Richard Hutchison | 21 comments Mamta beta read my contemporary romance, and I would use her again. She read it three times, made corrections in the text, and gave me excellent feedback. All within the promised time framework. Excellent work, I would recommend her to anyone who wants an excellent beta reader at an affordable price.

message 18: by Karen (new)

Karen (kjanowsky) | 22 comments Mamta is incredibly responsive. My manuscript was lengthy, and she regularly updated me with her progress. Her feedback was meticulous, detailed, and always, always encouraging and compassionate. Additionally, when I had further questions and asked for other suggestions for some issues we'd agreed ought to be addressed, she continued to work with me, even though she'd already sent me her formal report. I can't say enough good things about her as a beta reader.

message 19: by Ashok (new)

Ashok | 1 comments She read the entire story and gave summary of thoughts, what is working and suggestions on plot. Honest beta reader with knowledge on craft

+ She took care of my follow-up questions, too

I can definitely recommend her!

Devin (perpsykhone) | 6 comments I wanted to give my full support for anyone who is looking for a thoughtful, thorough beta reader for their story to give Mamta a chance.

My manuscript was long and fairly unconventional, but she was open and understanding to what I was looking for in terms of response. I loved that her notes to me included not just questions or suggestions for improvement, but moments where she pointed out things she loved, emotions she felt, and understanding she gained. I genuinely felt as if I was getting to be a psychic fly on the wall while someone read my book.

Very highly recommend and I'm happy to answer any questions about her privately if needed.

Warmly,
Devin

Josephine Lieder | 2 comments Working with Mamta was a pleasure. I am incredibly new to the world of indie publishing and she was the first Beta reader to have reviewed my entire manuscript. She was incredibly prompt and professional, and offers flexible rates.

What I loved most about working with her was the insight she gave me on my manuscript. She pointed out valuable pieces of information that I could include to improve it and, most valuable of all, let me know her emotional reactions to events that took place, the dialogue, and the characters in a chapter-by-chapter analysis. This gave me confidence, validation and shed a new and fresh perspective on my work. She also went through and pointed out any grammatical errors, spelling errors, and missing words.

It is clear how much care she took in reading my manuscript and her attention to detail, and for that I'm highly appreciative.

I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a Beta reader, and I am eager to work with her again in the future!

Best regards,
Josephine

Thanks

LD Jackson | 9 comments Hello All,

I highly recommend Mamta as a beta reader! She is very thorough, offers great insight and made great suggestions. Her work was far superior to other beta readers I've had on my contemporary romance/suspense novel. I give her an A+, 5 stars!

message 27: by Max (new)

Max | 8 comments Mamta was my first official beta reader beyond family and friends. I didn't know what to expect. I didn't know if my manuscript was worth anything. The only feedback I'd had were from a parent, spouse, and friend. My mother was the only one who'd actually read the whole thing and it came as no surprise she thought it would be a bestseller *eye roll*. So when I brought Mamta on, I was going in completely blind to reader's expectations.

I was blown away by her feedback. She pointed out some errors here and there but gave such in-depth information, telling me how she felt and what she felt was missing, where she would swoon and where she would tear up, and even what made her angry and disappointed. I was given such hope and invigorated by her thoughts and praises.

All I can say is, don't bother reading all these reviews anymore and just hire her already! You will not regret it! I'm definitely keeping her contact info for future versions of the book and for any other future manuscripts I write.

Oscar Calderon (oscarcalderon) | 8 comments Mamta is a passionate beta reader with a huge sense of commitment. Keeping in touch constantly, she provided me with an enhanced perspective of my manuscript, which she accepted to read despite the genre. Her comments were assertive and her observations useful.
Do not hesitate to hire her, she's great.

message 29: by Oxana (new)

Oxana Gritsko (gritsko_g) | 19 comments Mamta is great! She did beta-reading and also corrected mistakes for me. Her comments are really inspiring, and suggestions helpful. You can clearly see that she works out of passion and love for reading rather than just profit. Her rates are flexible, and I really don't think there are many people who'd accept to do this kind of thorough work for whatever you can offer. Thank you very much Mamta! I'll definitely get back to you in the future!

message 30: by Bob (new)

Bob Laurie | 11 comments Mamta's beta review summary takes the author through their book seeing and feeling as if you were the reader. She was passionate about knowing the characters and gave insight about how she preserved them. Her critiques were spot on and when I finished her review I knew what I needed to do to complete my book and get it published. Considering the amount of detail she provided the reasonable cost was a bonus. She was also prompt, courteous and honest. I highly recommend her as a beta reader, you won't be sorry.

Rebecca Winkler (goodreadscomrebecca_winkler) | 28 comments Hello Mamta,

I have sent a more detailed email (to your ID) describing my manuscript. I would like a beta-read on this Romance/Suspense novel. Please let me know what you charge. Thanks so much.

message 32: by Shannon (new)

Shannon | 6 comments I cannot recommend Mamta enough as a beta reader.

She is prompt, honest, and sticks to her deadlines very well. She always replied to my emails and questions withing 24 hours and was always kind and courteous.

Her process itself is EXTREMELY through and helpful. She breaks down each chapter and gives you her thoughts on each and what you can improve (in a respectful way) and is ready to answer any questions you have about her comments.

Again, cannot recommend Mamta enough, she will be my primary beta reader going forward.

message 33: by JRWAF (new)

JRWAF | 3 comments I hired Mamta after reading the other reviews here and can only confirm that they are all on point. I greatly enjoyed the formatting of her feedback; comments on insights and emotional response in "real time" as she progressed through the novel.
It felt very much like the feedback of a reader, expecting the book to work in every aspect, but with just enough knowledge about the craft to provide constructive criticism and valuable pointers. She's since even taken the time to answer my follow up questions and expand/clarify on some of her thoughts.

