I read a book in the early 1990s about a man who goes into hospital to have his tonsils out but after he was sedated and on the trolley on the way to theatre there was a clash of trolleys and the men were put on the wrong trolleys. He woke up having had a sex change. I'd like to recommend the book to a friend but can't recall the author or the title. Perhaps it was called something as simple as "Girl"? Any ideas please
