I started listening to it. The idea (view spoiler)[]of parasite-souls (hide spoiler)] is really fascinating. The opening scenes caught my attention, too. It was fun to see (view spoiler)[soul-transfer operation (hide spoiler)]!
Didn't like first person narrative much, though

I listened to about one third of the book.

I quite liked the sci-fi angle - Wanderer's story about other forms of life, especially spiders is very nice. I'm curious to know the story behind skipped worlds. Will the reader know when the expansion started and why?

I don't really care about any of the characters, they are quite bland. I wonder why Wandered, who is supposed to be quite mature after her many lives is such a drama queen.

I'd love to know your opinion when you catch up with me. Do you feel that the place when most of the narration is happening contribute to the atmosphere of the story?
