as the standard or most common Roman (that is, English-language) version of the author's name. Editions published under another spelling of the name or the name in another language should have that name listed as the secondary author. Different editions of a book not having the same primary author can cause quite a few distinct problems. Please keep the primary author for all editions of a work the same.

I just wanted to help maintaining the book info. If there's anything wrong (according to the site rules), it's the book info, not the one who reports it.

@rivka: I'm not sure whether you think your link or quote answers my question, but at least it's a "no" to me. There're thousands or maybe more existing books that violate the rule of "using the Roman name as the primary author", and would you be happy if one day I create 1000 posts in this group, each reporting one such books and request for update?