I recommend hiring Mamta if you're looking for a Beta that will provide you with a comprehensive report that quickly and effectively sorts out any points of confusion, insufficient exposition, underdeveloped characters or any other issues your work might be suffering from. All the while letting you revel in the exact moments where you actually managed to elicit an emotional response.

For future projects Mamta is definitely on my list of go-to Betas and I recommend you to add her to yours!

As a beta-reader, Mamta is awesome. I highly recommend her to anyone needing this service. It was a pleasure to read the feedback on my manuscript because of her insight at the deepest level. It’s clear she takes her time and delves into the story. The characters become people to her, and for that I am so grateful. It’s not easy to write character arcs that go through an instant sexual attraction, and then a love/hate relationship (a definite bumpy start) which includes a lot of angst, healing, redemption, forgiveness, and then end up as a believable happily-ever-after kind of couple. Her suggestions were valuable and relevant to the scene, which shows me how well she connected to the overall story arc, as well as the character arcs. I love her chapter-by-chapter style of accounting for her emotional reactions to the scenes, including the dialogue.
You will not go wrong by choosing her to help your writing be the best it can be.

E.C. Fisher | 1 comments Mamta provides a great service to anyone seeking beta readers for their manuscripts. She reads each chapter and provides a breakdown and little helpful notes for the author to digest and incorporate into their work. I used her twice and each time found her insight useful and very helpful.

Anyone author who has had a beta reader say, 'It's okay' or provide little to no feedback will find her pleasant and eager to read. I kind of don't want to mention all her good points so that I may keep her to myself but alas I'll share her.

message 40: by River (new)

River Racz | 5 comments Mamta was a fantastic beta reader for my low fantasy novel. She was highly responsive, provided detailed feedback, and really made an attempt to connect with my characters and story. I will definitely be taking her feedback into account when re-writing :) and I for sure recommend her to anyone seeking a beta!

message 41: by Oksana (new)

Oksana W | 140 comments Mamta was a great beta reader for my historical novel, Street of Peacocks. She went above and beyond and gave me lots of awesome and constructive advice. Additionally she was prompt, professional, and easy to communicate with! I can recommend Mamta's beta services!

message 42: by Shannon (new)

Shannon | 6 comments Mamta is an absolute joy to work with. She is first and foremost excellent and prompt with back and forth communication. This applies to answering questions you have and any questions she has. Mamta adheres to scheduling agreed upon perfectly.
Mamta’s feedback is a must for any aspiring writers. Not only does she do a beta read but she also will do a cursory edit of the text as well. Her edit helped me see thing I previously didn’t in my work and improve the overall quality. As for the feedback of the work itself she writes feedback for every chapter, commenting on pacing, story, what works and what doesn’t. It is an overall very comprehensive feedback.
Finally, I believe it’s important to note this is the second time I’ve used Mamta’s services and will continue to us them in the future. As far as I’m concerned anything I write Mamta will be one of the first to see it.

message 43: by Ie (new)

Ie | 8 comments Mamta beta read my YA novel and provided me with helpful feedback and suggestions for improvement. One thing I really enjoyed about her report was seeing her emotional reactions to the story as it unfolded, which helped me see more clearly what impact the scenes would have on the reader. Overall, her feedback was very supportive and encouraging, and it felt like she had made a real effort to understand the characters and their motivations. Thanks!

message 44: by KiraoftheWind (new)

KiraoftheWind | 4 comments Mamta finished reading my VERY long fantasy novel and she had input on every chapter. I was thrilled to see her comments on everything, the good and the bad, and to see what got an emotional response out of her. Thank you for your thorough work!

message 45: by Jay (new)

Jay Penner (jaypenner) | 20 comments Mamta did a "final beta read" of my upcoming work. My instructions to her were perhaps a little different--I didn't want chapter by chapter notes and I told her I was in my last stages and wasn't looking for any major changes in plot or characters.

She accommodated the rush and turned it around faster than I thought and gave me the 'emotional' response for various parts of book-just what I was looking for.

She also sent me a correction list of 26 edits. Quite distressing, really! And here I thought I'd squashed all those bugs through previous reads, Grammarly, Hemingway, MS word. The fact that she caught all those little errors at this stage by itself was a huge help for me.

Great to have engaged her for the work!

message 47: by Mark (new)

Mark Pearce | 19 comments Mamta has recently read through my part completed MS. The feedback given is brilliant with a large emphasis on her reaction and emotional response to the story.
She is not afraid to give her view on what she does not like but does it in a compassionate manner which helps to absorb the feedback.
She has helped me to gain an understanding of how a reader would react to the book which will help me to make it even better than it is now.
She is my first approach to a beta reader other than a family member of friend and has made sure I would not be afraid to use one again. Her whole approach is one of a professional who wants to give a good service.
I would recommend her unreservedly.

message 48: by Jim (new)

Jim O'brien (jimobrien) | 8 comments Mamta, my book is called, 'The Woman Who Regained Her Youth, it also includes a sequence called, 'The Hour Glass.' She's science's first successful genetic engineering to turn back the human biological clock. (They are actually working on it.) Total words are 130,000. Are you interested in proof and Beta reading it. Would you need a sample? What is your fee?

Aya DGH | 6 comments Mamta is the most passionate beta reader I have hired so far. Even though the genre wasn't what she usually reads, she was able to emotionally connect with each character and the story. Her suggestions are very useful and helped me a lot to improve my manuscript. She is precise, friendly and eager to provide the best service. She delivered ahead of the deadline and apart from the detailed feedback for each chapter, she also spotted typos and wrong sentence structures other editors missed. I was very impressed with her professional attitude, she was quick to respond and did a thorough and amazing job.

Hire her, believe me, she worth every penny.
